In the following days, nothing special happened. During the day, Zhang Cheng would go to work, and Han Yixiao would attend her classes. They didn’t contact each other much. When Zhang Cheng had enough ti, he would personally pick up and drop off Han Yixiao. When he was short on ti, he would ask Han Jingnian’s driver to do it instead.
Apart from the first day when Han Yixiao held Zhang Cheng’s hand, which made him feel uneasy for two days, once that feeling passed, the two got along quite harmoniously and comfortably... or rather, they were getting more and more harmonious and comfortable with each other.
The only thing Zhang Cheng didn’t understand was why Han Yixiao insisted on feeding him a piece of candy every day.
The dicine given by Xie Lin was really effective. Just as he said, a week later, when the dicine was finished, Han Yixiao’s arm was just like before the scald – not a single scar was left.
That morning, after applying the dicine, Zhang Cheng was putting away the box and said, "After one more application tonight, Miss, you won’t need to apply any more dicine. You won’t have to commute back and forth and can stay at school with peace of mind."
While saying this, Zhang Cheng didn’t think too much of it, but Han Yixiao just stared at him for a while with wide eyes before lowering her head.
That evening, after eting with a business partner and finding it was on the way, Zhang Cheng drove to Han Yixiao’s school.
The next day was Saturday, a day without classes. Zhang Cheng planned to apply dication for Han Yixiao that night and then send her to the Han Family’s old residence early the next morning, before going on a trip with his friends.
However, he waited at the gate for half an hour and finally saw Han Yixiao, but she wasn’t the lively Han Yixiao he had dropped off at school in the morning; instead, she was listless and wilted.
Seeing this, Zhang Cheng imdiately opened the car door, got out, and ran towards Han Yixiao, "Miss, why do you look so pale? What’s wrong?"
Han Yixiao lifted her sickly little face towards Assistant Zhang Te, shook her head, then covered her nose and sneezed.

Han Yixiao had caught a chill which led to the fever, nothing serious. After getting so antipyretics, Zhang Cheng took her ho.
After preparing dinner for Han Yixiao and making sure she took her dicine, Zhang Cheng told her to rest.
Han Yixiao was frail, and by the next morning, not only had her fever not subsided, but she also seed even more languished.
Zhang Cheng had to cancel his outing with friends and stayed ho to take care of Han Yixiao.
It wasn’t until Tuesday that Han Yixiao’s fever finally broke, and she gradually began to feel better. Zhang Cheng thought Han Yixiao could go back to school on Wednesday, but on Tuesday afternoon, while eting with an important client, he received a call from Han Yixiao.
The call was made by Han Yixiao’s classmate using her phone, saying that Han Yixiao had fainted during class that day.
Zhang Cheng, who never misses appointnts with clients, apologized sincerely to the client while hurrying to the school.
Upon arrival, he learned that Han Yixiao had fainted due to severe nstrual pain.
The school teacher’s advice was to take a few days off to rest. Seeing Han Yixiao pale and curled up in pain on the bed in the school’s dical room, Zhang Cheng imdiately said, "Thank you," and took her ho.
Zhang Cheng had originally planned for Han Yixiao to return to school on Wednesday, and with her not needing his care, he would go on a business trip on Wednesday night. But now, with these developnts, his business trip was off...
