After breakfast, Zhang Cheng changed Han Yixiao’s dressing and then drove her to school.
Throughout the process, Zhang Cheng mishandled things several tis, either failing to twist open the cap of the dicine bottle and squeezing the dicine onto the cotton swab, or stepping out of the house in slippers, and even nearly running a red light unconsciously at the traffic signal.
After dropping Han Yixiao off at school, Zhang Cheng went to the company, where his state of mind was quite distracted throughout the entire morning.
The inefficient Zhang Cheng remained busy until seven in the evening before finally driving ho.
At five o’clock, Han Yixiao was picked up by a driver he had arranged from school and brought back to the apartnt. When Zhang Cheng opened the door, he imdiately saw Han Yixiao laying on the table reading a book.
Upon hearing the noise, Han Yixiao turned her head towards the door and, seeing Zhang Cheng, she imdiately flashed a smile, slid off the chair, and ran towards him.
While Zhang Cheng was changing his shoes, he asked, "Have you eaten, young Miss?"
Han Yixiao shook her head, then stretched out her clenched hand towards Zhang Cheng.
Seeing Han Yixiao’s hand, Zhang Cheng instantly recalled the image of her grasping his hand the night before. He was startled and subconsciously took a small step back, only then to see Han Yixiao open her palm towards him, revealing yet another candy.
It was still the sa brand of candy, but this ti it was orange-flavored.
Han Yixiao, not noticing Zhang Cheng’s reaction, peeled off the candy wrapper and extended the candy towards Zhang Cheng’s lips.
Zhang Cheng’s Adam’s apple bobbed twice, he lowered his head slightly and took the candy into his mouth, quickly filling it with sweetness, "Young Miss, continue reading for a bit, I’ll go cook dinner."
Han Yixiao didn’t speak but followed Zhang Cheng to the kitchen.
"Young Miss, you should go outside. There will be a lot of smoke here later..."
Before Zhang Cheng could finish speaking, Han Yixiao shook her head, then pointed to the pots and pans. Seeing that Zhang Cheng did not understand, she took out her phone from her pocket and typed four characters: "I want to help you."
Zhang Cheng was montarily stunned, then understood Han Yixiao’s intention: "Do you want to help cook?"

There was no denying that Han Yixiao’s eyes were stunning. Although there was a resemblance to Chi Mu, still more of her features inherited the Han Family’s genes.
Zhang Cheng didn’t utter a word of refusal, simply conceding, "Okay, then can you help shell these beans?"
Han Yixiao obediently took the bag handed over by Zhang Cheng, crouched beside the trash can, and began shelling beans.
Han Yixiao’s ability to work was not poor; she quickly shelled the beans. Zhang Cheng really wanted to let her rest, but seeing Han Yixiao’s longing eyes, he could only instruct her to do other tasks... Just like that, with Han Yixiao’s assistance, Zhang Cheng’s dinner was prepared twenty minutes faster than usual.
After dinner, Zhang Cheng had so unfinished work-related matters, so he went to the study. Han Yixiao didn’t disturb him and continued reading in the living room.
Just like the night before, after Zhang Cheng finished his work, Han Yixiao had fallen asleep. He carried her into the second bedroom and after placing her on the bed, he sat down beside her to change her dressing.
However, tonight Han Yixiao did not randomly grab things in her sleep like she did the day before. But after applying the dicine, Zhang Cheng himself sat by the bed, staring blankly at Han Yixiao for a long while before leaving.
