For example, the curse on his body was suppressed and eradicated as soon as he regained possession of the fishing rod, which was the weapon’s passive effect without being actively triggered.
The cat spirit cloak, Zheng Yichen checked, also had a slight change in how it felt. The cat spirit inside didn’t beco livelier but seed more sinister and evil, with an aura of curse enveloping it. People unfamiliar with the cat spirit would only find this little creature to be very dangerous.
