Not able to prevent himself anymore, Jack called out, "Mother…"
That's right! The person that Jack was hugging not long ago, and was looking at currently was none other than his mother, Anne!
This was the very person that about 6 years ago, he believed that she had died. He had attended her funeral, living all these years believing that she was dead. It was only during this year that suddenly, he felt that there was sothing that was not right.
In the end, he ca to realize that what he had actually buried was just a clone. And the clone itself was just a body, and not one with life. And to say the truth, at that point, Jack felt devastated.
But of course, he also felt extrely happy. It was due to the fact that since he had buried a clone, that indicated that his mother might be alive.
With several clues appearing one after the other, Jack ca to realize that his mother was not normal at all. She was actually a superhuman. And she was not simple at all. Of course, Jack had already related to the mories that were sealed being done by his mother. It was just that he was not sure, but that was what he believed.
All this while, although he was not showing it, he was really anticipating eting his mother. And the mont that the system gave him a hint that his mother was in the normal world, at that mont, his emotions lightened up.
So, the mont that he completed the system mission that was supposed to be completed in the stronghold domain, he imdiately got out of there. And right now, when he arrived here, he had not expected that he was going to receive this kind of surprise.
He had co over, intending to look for his mother. Since there were only 8 days left before the ti that he was given by the system elapsed, Jack had intended to use all his strength to look for information about his mother.
After all, it was not just the motivation that he got from the ti limit and the punishnt from the system, but instead, he was also looking forward to eting with his mother again. After all, it had already been 6 years since the last ti that he had seen her.
But it seed that this ti, lack was on his side. He did not need to look for her at all. But instead, she was just in front of him, just like that. He was not sure if he would have co out of the stronghold domain earlier, he would have t her earlier, but that was not sothing that he cared about right now.
"Look at you. You are already this old, but you are almost crying. You have grown up Jack, I can see that. But can you at least not cry? You know, if you cry, I'm going to cry as well." Anne stated with tears glittering in her eyes. It was clear that she was just as emotional as Jack was.
But of course this was to be expected. Anne had been away from her only son for over 6 years. So, how could she not miss her son? Additionally, during the 6 years, she did not know how her son was doing. So, she was extrely worried when she ca over, and was inford that Jack and Celine had gone on a vacation.
Although she wanted to see her son as soon as possible, she decided that she was going to give Jack his ti. Since he was on a vacation with Celine, she was not worried at all.
As for the matter of Jack being together with Celine, she had already been expecting that. After all, she was the one who had left behind the envelope, and she believed that Jack was going to follow the instructions that she had given him.
Just considering the relationship that was present between the two of them before she sealed away the mories of the two of them, she believed that there was no way that Jack was going to accept letting go of Celine.
As for Celine, she was not that much worried about her. After all, how was it possible that Katelyn was going to easily allow Celine to be with another person that easily? After all, they had already made a promise, and after that ti passed and Jack had not co over, Celine would be allowed to be with anyone that she wanted.
Of course it was due to this reason that Katelyn had imdiately refused the mont that Celine stated that she was having a person that she liked. At the ti, she did not know that the person that Celine was talking about was Jack.
When Anne was told about what had happened, to say the truth, she could not help but be amazed. These two youngsters had actually managed to et despite the fact that the mories of each other had been sealed, and they were separated from each other with a large distance.
It seed that the bond that existed between them was not that weak. And to think that they had fallen in love with each other from the very first mont that they t, though none of them wanted to admit, all this indicated that the two of them were fated to be together with each other.
Although Anne felt that it was a little bit regretful that she was not present during the ti that the two of them were getting engaged, but at least, they were not married yet. This ti, she was going to make sure that she attended the marriage between them.
After hearing what his mother had said, it was only then that Jack realized that although his emotions were finally under his control, his tears were not. It turned out that tears were flowing out of his eyes slowly, and he had not even noticed it.
Smiling, Jack wiped away the tears in his eyes. The thing that he did not want to see was to see his mother crying. And of course, although he was having a lot of questions that he wanted to ask his mother, he wasn't going to ask her anything like that right now.
Looking at his mother who looked regretful, Jack realized that just like before, she still loved him. Since that was the case, that implied that there had to be a good reason why she disappeared for all those years.
After realizing that Jack was calm, Anne finally shifted her attention and looked towards Celine. With a bright smile on her face, she opened her arms, while looking at Celine.
Celine imdiately understood what Anne was implying. So, she got out of her mother's embrace and rushed into Anne's.
"I missed you so much mother." Celine stated in a trembling voice.
"I missed you too." Anne stated with a smile. Then, with a teasing voice, she said, "And wow! Now not only have you grown, but you are no longer addressing as aunt, but as mother."
"Hehe. Well you see, I don't think that I can continue calling you aunt again. If I do that, I'm not sure if you are going to disappear again. Additionally, I do believe that being your daughter is better. So, I hope you don't mind having a daughter as well other than a son." Celine stated as she chuckled.
"Hahaha! Of course I don't mind that! But does your mother agree to that?" Anne asked back as she laughed loud.
"My mother already agreed to that. In fact, I'm pretty sure that if I did not beco your daughter, my mother would have definitely punished , and maybe I would have never gotten married." Celine stated mischievously.
When Katelyn heard what Celine was saying, she could not help but smile. She did not refute what Celine was saying, because that was what he was thinking at that ti, when she was trying to prevent Celine from getting together with another person.
Even if the ti that was given for Jack to co over to look for Celine elapsed, she was going to try and look for another reason to make Celine wait.
Jack observed everything from the side. At this mont, without him even realizing it, there was a smile on his face. It was a genuine smile, the very sa one that he had been having during his younger childhood, during the tis that he did not understand the situation that they were in while they were in the Alfonso family.
He was happy when he realized that the relationship between his mother and Celine was just as good as it was before. Although several years had already gone by he, it seed that the bond between them had not weakened at all. But instead, it had actually beco stronger.
So, how was it possible that he was not going to be happy about it? After all, who was going to be sad if the girl that they liked bonded together with their mother? That was definitely not him.
When Anne noticed that smile on his face when she looked over, she could not help but rember that ti when Jack was happy. At that ti, the trouble that she was facing in the Alfonso family was quite huge, but she was always happy when she saw her son laughing around.
She was having a lot of things that she wanted to talk to her son about. Although Katelyn had already inford her about a few things that had happened during the past few years, she wanted to hear everything from Jack's mouth directly.
After Anne and Celine finished hugging, Anne finally shifted her gaze and looked at Denali. And when Denali looked into Anne's eyes, she felt heart skipping a beat.
"It is nice seeing you all grown up Denali. You have completely exceeded my expectations." Anne said as she looked at Denali with the sa warm and cheerful smile
