When he arrived back in the normal world, Jack felt the changes in the atmosphere and in the air. He felt that he had suddenly co to a place that was very close to a dumpsite. He felt that the air that was outside of the stronghold domain was filled with a lot of dirt.
Nevertheless, after taking a few monts, he finally managed to get used to the air. He was not the only one considering that Celine and the other girls both felt the sa as him.
When they were coming out of the stronghold, they ca with the sa car that they had used during the ti that they were entering into the stronghold. It was the sa car that Jack had been rewarded by the system with.
Jack drove the car, looking at the familiar surroundings. It had been a while since he had been in the normal world, and say the truth, he was kind of missing this place.
After about 2 hours, they finally arrived at their destination. And when they got here, Celine did not wait, and imdiately rushed into the building. This was where her mother was. This was her mother's company, Angel's Prominence.
Jack simply shook his head as he followed behind her, followed by Samantha and Denali. And when he entered into the building, he realized that a lot of changes had occurred. It turned out that currently, the layout of the entire building had been changed completely.
Everything here was completely luxurious, showing that there was a lot of advancent that had been made during the ti that they were away. And when they arrived, of course, the majority of the people that had been here during the ti that the Angel's Prominence was still low, they imdiately recognized both Jack and Celine.
Of course there were so of them that noticed Denali, together with Samantha. There were several tis that Celine had co over here with both Denali and Samantha.
After he arrived at the office where Katelyn was located, Jack found that Celine was just standing at the entrance, looking inside the room dumbfoundedly. This made him a little surprised and worried at the sa ti.
"What is it? Is there sothing wrong?" Jack asked as he approached Celine. But even after he had asked, Celine did not respond at all. But instead, she continuously looked into the office, without making a move or any sound. It was as If she had been frozen in the sa position.
With a slight frown on his face, Jack approached. The mont that he arrived at the entrance of the office, he looked inside, wondering what it was that Celine had seen that made her behave in such a way. But the mont that he looked inside, he could not help but freeze.
At the sa ti, he suddenly felt that his heartbeat had suddenly accelerated. This was the sa thing that had happened during the ti that he had managed to reach the true human level.
At that ti, he did not understand what was happening. But right now, after looking into the office, he suddenly realized the reason why it had happened.
Without him even noticing it, tears began welling in his eyes. It was only when the tears were about to began flowing out of his eyes that he finally ca back to his senses and controlled himself, preventing himself from shedding the tears.
But since the tears were already there, he could only use the back of his hand to wipe the tears away. And at this mont, Jack felt completely emotional, and no matter how much he struggled, he did not have the capability of controlling his emotions fully.
Both Denali and Samantha ca over. While Samantha was confused while looking inside, and only gaining an epiphany a while later, Denali was different. When she was looking inside, other than reacting the sa way as Samantha, she looked confused.
For so reason, she felt that there was sothing that he had forgotten, and no matter how many tis she tried to rember, she could not. It was as if there was sothing that was actively preventing her from rembering a certain part of her mories.
Finally, after about 10 minutes, Jack was brought back to his senses by a prompt that had appeared in front of him. But of course, he did not care about the prompt, but he just looked inside the office. Then, after taking a deep breath, he stepped into the office.
At this mont, he was hoping that what he was seeing was not a dream. He was afraid that if he just rushed into this office, he was going to wake up, and what he was seeing was going to disappear. And that was definitely sothing that he was afraid of.
As he stepped into the office, Celine followed behind. Denali and Samantha looked at each other for a mont before they decided to co in as well. Although they seed to be understanding the situation, but they decided that they were not going to do anything at this point.
"Look at you. It seems that you have grown up quite quickly." A charming, cheerful, warm and familiar voice sounded in Jack's ears. And when he heard that voice, the emotions that he was trying so hard to control suddenly spiraled out of control.
When he realized that he was going to cry, Jack hurried forward. Without saying anything, he hugged the lady in front of him. And when he felt her body, he finally relaxed. At this mont, all the pressure that he was experiencing all this while finally disappeared.
All the sorrows that he had been experiencing for all those years, ca at once. But then again, consolation ca with the woman whom he was hugging, hugging him back.
"It seems that you have gone through a lot. I'm sorry for being incompetent and not doing my part well." The lady stated in a low voice, as if she was comforting a small child to sleep.
Celine observed everything from the side. Although she also wanted to go ahead and hug this lady, she did not do that, deciding to give Jack a chance.
She already understood how much Jack had gone through during all those years. Although he looked normal, she knew that he was hiding a lot of sorrow in his heart. And right now, looking at him, she could tell that finally, all those sorrows were going to be taken care of.
At this mont, Katelyn ca to her side and said in a low voice, "It seems that soone has already forgotten about her mother. Even after disappearing for all this while, she has not missed her mother at all."
When Celine heard that, she was reminded of the fact that when she ca in, she had given forgotten about her mother. Well, it was not that she had not missed her mother, but she was completely shocked by what she saw.
Of course she was mostly shocked with the appearance of this lady who was currently hugging Jack. She was definitely not soone that she was expecting to see the mont that she ca to the normal world.
"Mom, I missed you!" Celine stated in a low voice. She was speaking in a low voice because she did not want to interrupt the mont that Jack was having. In the next mont, she fell into her mother's embrace, feeling the familiar scent that she had missed all this while.
Looking at her daughter who was in her arms, Katelyn smiled. To say the truth, she had already been missing her daughter all this while. But, there was nothing that she could do. She did not possess any information of where she had gone together with Jack.
Additionally, there was no thod of communication that existed between them. She had tried several tis contacting Celine, but the call never went through. This had made her frustrated, and she attempted calling Jack, but the results were the sa.
Both Denali, and Samantha, when she tried calling them, it was still the sa result. This had made her extrely worried, but rembering the fact that her daughter was together with Jack, she decided to believe that there was nothing that was going to happen to them.
To her, she really cared about the two of them. So, if anything happened to any of them, she was not sure of the way that she was going to react. But right now, looking at her daughter who was safe and sound, looking even more extrely beautiful than the last ti that she had seen her, she believed that her daughter had been doing well for the past over one month.
"After this is over, you will have to tell where you guys went to. Although I can see that you are looking beautiful, and it seems that you were well taken care of, I have to know the reason why you decided that you were not going to communicate with during the ti that you are on that 'vacation'." Katelyn whispered in Celine's ears.
Celine simply nodded her head. To her, right now, it did not matter at all. Even if she inford her mother about the stronghold domain, she believed that there was nothing that was going to happen to any of them, considering that currently, Jack was the strongest person in the entire Stronghold domain.
It was only after about 5 minutes that finally, Jack gained a good grasp of his emotions. Although he had not fully cald down, but still, now, he could act quite normally.
Jack raised his head and looked at the lady in front of him. She looked extrely beautiful. The unique silver hair, those blue eyes that matched his own, that height, that familiar appearance, although it looked younger, she was definitely the one.
Not able to prevent himself anymore, Jack called out, "Mother…"
