Chapter 1969: Chapter 1963 Extraordinary Daily Life
Old classmates eting, yet it turned into a criminal case.
Although it’s quite subtle, once you consider that the person involved is Lu, it seems almost too normal.
But after this incident, Lu Ping’an had no interest in taking ow for a walk….. On the other hand, ow remained as carefree as always, completely unaffected.
The result was that the person was walked by the cat, touring the night market for food, which improved his mood quite a bit….. Just like ow, food held little significance for Lu these days, purely a matter of taste and desire.
As for gluttony, if consequences aren’t considered, it indeed is a pretty good way to de-stress.
“…..I see, okay, I got it.”
Putting down the phone, the police station specifically inford Lu Ping’an about the follow-up.
The investigation went smoothly, just like how that woman was almost transparent before Lu Ping’an, there are many investigative thods in this world, once the identity of the criminal is confird, any secret can be uncovered.
She is a bronze mber of the Demon Resistance Organization. It sounds quite normal, but if “demons” refers to all extraordinary beings and visitors from the Foreign Domain perceived as monsters, demons, and ghosts, then the nature of this organization becos quite dubious.
This is an out-and-out extremist organization, but to confront the monsters and ghosts in their eyes, relying solely on technology isn’t enough….. those monsters, on the tech tree, actually crush ordinary people of the old era.
The only way to counter the extraordinary is with the extraordinary….. so beings delightfully fulfill this need.
“Poison and daggers able to kill professionals…. Do these people actually think they are technological products?”
“I guess ow, they know ow, just pretending not to know ow!”
A cat’s brain isn’t slow, just mostly too lazy to use it.
Even though many of the mbers know they are using extraordinary power, they pretend not to know, because…
“What they oppose isn’t really the extraordinary, but….. change.”
Longing for the old era is one of their rare common traits.
“And reality ow, they must be having a hard ti too.”
ow, lying on Lu’s body, dozing off, actually doesn’t care too much….. A cat full of savage instincts doesn’t care much about others, as long as anyone dares to reach out their claws at her, she will naturally kill them.
You have your grievances, what does it have to do with ? Besides, could it be worse than , ow, the only one in my household book?
However, not caring doesn’t an not understanding… She can understand the negative extremities born in despair and hopelessness better than anyone else.
“Cat.” Lu Ping’an started to speak.
“Alright ow, we have nothing to do lately anyway….. It will be very bloody though.”
“No problem. The rotten parts should be cut out early to avoid infecting other areas.”
“That works ow.”
What mobilizes a lazy-thinking cat is obviously simple and straightforward action….. Lu Ping’an would not send an assassin to investigate a case, nor would he let a real beast out for display and amusent.
More intelligence naturally flowed to Lu Ping’an.
Extremists are mostly those who are dissatisfied with their lives….. Most people have no reason to go to extres if they can live well.
Class Leader Zhao’s experiences are heartbreaking to hear.
Her fall from grace wasn’t rely due to investnt failure but her being targeted by criminal extraordinary beings as a wealthy individual with a small fortune.
Not only was her family wealth swindled clean, but her original ten-plus family mbers were reduced to less than a household book, and the criminals haven’t been identified yet. In her despair, she encountered the preaching of extre ideology.
What followed was only natural….. Most of those she killed were extraordinary with so evil deeds, but most didn’t deserve death.
Extremism, like fla, once touched, only burns brighter and can’t stop until it consus itself.
Under the resonance of the information cocoon room, indiscriminate killing is probably only a matter of ti.
So things, she lied about as well, she knew Lu Ping’an was a top-notch extraordinary, but due to his low-profile environnt, she didn’t realize her “weapons” wouldn’t work on Lu Ping’an.
She intended to “make a contribution,” but when it ca to talking about the past, she ultimately gave up.
What stopped her? Was it seeing Lu Ping’an and rembering that extraordinary beings also need to go to school, need to eat, have their own lives and family mbers as ordinary people do?
What was her end? In the end, there’s not much to say, the one who kills will be killed.
Lu Ping’an didn’t want to intervene, nor would he, she deserved her fate…. However, those who incited her, they need to pay the price.
“Sotis, I also hesitate, whether spreading the extraordinary is the right thing to do, given too many people’s ego expands once they gain power…”
“What ow does it concern you, wasn’t it already like this before you appeared ow. We at least gave the weaker a chance to resist.”
“Tsk. Don’t worry, I think the sa.”
Lu Ping’an’s eyes remained calm as always, unforgetting the past and unregretful of the present, he always had a clear sense of self-positioning.
I am not God; I cannot handle everything alone; I am just a piece swept along in the great trends of the tis….. well, though I am a god, I’m none of the Creator’s level, and facing the tide of floodwater, I’m rely a small boat able to sowhat withstand the wave.
Yet, he indeed wondered, pondering if he could do sothing?
If truly everyone had guns, would it be completely safe, would it eradicate extraordinary cris? Even in the old era, even in another world line, cri would still occur where it’s bound to.
What truly reduces cri rates and protects the weaker ones is indeed a strong “official,” a tight “monitoring network”, and to ensure criminals are punished, only then can cri be effectively deterred.
“Solve everything with the extraordinary? How possible is that, humanity’s issues can only be healed by humanity, and if humanity cannot be reached, then through physical….. severe punishnts and strict laws might just be what this era needs most.”
The young man shook his head; perhaps he could do sothing, but the consequences of acting recklessly are sothing nobody can afford.
“Think positively, at least the local cri rate has already dropped significantly…..”
As Lu Ping’an walked by, seeing most people at ease, not too vigilant when walking on the streets… this undoubtedly is the best testant to the excellent social security status above what’s standard.
Lu Ping’an started from the Special Service Team back then, the frequency of public security cases was much more severe than now.
“Perhaps, I could support the local police station and Bureau of Anomaly Managent… My girlfriend is the head of local law enforcent, seems like I can mix official with personal affairs once.”
At this mont, Lu Ping’an recalled his encounter on a planet under so “Firebird” wings, with those terrifyingly powerful Law Enforcent Puppet Robots.
“I seem to have the complete set of terrifying robot….. cough, cough, security robot technology here, why not play around with it?”
After so consideration, he temporarily decided to abandon it but put it into his work schedule.
On one hand, he just took over this area, it’s better not to stir up too much trouble attracting unwanted attention. Additionally, since it involves livelihood matters, sufficient caution is necessary, at least until completely mature and reliable technology is obtained.
“Cat…..” Yet, at so point, the cat had run away.
Presumably soon, that “Demon Resistance Organization” will completely beco history.
If you can’t manage the world, then just manage what’s in front of you for now.
