The dical staff were extrely alert, almost rushing in from outside the second Daisy Ginger started vomiting.
"What happened?"
The nurse, looking fierce, stood in front of Daisy Ginger and Edward Stephens, demanding an explanation.
"..." Daisy Ginger wiped her mouth and glanced at the man beside her, whose face was dark as coal. In a sowhat weak tone, she explained to the nurse, "It’s nothing. I just felt a bit nauseous and suddenly vomited."
"You have a mild concussion right now, but the instrunt we brought isn’t very precise, so you’ll have to go back to the hospital to asure again later." The nurse sternly eyed the disobedient patient, "You better not move around too much, or you’ll suffer if any aftereffects remain!"
Daisy Ginger felt complicated emotions.
George Stephens and Ryan Smith both fell from that cave, and they were perfectly fine. How did she end up with a concussion?
It’s unfair, she was definitely lighter than Ryan Smith!
"I know, I know," Daisy Ginger replied, "I won’t move around. Trust ."
The nurse gave her a look that said "I absolutely don’t trust you," glanced at the dark-faced man, who seed slightly intimidated by his blackened countenance, and left without saying anything more, with a furrowed brow.
Daisy Ginger, hiding in her hospital bed, secretly laughed for a mont before reaching out to hook her fingers with the man’s slender ones.
The man had beautiful fingers, well-proportioned like an artist’s masterpiece, but at the mont, they were scratched by leaves, covered in scars and wounds.
Daisy Ginger lifted her head, looked at the scars on the man’s face, and gently stroked his cheek as she softly said, "You’ve beco not as handso."
"So, you just like my face."
He responded expressionlessly.
Daisy Ginger couldn’t help but want to laugh, but the laughter made her feel dizzy. Clutching his hand, she whispered, "Alright. I really need to sleep now, I’m a bit tired."
Edward Stephens looked at her pale complexion and said nothing further, rely tightening his slender fingers slightly, enclosing them within the palm of his hand.
He gazed deeply at her, the darkness in his obsidian eyes concealed from Daisy Ginger.
She probably couldn’t imagine how he got through that night.
Returning to the film set late at night, finding out she was missing, experiencing extre emotional swings.

Daisy Ginger was sent to Tsing City People’s Hospital for a full set of examinations.
Happily, apart from a few scratches, she was only diagnosed with a mild concussion.
However, as the only injured individual, she was kept in the hospital for further observation.
As soon as Robert Stephens left, the film crew resud work. Elena Raven, as the second female lead, couldn’t leave and only secretly called to inquire about Daisy Ginger’s condition and how she was doing.
She also inford her that filming would finish in a week.
Director Carter seed eager to avoid any more mishaps, rushing the progress considerably.
Daisy Ginger actually wasn’t in too much discomfort, but she missed Erin Ginger a little.
With Edward Stephens caring for her in the hospital, she felt embarrassed to call Jas Shelton to bring Erin over.
The doctor prescribed a week of hospitalization for her. Although she wanted to leave early, she was intimidated by Edward Stephens’ authority and had to stay for the full week.
That afternoon, Edward Stephens went out to get her so food, and Daisy Ginger was playing on Edward’s phone for a while when she suddenly felt a cold breeze as the door was slightly pushed open.
She turned her head and looked at a pair of pitch-black eyes through the crack in the door.
