To be honest, even though Daisy Ginger is sowhat "familiar" with this kid, seeing such a pair of eyes still gives her a horror movie feeling.

The child squeezed through a small crack in the door and peeked in quietly. Realizing that Daisy had noticed, they quickly shut the door with a "bang."

Daisy: "..."

A few minutes later, the child seed to have gathered their courage and poked their little head in, their big eyes staring at Daisy at the door.

What is he trying to do?

Daisy felt a bit puzzled and said, "Little beggar, are you trying to scare again?"

And this ti he ca in person, not bringing bugs and snakes.

Sigh, she thought that grilling snakes for him would establish a revolutionary friendship.

"..." George Stephens glared at her, then pushed the door open and entered the room.

Daisy sat on the hospital bed, watching this little guy walk over. He seed to have co alone, as there was no other sound outside the door.

"Little beggar," Daisy couldn’t help but scold him, "Why did you co out alone again? If you get lost this ti, I won’t be able to find you. Be good, okay?"

George wasn’t happy hearing her call him little beggar over and over, and he retorted, "I have a na."

Daisy, eager for a kid to play with, saw George approach her and playfully teased, "You’re not called little beggar, then what’s your na?"

George looked at her with disdain, his eyes full of contempt.

This smart and determined little kid had long stopped playing such childish gas.

Daisy realized she asked a silly question. The Stephens family genes are exceptional, and the children born are all way smarter than average. Although George is only three, he won’t humor her like other three-year-olds would.

She regretfully stretched out her hand and ruffled the little one’s round head. "What are you doing here? If your teacher finds out I took you, she’ll skin alive."

George’s dark eyes looked at her, "Why are you in the hospital?"

Daisy laughed and replied, "Isn’t it for saving you, little rascal?"

One mont calling him little beggar, the next little rascal, this woman is probably never going to call him by his na.

George furrowed his tender brow and corrected, "You fell down by yourself, it has nothing to do with ."

"Oh, you little ingrate," Daisy picked him up and placed him on the bed, sitting him on her lap, facing him, "Say it again, how did I fall down?"

"..." George stared at Daisy for a mont, then turned his head away with a light "hmph."

The little rascal.

Daisy couldn’t help but laugh, "Did you sneak over here to see because you missed ? I didn’t know you liked so much."

George’s little face flushed red. He looked at Daisy in disbelief, seemingly not understanding how she could say such shaless words.

Daisy was amused by his shocked expression, pinched his soft little cheeks, and laughed non-stop.

"Do you like or not, hmm? Do you like ?" Daisy teased him while rubbing his face; George, unable to stand the harassnt, struggled to escape her grasp, jumped to the ground, and rubbed his reddened cheeks hard.

"I just ca over to ask, when are you going to give the toy you promised?"

"Just that?"

"Just that." George stubbornly replied.

He couldn’t let this bad woman get too pleased! He contemplated seriously.
