Daisy Ginger was a bit speechless.

But seeing his scruffy appearance, she decided to be the bigger person and not stoop to his level.

The nurse sister brought over an infrared thermoter and beeped it on Edward Stephens’ neck.

She looked down and said, "Sir, you have a fever of 39 degrees. Also, your wounds haven’t been treated. Please follow to the front for so disinfection."

Edward Stephens said coldly, "I’m fine."

Even with the pretty nurse sister, this guy was neither gentle nor considerate.

Daisy Ginger clicked her tongue lightly in her heart and said, "Nurse, this guy has thick skin and flesh and can take a beating. Just get him so cold dicine to take, and I’ll disinfect his superficial wounds for him later."

Edward Stephens curled his index finger and knocked hard on her forehead, his tone unfriendly: "You lie down and don’t move, I can disinfect myself."

Wasn’t she just trying to help him out? Besides, no matter what the nurse said, he wouldn’t go out.

Daisy Ginger rubbed her forehead, feeling that she wasn’t that dizzy before, but after getting knocked by Edward Stephens, her head started spinning.

This guy, who knows what he’s sulking about, but he sure has a heavy hand.

The nurse looked at Edward Stephens, then at Daisy Ginger, kept a stern face, went back to report to the head nurse, and returned with so hydrogen peroxide and fever dicine for Edward Stephens.

"Apply it once over your wounds, and take two fever pills." Then she pointed at Daisy Ginger, "Lie down and don’t move, be careful not to throw up."

Daisy Ginger responded with a smile, "Got it, I’m very obedient."

The little nurse Coco didn’t think so.

In her eyes, these two are very troubleso patients, not only colluding with each other but also not following doctor’s orders.

If it weren’t for Edward Stephens’ status, she would have taken him away from Daisy Ginger ages ago.

After the little nurse left, Edward Stephens took so hot water and swallowed the fever dicine.

Daisy Ginger lay on her side, looking at the man’s scarred face, curled her lips into a light smile, "It’s all your fault, the nurse sister dislikes now."

Edward Stephens lowered his eyes at her, "What, you can’t even let won go?"

Daisy Ginger couldn’t help but laugh, whispering, "You’re jealous of even won?"

Edward Stephens gazed at her, his eyes slightly shifting.

She lay on the hospital bed, her black hair spread out. Due to her injuries, her skin looked pale, and her lips lost their color, making her charming appearance even more pitifully endearing.

All in all, more enticing than her usual aloof deanor.

Her lips held a helpless smile, as if no matter what he said or did, she could always tolerate him.

As if he could glimpse her faint love.

Edward Stephens always knew how to take a mile when given an inch, and that’s just what he did.

Leaning down, he cupped the back of Daisy Ginger’s head with his hand, giving her an unexpected and extrely lingering kiss,

After a while, Daisy Ginger collapsed onto the bed due to lack of oxygen.

She panted weakly and in disbelief, her lips swollen from his kiss, staring at him accusingly for abusing a patient.

"I have a concussion," Daisy Ginger complained, "and you’re still so unsympathetic."

Just now her vision had darkened, nearly passing out from his kiss.

The man carelessly wiped his lips with his thumb, saying lightly, "Who told you to owe?"

Owe what?

Owe a kiss?

Clearly, he’s the one with ulterior motives, looking at everyone maliciously.

Daisy Ginger was about to continue debating with him when she suddenly felt nauseous, "Ugh," and hugged the trash can to throw up.
