Chapter 1107
Chloe Collins looked down at the water and dication in his hand, her gaze eting his, "It hurts right now."
The man’s gaze deepened, "Take this first, I have a way to make you feel a little better later."
So, she took the pill, put it in her mouth, swallowed it dry without drinking any water.
Looking at him with a dazed and drunk expression, she suddenly spoke, "It still hurts."
The man laughed, "The dicine doesn’t take effect that quickly."
Then, pretending to be angry, he stared at her, "Dare you drink that much again next ti?"
Chloe shook her head, "Not sure."
He sighed softly, "Lean back."
She obeyed, leaning back and looking at him with heavy eyelids.
The man extended his hand and gently massaged either side of her temples.
A soothing sensation swept over her, Chloe felt her nerves relax.
"I find this way more convenient."
She said, then cuddled up to him and laid her head on his leg, shutting her eyes.
The man tensed montarily, his hand movent gradually slowing.
Eventually, he relaxed, an indulgent smile lighting up his eyes.

The next day, at the girls’ dormitory in Capitol University of Information Science, Redbud Dorms.
Manie woke up groaning with a headache and her three roommates instantly rose from their desks, each holding sothing, and started to help her.
"Manie, are you okay?" Roommate A asked solicitously.
Manie frowned in silence, then finally asked, "How did I get back last night?"
"They said all the automation students got drunk, none of them were sober. The physics students who were having a dinner party in the next building brought you back. They were pretty good." Student B explained.
"The physics departnt..."
Recalling fragnts of the night before, Manie rembered being sared with cream by the students of Class 1, her darts beca less accurate... and then...
She bolted upright, rembering that she had bumped into the Grim! She had even grabbed his clothes, but later, because she was too drunk, she fell asleep.
Regret washed over her. She took the water that her roommate handed her and took a sip.
"Manie, um, I heard that you had a drinking and dart competition with an automation junior and... lost?" Roommate C asked hesitantly.
"Stop joking around, Manie losing? Manie is an unbeatable champion," Roommate A said.
"I’m not just babbling, the automation junior was chatting about it in the group chat. Just check it yourself, there’s even a video," Roommate C defended herself.
Manie was taken aback, her eyes blazing with a dangerous spark, "Who posted the video!"
"It... it was the junior."
"Delete it!"
"Manie, it’s hard to delete... it’s already... spread everywhere."
Manie frowned, checking it herself with her phone.
As expected, the video of her defeat was spread all over the school network, even affecting the voting! She had been 3,000 votes ahead of Chloe Collins, but now it was down to just over a thousand!
