Chapter 1108

Roommate C muttered, "But, even Manie’s Flying Darts lost... before, she was unbeatable in this area."

"Could you even aim accurately if you were as drunk as her?" Roommate B glared at her and motioned for her to quiet.

Roommate C swallowed the truth that was at the tip of her tongue.

Manie York sat around in a daze for a while, unable to figure things out.

After a while, she stood up, a chilly murderous aura emanated from her as she said coldly, "Have the newcors that we recruited yesterday assemble imdiately in the practice room and wait for !"

Her eyes flashed with intent to kill, she must win the Welcoming Party for New Students this ti!

Roommate C asked, "Manie, do you plan on only using the newcors?"

Manie stopped her electric toothbrush, her voice muffled as she answered, "Of course not, the newcors are just backup dancers, they aren’t the main attraction."

"So you’re gonna need to invite people from the circle?" her roommates’ eyes lit up.

With a distinguished look in her eyes, Manie said leisurely, "I guess so, what else is there to watch at the party if not? There’s a rule about inviting external helpers, isn’t it just for this?"

"That’s great! What about inviting that popular actor, who participated in the ’Constant Joy’ show with you last ti! Oh, I’m so excited that I even forgot his real na!"

Manie York’s expression was tranquil, "He, other than acting, his singing is a bit weak. I need to think a bit more about this."

After a while, she said, "I have a class this morning, have them gather at one in the afternoon. I will have to leave at four o’clock, they should try to practice by themselves now, don’t waste ti later teaching them."

"Understood!"

"By the way, I heard that Chloe Collins is having trouble recruiting people, she might just have to go on stage and sing a song by herself."

"That’s so sad, none of the boys in Class 1 have any talent, they can’t even help."

"She just got here, it’s normal that she doesn’t have a good network yet."

-

In a tiered classroom of the Teaching Building, students were attending an advanced mathematics class.

Most students were highly engaged, only a girl at the back was slacking off.

Chloe Collins was looking at her phone, checking a ssage Charles just sent.

[Who’s this guy?]

In the photo, a guy was chatting and laughing with Lydia Lowell.

She replied in three words: I don’t know.

[Do so digging, I will get you grilled fish.]

[You want to bribe with just a grilled fish?]

[What do you want? I’ll give you anything you want.]

[Cry for , let see.]

[That’s too much!.jpg]

Chloe smiled faintly. When she put away her phone, the class had just ended.

So, she just drifted through the lengthy class.

In the afternoon, Chloe went to the Comic Club.

The main quarters of the club was in a large classroom in an old teaching building. Other clubs with similar lack of popularity surrounded it.

Upon entering, one could see all kinds of rchandise and posters from famous comics. They were drawn by the club’s mbers themselves and were actually quite good.

The interior was comfortably furnished, resembling a warm ho, surrounded by a variety of comic books.

The new and old comics were neatly classified, a blessing for those with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

A rather cozy club; it seems she made the right choice.

As soon as she stepped foot inside, Club President Andrew and so others noticed her and imdiately broke into joyful smiles.

A group of them ca over, greeting her warmly.

She walked over and noticed a half-finished comic book on the table.

"Is this a comic you guys are making?"

"Yes, it’s our comic." Club President Andrew chuckled, "The Comic Club has a target of producing one comic book every term. We’re currently discussing it, do you want to join in?"
