Enduring the excruciating pain, Dominique focused his attention on Athena.

"Athena, are you okay? Are you hurt sowhere?" Dominique asked her worriedly, his eyes checking her for possible injury.

Athena finally returned to her senses after that life-threatening incident. She just found herself engulfed by Dominique’s arms. He was lying on the floor while Athena was on top of him, being secured by his embrace.

She gazed up only to see Dominique’s worried look. And at the sa ti, he appeared to be in pain but she didn’t pay more attention to it. Instead, Athena blinked in surprise. She didn’t expect to be saved by Dominique.

’Sigh... Of all the people who could save , why did it have to be him?’ Athena didn’t want to owe him anything.

"I’m fine," Athena nonchalantly responded as she tried to get up. Ashton imdiately assisted her to stand up.

Lanny also ran in her direction. "Athena, are you hurt?!" She scanned Athena’s body from head to toe, making sure she didn’t get injured.

"No," Athena calmly replied. Falling from that height was nothing to her. She even jumped off the bridge once.

anwhile, Sasha and the other crew checked on Dominique who was still on the ground. He couldn’t move his right hand.

"Dom! Oh no... you got bruises... and your elbow..." Sasha’s voice was trembling in fear.

Athena reflexively cast a look at Dominique’s arm when she heard Sasha’s panicking voice.

’He got hurt after saving ... but I didn’t ask him to do that. It’s his fault.’ Athena thought to herself, narrowing her eyes on Dominique. She didn’t want to worry about him. She shouldn’t be concerned about him!

Soon, the standby dical team approached Dominique. They checked his injured arm and applied so first aid. His elbow probably got dislocated.

"We need to bring Mr. Smith to the hospital for proper treatnt. He needs to get an X-ray." The dical staff declared to them.

"Miss Athena, you should go to the hospital as well. Let’s get you examined too," Bella suggested.

Lanny, on the other hand, had a different concern. She turned to everyone as she spoke up with a stern cold voice.

"Call the police. We need to investigate this accident! This is negligence on your part. How co you didn’t check or secure the harness?! I want to find out who is fucking responsible for this accident?!" Lanny’s words threatened the crew. They were so guilty for what happened.

How unfortunate for this accident to happen on their first day of shooting?

"All the props man and the crew can’t leave this venue. We have to interrogate everyone!" she added. She just hoped no one instigated this accident. Because if soone did, she would make them pay.

"Ashton, can you please accompany Athena to the hospital? I have to stay behind and investigate the real cause of this accident." Lanny was determined to unfold the truth. She had a nagging feeling about this.

Soon, the dical team transported Dominique and Athena to a nearby hospital. They were accompanied by Sasha and Ashton.

anwhile, Lanny had already called the police to investigate what happened. As they waited for the police, Lanny checked Athena’s harness.

’This harness doesn’t appear worn out in the slightest. How could it break so suddenly?’ Lanny mused silently, her mind racing with suspicions.

A chilling glint flickered in her eyes as she made a startling observation. ’Damn it. This could be intentional. It’s possible soone tampered with the harness, cutting a portion of it, causing it to break under Athena’s weight during certain movents.’

As the crew mbers were gathered in the set, one of them sneaked out, going to the bathroom to make a report.

lody booked a room in that resort while hiding herself from everyone. It did not take long before she received a ssage from her accomplice.

[ Ma’am, Bad news! Soone called the police to investigate what happened. What should I do now? Everyone will be interrogated! ]

lody’s eyes widened after reading the ssage. But she was more curious about what happened to Athena. In her mind, she imagined Athena getting lots of bruises and broken bones.

[ What happened to the Bitch? Did she break so bones? Send the video of the accident! ]

lody bit her nail as she waited for his reply. She was pissed off since her father refused to grant her request of removing Athena from this product launch. So in the end, she resorted to doing this just to get her revenge.

Her phone beeped once again. She quickly opened the ssage. She couldn’t wait to see the video taken by her accomplice.

lody frowned and played the video clip he sent. In that footage, she witnessed how Athena fell after her harness broke. But to her disappointnt, Dominique rushed in Athena’s direction to catch her. He succeeded in protecting her. But in return, he was the one who got hurt.

"Damn it! So useless!" lody threw her phone on her bed after watching the video. She stood up, pacing back and forth across the room. She was thinking what she should do next.

[ Shit! Who called the police? ] lody was both anxious and annoyed. Athena didn’t get injured. And now, soone has involved the police.

lody’s eyes set ablaze as she recalled Lanny. She was also a pain in her ass. She hated both Lanny and Athena.

The doctor was done examining Athena. She didn’t get any severe injury aside from a bruise on her hand. Her body landed on Dominique’s arms so she had been secured by him.

On the other hand, the doctor was still examining Dominique’s injury. His broken elbow looked a little bit serious. The doctor was checking the severity of his injury, and whether he needed to undergo an operation or not.

Sasha had been pacing back and forth outside the examination room, worrying about Dominique. She looked so distressed.

That was the ti Athena approached Sasha. She was afraid that Sasha would get suspicious of her or even get jealous because Dominique saved her.

Sasha stayed silent. She just looked at her with complicated emotions. Part of her was jealous of Athena. She was also surprised when Dominique rushed to save her.

’Hmm. So if Sasha has nothing to do with my accident, who is the real culprit?’ Athena mused to herself.

For now, she felt relieved because Sasha didn’t appear to be jealous of her. Athena managed to divert Sasha’s attention away from her. She was now thinking about the possible suspect who caused the accident.

Surprisingly, she listened and believed Athena’s speculation.

’Dominique got injured because of this. I have to find out the culprit behind the accident. I will make them pay.’ Sasha swore to herself.
