Eiravyn threw his fierce gaze towards Caspian, as if his vision could cut through him.

"Then spill it!"

Caspian sighed as if fed up with Eiravyn’s behavior. "My king, if you rember correctly we were about going to the royal court — you specifically asked to reschedule for today." Caspian comnted, his brows raised, hoping his king would get the ssage, but Eiravyn rely looked at him.

"So?" Eiravyn asked.

Caspian groaned frustratedly because he knew Eiravyn was doing this on purpose — he knew very well what Eiravyn wanted him to do, but he was not willing.

"We need to leave!" Caspian was finally fed up and scread, startling Serena with his sudden outburst as his emotions were all over the place.

Eiravyn shrugged nonchalantly at his words, unbothered by his right-hand man’s anger. He cocked his head to the side.

"Then, what are you still doing here? Go keep the old n company you little bastard."

"Fuck it! Eiravyn!" Caspian suddenly yelled.

Eiravyn shook his head furiously and Serena froze; this was the first conversation with nasty swearing in her life. And that was the very first ti she heard soone other than herself had called Eiravyn by his na. She held her breath and hoped the situation would not escalate any further.

If only she knew this conversation was considered very normal to what goes down between these two n every other day, she wouldn’t have been so worried... cough, cough...

"There’s barely anything I can do there and you know it. You were the one who fixed the date to today so you need to be there." Caspian furiously cried.

"Right now I think I might grow bald even before having kids with the amount of work load you throw my way." Caspian grumbled to himself but Eiravyn heard him anyways.

Eiravyn sighed, "what will you even do with that useless hair? It’s not like the more hair you have, will make you have sense."

Caspian was about to protest but Eiravyn cut him off even before he could form the words.

"Go, go! You’ve been acting up for a little bastard, you and I know you enjoy this council etings more than anyone for your own little amusent." Eiravyn said with an eyeroll.

Serena could not help but interrupt in the conversation when she saw that none of the n was willing to back down for the other, she tugged on Eiravyn’s robe lightly to get his attention.

And Eiravyn went still when he felt gentle tugging on the side of his robe.

His gaze flew down to et Serena’s eye, instantly softening when he saw the worried look on her face. "Eiravyn, you should go." Serena mumbled in a low voice.

She didn’t want to be the one to keep him here when he had things he needs to do.

But Eiravyn was not ready to leave her alone what if she tried to escape this ti and really succeeded in doing so.

"I will, after I take you back to your room." She heard Eiravyn say, before he turned to glare at Caspian who was still standing there.

Caspian rolled his eyes when he saw how Eiravyn was treating Serena, and mumbled in a low voice, "I don’t rember he was this sweet with us." He said and scoffed.

Eiravyn turned to him when he heard his voice, "what are you still doing here?" He questioned, his eyes narrowing at his right-hand man.

"Okay, okay." Caspian raised his hands high as if in surrender as he stord out of the garden, muttering curses under his breath at Eiravyn.

When Caspian stepped out of the garden, and he started to walk down the corridor, still cursing Eiravyn in his mind.

"If you want to bad mouth , ensure you have walked to a great distance." Eiravyn’s voice sounded in Caspian mind through the mind-link.

He sighed, "get the fuck out of my mind. You are raping my mind!" Caspian yelled back through the mind-link and Eiravyn shook his head.

Caspian continued his walk in the quiet and empty corridor as he anticipated the eting with the elders today.

He always loved the council eting because of how fun it is when Eiravyn provoked the elders to madness, he loved every bit of it, the loudness, and the craziness the council etings brings.

Reason why he always looked forward to it, he had just wanted Eiravyn’s permission to go through with the eting since he was sure Eiravyn would be busy with his mate and that was why he went to the garden.

Caspian chucked in a evilly inwardly as instead of him to make his way to the royal court he went to the kitchen instead.

He turned to look in the direction of the royal courtroom where the etings took place before making his way to the royal kitchen to see what the chef had for him. ’The court eting today would be very interesting.’

He humd excitedly to a song as he got closer to the kitchen.

When he eventually reached the kitchen.

The royal kitchen was bustling with activities and the maids and servants were all cooking for the ceremony today but Caspian did not mind the noise, he went straight inside to et the royal chef who was busy with turning a pot of steaming stew and also chopping vegetables that will probably be ingredients for niche.

When the royal chef turned to check the vegetable, she saw Caspian leaning in the kitchen island, and the woman’s brows arched.

"What do you want this ti Caspian?" The woman asked on seeing him, and Caspian shrugged his shoulders lightly.

"Just my usual, I’m not here to bug you today." Caspian said and smiled sexily at the woman.

The woman sighed, she turned out to be the woman who first welcod Serena, Ember.

Ember sighed, "don’t tell it’s the court eting today?" She asked but went inside the kitchen after about twenty minutes the woman ca back with a mysterious box.

Caspian smiled, showing his white pearl fangs as he reached for the lid of the box to open it when he saw what was inside, Caspian looked up at Ember.

"You really outdid yourself this ti." He praised, but Ember just shook her head, she could already tell that the elders are in for a shock today.
