But in the next second, the young guard’s tone turned cold. "While you may be a buyer from the Yulong Residential Area, this is the private Yulong King Villa District. You are absolutely forbidden from approaching this area without the owner to guide you. This was stipulated in the agreent. So, I suggest you leave imdiately. Otherwise, don’t bla for being forceful!"
This young guard was responsible for the security of the Yulong King Villa District; he wasn’t comparable to the relaxed old n who typically manned gates. He earned a monthly salary of thirty thousand, having defeated countless experts to be selected for this position. He was even more familiar with the rules here than Zhang Xiaoran was.
"This..." Zhang Xiaoran’s face flushed crimson. Although her family also owned a villa, it was a secondhand one. They were fundantally different from the residents of the Yulong King Villa District, and this guard was specifically tasked with protecting those residents. Besides, there were thousands, if not tens of thousands, of buyers in the Jiangzhong Yulong Residential Area. It was perfectly normal for this young guard not to show her any deference!
"It was them... they wanted to bring us in to take a look," Zhang Xiaoran said in a flash of inspiration, shifting all the responsibility onto Qin Long.
The young guard scrutinized Qin Long carefully. "And you are, sir?" Looking at Qin Long, the guard felt a sudden, strong sense of familiarity and quickly stepped forward. anwhile, Zhang Xiaoran and the others waited smugly, expecting Qin Long to make a fool of himself.
"Qin Long," he said with a wave of his hand.
"Qin..." Upon hearing the na, the young guard froze on the spot. A powerful figure had suddenly descended upon the Jiangzhong Yulong Residential Area. The rumor was that a certain "Young Master Qin," though on crutches, had boldly spent fifty million to buy the Yulong King Villa District and the Yulong Terrace Compound. The man before him, Qin Long, was also on crutches and shared the sa na. It was highly likely he was that very sa esteed figure.
"Oh my, it’s Young Master Qin!" The guard’s expression changed in an instant. "My sincerest apologies, I failed to recognize one of our own! So sorry, so sorry!" he exclaid, bowing and scraping before Qin Long with the utmost respect.
Seeing this, Zhang Xiaoran was dumbstruck, Zhang ilan was stunned, and the entire Zhang family was left with their jaws on the floor. This young guard, who had shown no regard for even Zhang Xiaoran, was now acting so deferentially toward Qin Long.
Could it be that Qin Long really bought the Yulong King Villa? Is he far wealthier than Zhang Daojun?
Looking at the guard’s attitude, the difference between them was like heaven and earth. Everyone’s gaze once again turned toward the nearby Yulong King Villa District.
Perhaps only the true owner of this villa would command such courtesy from the guard.
"No need to apologize. You did your job well," Qin Long said nonchalantly, waving a hand at the guard. "I’m just showing my relatives around my villa. You can go back to your patrol."
"Right away! Young Master Qin, please let us know if you need anything. We’ll get back to our duties now. By the way, there’s an intercom inside the villa. Just speak into it, and we’ll arrive promptly." The young guard nodded with extre courtesy before taking his leave.
As they watched him walk away, the Zhang family mbers were all in a state of shock. A storm of disbelief churned in their hearts.
Can it be true that Zhang ilan’s family really lives here? But she clearly said they didn’t have a new house. And based on her personality, there’s no way she’d be so low-key about it.
Qin Long had no ti to bother with the Zhang family’s thoughts. He simply took out his key card.
"Qin Long, you must have spent a pretty penny to put on this show, didn’t you?" Suddenly, Zhang Xiaoran burst out laughing, glaring at him in annoyance. "You’re really sothing else! Truly amazing!"
"He actually paid soone to trick us?" the other Zhang family mbers murmured in shock.
Tang Xuewu, however, shot Zhang Xiaoran a dark look. "Cousin, just because you can’t afford it doesn’t an other people can’t!" Tang Xuewu was getting tired of her cousin’s incessant and irrational behavior. She was being absolutely outrageous.
"Are you talking about Qin Long?" Zhang Xiaoran retorted. "He can afford this? With that toy card in his hand? You don’t actually believe that’s the key card for the villa, do you?" In the next second, she lunged forward and snatched the card from Qin Long’s pocket. A mischievous smile touched Qin Long’s lips, and he didn’t stop her.
"Qin Long, I could have let it slide if you were just pretending to show us around," Zhang Xiaoran sneered, waving the purple card in her hand. "But now you’re using this piece of plastic junk as a key card? Do you really take us for three-year-olds? I’m going to expose your little sche right now and see if this thing can actually open the villa’s door!"
As she spoke, she strode coldly toward the main gate. All eyes were on her. She waved the card in front of the villa’s door. The Zhang family saw nothing out of the ordinary happen.
DING!
Then, a crisp chi echoed, and the villa door slowly swung open.
"The door has an automatic sensor! It’s so high-tech..."
"It must be motion-activated, right?"
"No, it was because Ranran swiped that purple card..."
The jaws of the Zhang family mbers nearly hit the ground. Standing by the door she herself had opened, Zhang Xiaoran looked utterly mortified. She held the purple key card as if it were a sculpture, appearing dazed and wooden.
"Don’t tell you’ve never even seen a sensor-activated key card before?" Qin Long glanced disdainfully at Zhang Xiaoran before hobbling inside on his cane.
Still in disbelief, Zhang Xiaoran followed, waving the card again. Every door along the path opened just as easily. She stared at the purple card in her hand. It really was the key card for the Yulong King Villa!
BOOM!
The realization struck Zhang Xiaoran like a bolt of lightning. She collapsed on the spot, her heart turning to ash. The rest of the Zhang family was even more shocked, their eyes wide with astonishnt. Even Zhang ilan and Tang De were stunned. They never imagined that Qin Long had actually bought the Yulong King Villa District! Otherwise, how could he possibly have the key card?
"This is unbelievable..."
"This is one of the most exclusive luxury estates! It must have cost at least nineteen million!"
"Damn it! He’s ridiculously rich!"
When Qin Long led the Zhang family into the inner courtyard, they were utterly flabbergasted. The walls glead with golden opulence, and the chandeliers were clearly priceless. The Zhang family stood frozen, unable to process what they were seeing. A grim expression fell over Zhang Daojun’s face, while Old Master Zhang looked deeply ashad. Beside them, Zhang ide and Li Mingjie quietly let out a sigh of relief, evidently fortunate that they hadn’t completely provoked Qin Long earlier. The consequences would have been terrifying.
"Auntie Lan, Uncle De, co have a good look," Qin Long said courteously to Tang De and Zhang ilan. "Xuewu and I had these walls redone."
"Oh... I see," Zhang ilan stamred, clearly overwheld by the situation.
Although Qin Long hadn’t explicitly invited the rest of the Zhang family inside, they walked into the main hall on their own accord.
"Um, I suddenly have a stomachache. I have to go," Zhang Xiaoran mumbled, her face flushed with humiliation. She quickly turned to leave, and an equally huffy Zhang ide followed her out.
The remaining Zhang family mbers, including the patriarch, felt an overwhelming sense of unreality inside the villa. A magnificent mansion they had only ever seen in movies was standing right before them.
"Goodness, Sister Lan, why would you keep such a thing from us?"
