"He also assured that no Divine would leave the Heavenly Mountain during this period."
"That’s good enough."
Iliad’s spirits lifted. His grandfather in Heaven had provided all the support within his ans, leaving nothing more to ask for, and the rest was naturally a matter between him and his mother.
"You’ve guarded your father for so long, you must be tired. Rest for a while, I’ll take over now. I want to see exactly who these hiding intruders are that dare to target Noah!"
Having fought for hundreds of years, the true age of the Great Angel Commander remained unknown to Noah. She snorted coldly, full of killing intent.
When she ca down, she actually intended to bring her Angel Legion along and even thought about taking over the Savior Ark, but both were stopped.
She had no other option but to strip the armor from her father’s body because she was blocked twice. As a result, the Blazing Sky God tacitly allowed his armors to be entirely removed by his daughter and even made assurances.
"I’m not very tired right now."
"What? Have you been pampered by Noah for years and now don’t even listen to , don’t even trust ?"
"Of course not."
"Then why are you still here getting in the way?"
After forcefully driving her son away, Ophelia completely took over the duty of guarding Noah. The Dragon Palace then fell into silence, with only hundreds of cocoons transford by fairies floating alongside Noah.
"Hey, is anyone there?"
This rare peace and beauty didn’t last long. Less than a month into Ophelia’s solitary guardianship over Noah, a head peeked halfway in from outside the hall door, energetically asking.
It was as if a traveler, lost and by chance seeing a dwelling here, ca seeking help with a hopeful mind.
"If no one’s here, I’m going to co in and do sothing naughty!"
As this malicious voice rang out, the Great Angel Commander sitting cross-legged in front of Noah, dressed in Divine Armor and ditating with her eyes closed, slowly raised her head. The sword resting on her knees ignited with pure white holy flas, and an invisible yet tangible domain unfolded.
"Wow, so there is soone here. My apologies, I didn’t see you there. May I co in?"
Seeing the Great Angel Commander open her eyes and glance at him, the handso and charismatic young man imdiately flashed an apologetic smile.
"Oh, sorry, I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself, but I can and that now. My na is Charon, a distinguished Minstrel.
So people also call the Hell Poet because of a very famous Hell Poem I wrote that makes anyone who listens to it feel as if they’re falling into Hell. Are you interested in hearing a bit?"
Boom—
Imnse Holy Power transford into a sword light, striking down. Even without a restrictive relationship, this sword light, filled with overwhelming power, obliterated this Hell Poet.
A lack of restrictive relationship rely ans no additional damage, yet the power contained in this sword light was high enough to vaporize most Legends completely.
"Ouch, that hurts!"
But as the sword light faded, the remaining half-body of the youth moaned in pain. Under Ophelia’s silent gaze, countless blood and bones appeared in the void and started regenerating wildly.
In the blink of an eye, this man who sohow reached Noah’s Palace regained a complete body without any decline in his aura.
"Beautiful Angel, your sword is so quick. I haven’t even perford a Hell Poem for you, and you’ve made waste a Resurrection Talisman crafted with Divine Power."
The man’s face showed a tinge of sentint and a tone of heartache, yet there was no trace of reluctance or regret on his face.
"However, I have twenty stacks of Resurrection Talismans, how many more swings of your sword can you manage?"
Charon’s gaze turned to the Fla Sword in the Angel’s hands, involuntarily revealing a hint of apprehension.
For beings like them, even across many Material Realms, few creatures or weapons could evoke fear in them and were exceedingly rare. Yet here, they imdiately encountered one.
Although so Divine being didn’t hesitate to expend Divine Power to prepare a large number of Resurrection Techniques for them to activate upon sustaining fatal injuries, the experience of dancing on the edge of death was far from pleasant.
"Why don’t we both take a step back? I’m not really a bad person and will not harm this noble Holy Dragon Emperor, just want him to sleep more soundly and longer.
As long as you clear the way, I think today’s rocky start can still lead to a very pleasant conclusion."
"Why bother talking? The Hidden Realm can only hold for half a day. After that, the old dragons outside will sense sothing’s not right. Hurry up, don’t waste more ti."
Before Ophelia could respond, a brawny man erged from behind the Minstrel, and with each step forward, his body expanded. Within a few strides, the previously stocky man transford into a Giant enshrouded in rocks, continue to grow in size.
Mountain Do Monarch!
A direct descendant of an Earth Mother God, naturally awakening many earth-related spell-like abilities, a born noble and sacred one.
"Calling you stupid is an understatent. Did you even check her identity before acting? Do you know who her father is, soone you can provoke?"
Seeing the brute before him reveal his true form and charge into battle, the Hell Poet Charon couldn’t help but curse loudly.
"We’re targeting her partner, why should we care about her background at this point?"
With unkempt hair and looking slightly disheveled, the middle-aged man scratched his hair like a bird’s nest with confusion.
"Of course, didn’t you notice the surprisingly many limitations on this mission?"
"You’re right, but it doesn’t matter that much. I just need to shoot this crossbow arrow over."
The middle-aged man chuckled and pulled a small crossbow from his bosom. A Curse Arrow, surrounded by black mist, was already nocked.
Dragon Devouring Arrow
A one-ti curse arrow forged specifically against powerful Dragon Species. Even the non-draconic man holding the crossbow felt a certain dread and fear.
Swoosh~
Between banter, the man who pulled out the crossbow had already pulled the trigger. The ominous and imnse grievance-infused arrow shot out straight, aid at the majestic Dragon Clan entrenched in the deepest part of the palace, akin to a sprawling Golden Mountain Range.
No need for precise aiming, the target was too large. Even a blind person would likely hit, let alone a very skilled Spellcaster. While not an archer, his aim was still decent.
However...
Thud—
A dull sound echoed as the Curse Arrow forged with Divine Artifact fragnts mostly embedded into the wall, its tail vibrating slightly while countless indignant wails and howls resonated within the grand hall.
"What the hell, how did I miss?"
Seeing the Curse Arrow lodged into the wall, the lazy expression on the man’s face shifted to alarm and disbelief as he exclaid.
"Damn it, those tasked with reconnaissance should be dragged out and executed a thousand tis!"
At that mont, not just the middle-aged man who fired the arrow but even the laid-back Minstrel Charon couldn’t help but curse and frantically avoid as a dragon claw capable of crushing mountains shattered through space, bearing down on them,
"Wasn’t it asleep? How can it still move?"
