Flying through the air, Zayen felt the wind rush past him as the ruins stretched endlessly below.

"What an unexpected harvest."

His voice carried a trace of satisfaction.

With a thought, his consciousness swept into the storage ring, checking the Primordial Star Core Fragnt resting quietly inside.

The faint starry glow from the rged core was even brighter than before. Seeing it, Zayen couldn’t help but smile.

After all, there were only twelve fragnts in existence. And he had already gathered three of them.

Phew!

Taking a deep breath, Zayen adjusted his direction and began flying toward the location of the next Primordial Star Core Fragnt, following the faint pulling sensation guiding him forward.

He now possessed three fragnts, leaving only nine remaining. If he could gather all twelve fragnts, they would rge into one—forming the complete Divine-grade artifact.

This ti, the distance was much greater.

Even flying at full speed, it still took Zayen nearly half an hour before he finally located the fourth Primordial Star Core Fragnt.

In the distance, a chaotic battle was already underway.

Zayen slowly approached.

Soon, he saw a shirtless, burly man fighting against a young man who looked to be about eighteen years old.

In the young man’s hand was a glowing blue crystal.

It was the Primordial Star Core Fragnt.

Clearly, the young man had discovered it first and had already taken possession of it. Now he and the burly man were fighting fiercely over the treasure.

However, the young man had been keeping a close eye on his system map.

The mont he noticed Zayen approaching, his expression suddenly changed.

Without saying a word, he would rather take a heavy palm strike from the burly man than continue the fight.

Using the force of the blow, he turned and fled toward the distance at full speed.

The burly man was montarily stunned.

He had been locked in a fierce fight just seconds ago, yet the young man had suddenly fled without hesitation.

"What the hell...?" he muttered in confusion.

But then he noticed sothing.

The young man hadn’t run randomly.

Before escaping, he had glanced toward the sky.

The burly man frowned and instinctively looked up.

And then his pupils suddenly shrank. A figure was flying across the sky, rapidly approaching.

Six white wings spread behind his back, shining brilliantly under the light.

The pressure radiating from him was like that of a descending god.

The burly man’s face drained of color, and he imdiately tried to run. Although he hadn’t fully figured out who this person was, the powerful aura radiating from him left no doubt—this was soone far beyond ordinary, not to be trifled with.

Whoosh!

Zayen didn’t give him a chance to escape. With a simple wave of his hand, a golden sword of energy sliced through the air, cutting a deadly arc in the direction of the fleeing man.

"Not good!"

The burly man’s expression changed drastically as he scrambled to dodge the attack.

But it was too late. Zayen moved at lightning speed, closing the distance effortlessly. In a blur, he caught up and slamd the burly man into the ground with brutal force.

Urgh!

Blood surged from the man’s mouth as he struggled against the impact, staring up at Zayen with wide, terrified eyes. "You... what... what do you want to do?!"

Zayen ignored his pleas. Without a word, he reached up and removed the necklace from the burly man’s neck, then slipped it into his storage ring, where it vanished instantly.

With a beat of his wings, he soared into the air, golden aura blazing, and gave chase to the fleeing young man.

The burly man could only stare in horror, blood still trickling from his mouth, as Zayen beca a streak of light disappearing into the ruins.

The burly man’s face twisted in horror as he scrambled to his feet, clutching at his chest.

"Fuck... my necklace...!" he shouted, his voice cracking with anger and panic as he realized what had just happened.

Above, Zayen moved like a predator in the sky; in just a few breaths, he had already caught up to the young man.

The young man’s heart pounded violently in his chest as he darted through the shattered ruins. Dust, debris, and jagged stone blurred past him as he ran, desperately trying to put distance between himself and the golden streak closing in behind him.

"Impossible..." he muttered to himself, gasping. "How... how can this guy move that fast?!"

Above him, Zayen’s wings beat steadily, the golden glow from six wings illuminating the ruins like the sun itself had descended. With every flap, he closed the distance effortlessly, his eyes never leaving the fleeing figure.

A sudden whoosh of wind signaled Zayen’s next move. With a flick of his hand, five golden daggers shot forward, spinning and cutting through the air like deadly streaks of light, each one aid to cut off escape routes.

The young man froze for a fraction of a second, his instincts screaming. He twisted, rolled, and leapt over debris, barely avoiding the spinning blades. Sparks erupted where the daggers grazed the stone floor.

In a heartbeat, Zayen descended from above, wings folding in like a striking falcon. The air around him shimred with golden light as he activated Divine Manifestation, summoning a swirling storm of golden swords around him. Each blade hovered, pointing directly at the young man, forming an inescapable cage of death.

The young man’s legs trembled. No matter where he turned, the swords followed. Panic surged through him like fire.

"Either hand over the fragnt to , or I’ll kill you!"

Zayen’s voice was calm, almost indifferent.

"Choose one."

The young man faltered, eyes wide. "This..." He hesitated, unsure what to do.

Seeing the hesitation, Zayen didn’t waste another word. With a swift flick of his hand, five golden swords shot toward the young man at blinding speed, cutting through the air like streaks of sunlight.

The young man’s face turned pale. He scrambled to dodge, narrowly avoiding the lethal blades.

"I—I will give it to you! I will give it to you!" he shouted in sheer terror, trembling as he fumbled for the fragnt.

"Very good!"

Zayen smiled faintly. With a casual wave of his hand, the golden swords hovering in the air shattered into countless particles of light before dissolving completely, leaving nothing behind but a faint golden glow that lingered for a heartbeat.

The young man swallowed hard, still trembling, aware of just how close he had co to death.

The young man fumbled, hands shaking violently as he hastily handed over the Primordial Star Core Fragnt.

Zayen reached out and took it effortlessly, the fragnt vanishing into his storage ring with a faint glimr.

"Thank you for cooperating," Zayen said calmly, his voice like ice, betraying no emotion.

Before the young man could even react, Zayen beat his wings and rose into the air, golden feathers slicing through the ruins as he disappeared from sight.

Right now, out of the twelve Primordial Star Core Fragnts scattered across the Primordial God Ruins, eleven had already been discovered.

Only the last fragnt remained unfound.

Among all the players, Zayen possessed the most fragnts, holding four in total.

Besides him, four other players had also each obtained the Primordial Star Core Fragnt.

Among them, Hou Jinjai appeared to possess the most.

With the fragnts now mostly claid, the atmosphere within the Primordial God Ruins had quietly begun to change.

Sooner or later the real battles would begin.

After all, if soone wanted to obtain all twelve fragnts, there was only one way left.

And that was to take them from the others.

Zayen opened the system map and glanced at Hou Jinjai’s location.

Seeing the vast distance between them, he simply shook his head.

Zayen had no interest in looking for him right now.

The reason was simple.

It was too far.

According to the coordinates displayed on the system map, Hou Jinjai was more than three thousand miles away from him.

Even if Zayen rushed there imdiately, catching up to him would take a considerable amount of ti. And even if he did manage to catch up, dealing with Hou Jinjai wouldn’t be easy. Their battle might even end up benefiting soone else who arrived midway.

At the mont, all the players whose coordinates were publicly displayed maintained a distance of at least five hundred miles from each other.

This had beco a kind of tacit understanding among them.

Because those who could steadily obtain a Primordial Star Core Fragnt without being robbed were, without exception, individuals possessing Level 8 or even Level 9 combat power.

If a real battle broke out between such experts, even if one side managed to win, there was no guarantee that another Level 9 player wouldn’t suddenly appear halfway through the fight.

After all, their coordinates were public.

The mont any holder of a Primordial Star Core Fragnt got too close, everyone else would imdiately notice.

And in this situation...

No one would mind reaping the benefits after others fought.

But such tacit understandings were sotis ant to be broken.

"I wonder if this fellow will run if I go there. ..."

Zayen muttered to himself as he stared at the coordinates of one of the Primordial Star Core Fragnt holders on the system map.

The other party was the only one relatively close to him, making him a very good target.

A perfect target for robbery.

Since he couldn’t find the last fragnt, Zayen naturally decided to rob soone who already had one.

After all, searching blindly for the final fragnt might take who knows how long.

But robbing soone?

That was much faster.

A faint smile appeared on Zayen’s face as he stared at the glowing coordinate on the system map.

Having decided on his target, Zayen didn’t hesitate; with a flap of his wings, his figure turned into a streak of golden light and shot toward the marked location.
