Not intending to let this opportunity slip by, the Hero put down her pack and took a kitchen knife that had been taken from her own household kitchen.
Although it was just a kitchen knife, it had a blade sharp enough to split hairs, after all, it ca from the Viscount’s House, where naturally all kitchenware was of high quality.
[Hero equipped with a kitchen knife (Armor Break 3)]
She tied her hair back and fastened her shoelaces, exhaled a breath, and then held her breath as she stealthily entered the shadows, slowly approaching the Goblin encampnt…

There were about twenty or so Goblins, lounging around aimlessly.
This place was once a field of battle fortifications, scattered stone fences, ruins of camp buildings, trenches and massive boulders strewn all over, creating shadow after shadow and obstacle after obstacle.
The Hero casually grabbed a handful of earth and sprinkled it on herself, completely disregarding any demureness or self-awareness befitting a Noble Lady.
She gripped the kitchen knife tightly, fearful that the Goblins might pick up the scent of her sweat; her heart pounded loudly, as if it couldn’t wait to express her excitent.
Then she darted out from behind cover with light steps, sneaked into the blind spot of a patrolling Goblin’s vision, and moved quickly with agile movents.
At tis she would slip into the shadows, other tis she crawled behind walls, and although her movents were far from elegant, she was rapidly and indisputably nearing the Goblin Knight at the center.
Despite being prepared to transform at any mont, even the Hero herself was sowhat taken aback by how she moved silently like a snake, indeed, she managed to get close to the Goblin Knight without being detected at all.
There were no more obstacles at this distance.
The Hero tightened her grip on the sharp blade, her gaze becoming calm and steady.

The Goblin Windmill Knight continued to snore heavily, its helt askew, exposing an unguarded vital spot.
The Hero no longer hesitated, she bent down and sprinted, bursting forth like a leopard.
The target was— the jaw!
Along with a loud stepping sound, in an instant, she was in front of the Goblin Knight, plunging the sharp blade down hard before the other Goblins could react.
[Hero’s Stealth Attack successful, earned an ignore defense reward]
[Hero activated skill: Sacrifice]

[Goblin Windmill Knight takes 33 points of damage HP -5/28]
[Goblin Windmill Knight LV13 dead]
‘Success!’
The sensation from the blade confird the Hero’s belief.
She twisted the handle harshly, the blade, originally used for cutting food, mashed the creature’s brain tissue.
An ordinary Goblin, no matter how sturdy the Armor or how tough the Constitution, couldn’t possibly still be alive after its brain was pulverized!
Even if their brains actually made up less than one-tenth of their skulls.
In this battlefield relic, the Goblin Windmill Knight, also considered a strong entity, twitched and then maintained stillness, eting its end in sleep.
The Knight, assassinated by a cunning assassin, was unaware of its death, a fate often portrayed in dramas – one wonders if it found satisfaction in that.
Without a second glance at the dead Goblin Windmill Knight, the Hero rcilessly pulled out the sharp blade and scanned her surroundings.
In face of the girl’s staunch posture, the remaining Goblins were bewildered for several seconds before they finally grasped what had occurred.
A treacherous assassin had killed their leader—a delicious-looking human girl.
Realizing this, the remaining Goblins twisted their faces, showing no fear, only Anger, murderous intent, and Greed.
The next act in the drama began; the followers avenging the fallen Knight could win the Knight’s Armor, plus the delicate assassin girl as a reward!
As for consoling the Knight’s departed spirit, expecting such thoughts from them was far too unrealistic.
