Although the "billiards match" between Yasaka and Kuroka had drawn quite a bit of Ren's attention, no one present could ignore the existence of the strongest being in the room.

Even if Ren appeared to be watching the spectacle, most of his focus was actually fixed on Ophis.

Ren was like that—and Vali even more so. The guy had practically nothing in his head except fighting and getting stronger. Kuroka had tried more than once to drag him into starting a "little Vali project," but the man's steel-reinforced density made him completely oblivious every single ti.

When Ophis made her move, Ren was visibly surprised.

As for Vali and Bikou, the mont they laid eyes on Kamiyori, they froze on the spot.

"Why is there a grown-up Ophis here?!"

Kuroka, never one to hold back, voiced the question on everyone's mind.

Ren was about to explain, but Ophis spoke first.

"I find her aura… familiar. I wish to keep her by my side."

Standing close to Kamiyori, gently stroking her head, Ophis seed—uncharacteristically—content.

This was the first ti, aside from her desire to return to the Dinsional Gap, that she had shown interest in sothing else.

Kamiyori appeared to be a girl of seventeen or eighteen, while Ophis looked like a child of around ten. Yet sohow, the atmosphere between them felt as though Ophis were the mother, and Kamiyori the daughter.

"That's not happening. There's no way I'm letting you take Kamiyori!"

"No. Kamiyori will never leave Ren-sama!"

The mont Ophis finished speaking, Ren and Kamiyori responded in perfect unison.

Kamiyori had been by Ren's side longer than anyone—there was no way he would allow her to be taken away.

And for Kamiyori, Ren was her creator. Their souls were deeply intertwined, inseparable at the core.

The reason Ophis felt such familiarity toward her was likely because Kamiyori had absorbed her blood.

Now that she was fully awakened, Kamiyori didn't just possess her original divine attributes—she also carried draconic traits.

"In that case… I will stay here as well."

Seeing Kamiyori's clear resistance to leaving with her, Ophis didn't insist.

Instead, she simply plopped herself down right in front of Kamiyori, fixing her divine, unblinking gaze on her as if nothing else in the world mattered.

For Ophis, as long as she wasn't in the Dinsional Gap, it didn't really matter where she stayed.

Ti itself held no aning for her. Defeating the True Red Dragon God Emperor and driving him away was never going to be a short-term endeavor—she had all the ti in the world.

But right now, Kamiyori interested her far more.

"In that case, we'll leave Ophis in your care for a while," Vali said casually. "We've got other matters to handle, so it's inconvenient to bring her along."

The Infinite Dragon God's whims were nothing new to him, so he didn't hesitate to dump the responsibility.

"The hell you an 'leave her in our care'?!" Ren snapped imdiately. "Did you even ask the hoowner first?! However many of you ca here—take the sa number back with you!

"This house already has more than enough problem children! I don't need another one! And have you thought this through at all?! The Khaos Brigade is the enemy of multiple factions right now—if we shelter their leader, we'll beco a target for everyone!"

Between Yasaka's constant antics, Kunou's endless mischief, and Kamiyori being a literal newborn with zero common sense, Ren already felt like he was at his limit.

Now they wanted to add an emotionless—but absurdly overpowered—Dragon God to the mix?

Yeah. No. Absolutely not.

"I do sympathize with you," Vali replied with a shrug, "but once Ophis decides sothing, no one can change her mind.

"Of course… you're welco to try forcing her out."

Hearing that suggestion, Ren glanced over at Ophis—who was now sitting beside Kamiyori, holding children's flashcards and learning characters just like her.

His face imdiately twisted into a pained expression.

Force Ophis out?

That was basically the sa as trying to kick the True Red Dragon God Emperor out of the Dinsional Gap…

"As compensation for taking Ophis in, I'll share so useful information," Vali added.

"The Khaos Brigade isn't unified. There are multiple factions within it—and recently, cracks have started to form."

"Ophis originally cooperated with them due to mutual benefit. But now, so mbers are aiming to seize her power for themselves.

"Ophis possesses imnse strength, but she is also pure… almost too pure. If that power were to fall into the hands of soone with ambition, you can imagine what would happen."

Recently, Vali's group had stayed close to Ophis at all tis, precisely because they feared soone might target her.

Her power was overwhelming—but her simplicity made her vulnerable.

To the point where, quite literally, you could probably lure her away with a single lollipop.

Now that Ophis wanted to stay with Ren, Vali was surprised—but also secretly pleased.

After their previous encounters, he had a clear understanding of what kind of person Ren was.

And with Ren's level of strength, he was more than capable of protecting Ophis.

Having successfully offloaded one major "problem child," Vali's team left just as casually as they had arrived.

Before departing, however, Vali provided two key pieces of intelligence.

The first was about a faction within the Khaos Brigade known as the "Hero Faction."

They were the ones seeking to steal Ophis's power and wipe out all divine and demonic forces.

Most of their mbers were human—or rather, descendants of legendary human heroes.

Because of that lineage, they were generally quite powerful, and nearly all of them wielded Sacred Gears.

The second piece of information—

The Norse evil god, the god of curses—Loki—had arrived in Tokyo.

His objective was to assassinate the chief Norse god, Odin, and trigger Ragnarök.

This country fell under the jurisdiction of the Biblical factions. If Odin were to be killed here, the bla would inevitably fall on them—whether they liked it or not.

And once Odin died, the ensuing Ragnarök wouldn't be limited to the Norse pantheon.

It would escalate into a full-scale war among gods.

Ragnarök ant chaos—a catastrophic conflict where countless gods and demons would fall.

Which aligned perfectly with the Hero Faction's goal of annihilating all supernatural beings.

That ant there was a high chance the Hero Faction wasn't just supplying Loki with information—they might even participate in the operation from the shadows.

"Ren-sama," Yasaka said seriously, her tone losing all its earlier playfulness, "I think we need to inform the three major Biblical factions about Loki.

"If Odin is killed, it won't just be them who suffer. The yokai factions that have made this country their ho for so long… will be among the first to face the wrath of the gods."
