Jane McCain was taken aback and turned her head to look at her, “Again?… Does he often hit Lucas Tucker?”
“I thought you knew.” Fiona Lake looked disappointed. She probably hoped to get so information from Jane McCain, but Jane didn’t know anything at all.

Jane picked up her wallet, decided to go to the street to buy a new sheet, preferably buy so snacks and instant noodles too. She’d rather eat instant noodles than face Juliet Stewart in the cafeteria.
As she passed Fiona Lake and Juliet Stewart’s dormitory, the door was open, and Fiona saw her and spoke up, “Going out? I’ll go with you, you’re not familiar with this area, don’t get lost.”
“I’m just going to the supermarket, won’t walk too far,” Jane explained.
“Mr. Rivera instructed before he left to look after you, let’s go together.” Fiona said as she stood up and efficiently put on her coat, “I’ll also buy so drinks. Hey, Juliet Stewart, are you coming?”

Jane felt it was unsafe and wanted to wait, but the people behind her moved forward, causing her body to stumble two steps ahead.

An ear-piercing ergency brake, followed by the driver’s angry roar, “Trying to get yourself killed?! Crossing the street without looking?!!”
Jane was so scared she almost lost her heartbeat.
She lay dazed on the ground, took a while to regain her senses, looking around unsure where to focus her gaze, only seeing the contents of her shopping bags scattered everywhere.
Panic-stricken, she heard Fiona’s scolding nearby, “Juliet Stewart! Why did you push her?!”
