Amalia quickly beca fully imrsed in the mysterious feeling, focusing so deeply that she didn’t even sense Kenny Lin sitting beside her.
Kenny Lin was slower to enter the state because he had to first digest the information Amalia had given him.
"Hmm?" Outside the formation, Elder Bon let out a soft sound of surprise.
Seeing how quickly both of them beca absorbed in the formation, he was a bit shocked.
If they weren’t familiar with the array or had no insight, they wouldn’t have been able to reach this level of focus. Even though this was a simplified version of the formation, its complexity still stumped many people.
After all, using the power of the stars as its foundation ant the array was no small thing.
"Is this for real?" Elder Bon watched them for a while and finally confird they weren’t faking it.
It had been said before that their talent for cultivation was not weak at all. Both of them could be considered top prodigies. However, just because soone has a high cultivation talent doesn’t an they excel in everything, especially in the field of formations.
Formations are mysterious and complex. Not only do you need talent, but you also need constant hard work to reach a high level. It’s not sothing easily achieved.
Elder Bon’s proudest achievent in his life was creating the "Heaven’s Destruction Formation" and combining it with the Mountain-Guarding Formation, which greatly strengthened its power.
You could say that the fact no one could break this formation was his pride. It proved that the formation he created was incredibly powerful and unmatched.
"I’ll keep watching. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, or there’s another reason," Elder Bon decided, but he focused even more on the two of them.
In the blink of an eye, more than twenty days had passed. The sky had gone from light to dark over twenty tis, like a lamp that brightened with the sun and moon and then dimd.
During that ti, so people ca to find Elder Bon, but he refused to see them.
Finally, one day, Tan Kai couldn’t stand it anymore. He was the sixth elder after all, and being turned away twice made him lose face. Ignoring the advice of the disciples, he barged in. Just as he was about to question Elder Bon, he was startled by the red bloodshot eyes staring back at him.
"What happened to you?"
He had to shout twice before Elder Bon snapped out of it. His eyes were red as he looked at Tan Kai. "It’s nothing."
"If that expression ans ’nothing,’ I’ll go jump into the Sea of Flesh. Tell , what happened? Don’t tell ..." Tan Kai’s face changed. "Did sothing happen to those two kids?"
"They’re definitely in trouble," Elder Bon said through clenched teeth.
Tan Kai was scared and rushed over to him. "What happened? What’s the big deal?"
Elder Bon sighed deeply like he was deflating. "My Heavenfall Annihilation Formation... it seems they’ve broken it."
"What? Oh, it’s just that they broke the formation—wait, what?" Tan Kai’s voice suddenly jumped.
"You heard right. They broke it. It took them less than a month. Even though it’s the simplified version, it still holds hundreds of years of my effort," Elder Bon said, a bit jealous of their talent.
"No way!" Tan Kai still couldn’t believe it. "Didn’t you say before that even soone like Ryuwon Huan, the old master of formations, couldn’t even break it?"
Elder Bon shot him a glance. "I was joking. You took that seriously? The simplified version of the Heavenfall Annihilation Formation is what they cracked. If you give them enough ti, they’d break the full version too. Ryuwon Huan is still a famous formation master in Mystic Void Continent, but I guarantee he couldn’t do it in just a month."
"So, what are you going to do now?" Tan Kai asked with a complicated expression.
"What am I going to do..." Elder Bon stopped halfway through his sentence, his eyes lighting up like lanterns in the night. "I’ve got it!"
"What is it?"
"Do you think I could convince them to co study formations with ?" Elder Bon asked sincerely, as if he was genuinely seeking Tan Kai’s opinion.
"Do you really want my opinion?" Tan Kai asked.
Elder Bon nodded.
Tan Kai said, "Then I’ll tell you. Master Lian probably wouldn’t mind. Seeing your formation techniques being passed down, he’d likely be happy. But the one from Naless Peak is different. If you try to take her disciple, she might just chop you in half."
Elder Bon thought about it and agreed, "Master Lian’s disciple is enough."
"Are you sure?" Tan Kai asked with a laugh.
"What do you an? Is there a problem?" Elder Bon asked, puzzled.
"Of course there is. Amalia is an Artificer, and she’s probably way better at formations than Kenny Lin. From what I know, Kenny Lin isn’t really known for being good at formations. I think the reason he understood the essence of the Heavenfall Annihilation Formation is probably because of Amalia’s guidance."
Elder Bon suddenly looked like he had aged hundreds of years. "Why are you telling this, yet not letting take the disciple of Senior Tian Wuya?"
Tan Kai laughed loudly. "You don’t necessarily have to take them as disciples. You could just teach them what you know. That way, if sothing happens to you, soone can still pass down your knowledge."
Elder Bon thought for a mont. "That’s a good idea. Maybe I’ll teach both of them together. The fact that Kenny Lin could grasp the formation shows he has so talent in this area too."
"Well, you better think about how to convince them. Amalia might agree because she loves to learn, but Kenny Lin seems wild and untad. I doubt he’d agree easily."
"That’s not a problem," Elder Bon said confidently, like he already had a plan.
Tan Kai looked surprised. "You already have an idea?"
