The Monarch was nearly bored to death. He wasn’t an Undead who liked to sleep. Normally, he’d shout about going to hack soone, but when there was no one to hack, he’d rather open up a few small vegetable plots in the Resting Camp and summon a few little skeletons to plant vegetables than to go to sleep.

When he first learned there were other worlds beyond the Master Plane, he was thrilled, willing to abandon his already-broken-through Black Crystal Body to throw himself into the Star Burst Plane for a fresh start.

After Ange sorted out the Ancient Godlight, his first reaction was also to let Ange throw him out to break through the Energy Level Great Desert and start anew in the Divine Light Alliance.

In essence, the Monarch was just that sort of restless old guy, always thinking about making big moves.

However, the past decade almost suffocated him. Apart from the yet-to-arrive Gez Fortress and the far-hiding Star Movers, almost the entire Land of the Infinity was Ange’s territory, and he didn’t know where to find soone to hack.

So, during this ti, he’s been staying on the Star Mover’s Primordial Body, trying to find so new fun.

Although he gained quite a bit, it was still small stuff. Now, upon hearing that Ange has opened a rift in the barrier, his first reaction was, "I want to go out!"

After saying a few words, he cut off the Soul Contact with Locke, then went to the triangular breach, only to find that everyone was outside, making him so anxious that he clawed at the breach and shouted there.

"Hey, is that you, Old Immortal? Your head is too big to fit through, what a pity, better stay ho." Negris seized the opportunity to tease him.

Can this be called a big head? A skeleton’s skull has no flesh or tendons, it’s smooth and bare.

"Ange, open it a bit larger so I can squeeze my head through, I’ll disassemble the bones and stuff them through," the Monarch said anxiously.

Ange scratched his skull in confusion, squeezed back in, opened the Gate of No Boundary, and tilted his head to look at him.

The Monarch’s old face turned red: "Haha, the Gate of No Boundary is available to use, huh? Why didn’t you say so earlier, you darn kid."

He then squeezed through, erging from the other side of the Gate of No Boundary.

The Gate of No Boundary couldn’t allow the Divine Star Body through, but other objects could easily pass.

In fact, the Divine Star Body could pass through too, but the cost was too high, a bit not worth it.

The other end of the Gate of No Boundary was shrouded in black mist. As soon as the Monarch stepped out, he imdiately sensed sothing and took a deep breath, allowing a large amount of black mist to flow into his skull through his nasal cavity.

Don’t let the holes in a skeleton’s nasal cavity and eye sockets fool you, only when devouring the Soul Fire of other Undead can Soul Energy seamlessly enter the cranial cavity.

Other substances, like the breath of death, which aren’t pure Soul Energy, can’t pass directly into the cranial cavity, which is a protective chanism like the blood-brain barrier in humans.

The Monarch inhaled a big puff of black mist, his spirit lifted: "Such strong Soul Energy."

"Is this Soul Energy? Can you absorb it directly?" Negris asked suspiciously.

"I can. This black mist is even stronger than the Chaos Mist, with an energy density at least three tis higher," the Monarch said.

"Can you manipulate this black mist like you did with the Chaos Mist on the Chaos Plane?" Negris asked.

If considering the Chaos Mist as the corpse of the God Star, then manipulating the Chaos Mist is equivalent to manipulating the corpse. The Monarch initially used this to control all the Chaos Mist on the Chaos Plane, condensing it into a Primordial Body.

If the Monarch could also do this now, condensing a new Primordial Body, wouldn’t his power increase significantly?

The Monarch shook his head: "How could I? The Chaos Mist on the Chaos Plane was ownerless, but this black mist carries other presences, making it too difficult to control, and moreover, there’s just too much of it."

On the Chaos Plane, the Chaos Mist was actually scarce, spreading wide and appearing plentiful, but in reality, it might only be a fraction of the Little Fireman Divine Star.

However, here, the total amount of black mist is dozens of tis that of the Little Fireman Divine Star. Even if it were ownerless, the Monarch couldn’t control it.

"Then can you devour it? Strengthen your soul?" Negris asked.

"That I can do, but whose black mist is this? If I devour it, will soone co to hack ?" The Monarch asked eagerly.

Negris observed his posture and thought, does he look like he’s afraid of being hacked?

"He’s Ange’s subject now, don’t be thinking about ss," Negris said irritably.

At this mont, Anthony interjected: "Your Majesty, just the person I wanted to see. Just now, two Star Descendants passed through here; they were sent from another branch path. I’d like to ask for your help to capture one alive."

"Oh? Star Descendants? Only capture one alive? What about the other?" The Monarch asked, puzzled.

"Of course, leave the other to go back and report," Anthony replied.

The Monarch was too lazy to ask complex questions. After inquiring about the direction the others had left, he intended to chase after them.

"Just a mont, Your Majesty. Use this to carry," Anthony pulled out a pouch stitched from a Holy Shroud: "If the first one inside dies, then capture the second one."

Anthony wasn’t sure if the Star Descendants here shared a forced connection akin to Soul Contact with their God Star. If the connection were severed, their consciousness might dissipate, leaving only a White Crystal to be captured.

The Monarch nodded, darted out of the Star Attraction, and swiftly pursued in the direction the two Star Descendants had gone.

Four hours later, the Monarch returned, clutching the Holy Shroud in his hand, as if it was wrapped around sothing.

"They’re fast runners, it took ages to catch up. But I caught them, alive, and gave the other a beating before letting it go," the Monarch said.

"How do you feel about them, Your Majesty? How strong are they?" Anthony asked.

The Monarch replied: "Much stronger than those under Ancient Man Snake, their White Crystal’s strength has doubled, but their combat skills are much higher, so their overall power is much greater."

Anthony nodded, knowing well the quality of the Star Descendants under Ancient Man Snake. The Little Fireman Divine Star hadn’t even hatched before, and the Star Descendants lacked the inheritance of combat experience, further hindered by being nurtured by a Parasitic Vine, making it impossible to learn any combat techniques.

A Sealed Space was quickly set up, and everyone entered it. Only then did the Monarch release his grip on the Holy Shroud.

Almost as soon as he released it, the Holy Shroud exploded completely, and a Star Descendant figure burst out from the White Crystal, throwing a punch towards Anthony, who was the closest.

"I’ll handle it!" Anthony imdiately shouted, simultaneously eting the attack. He called out for the Monarch to hear because if he were a mont slower, the Monarch would have intercepted the Star Descendant.

Anthony took so ti to beat the Star Descendant into submission, its form shattering back into the White Crystal, serving as a first-hand test of this Star Descendant’s combat level.

The Star Descendant re-condensed its form, looking suspiciously at the Monarch, and then at Anthony. Was it not enough for an Incrental Body to be this strong, why was this Star Descendant also so powerful? Who were these people?

"You’re wondering who we are, aren’t you? Didn’t Lania tell you to co find us and explain who we are?" Anthony asked.
