Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton Chapter 1880 - 1441: Equal Cross
The Abyss Bridge has failed for the second ti; the first was to imprison the Ancient Man Snake. It wasn’t as powerful as the Gray Divine Star made it out to be. This weapon designed to imprison the God Star’s consciousness couldn’t even control the consciousness projected remotely by the Gez Fortress.
"So, it was just that the Old Star was too weak and got imprisoned by its weapon?" Negris exclaid.
"Don’t put it so bluntly. Luckily, the Old Star isn’t here," Anthony glanced around, rembering that the Old Star wasn’t present.
Durken only then realized this and curiously asked, "Oh right, I haven’t seen it in a while. Where did the Gray Divine Star go?"
"Ange swapped it into a new body, and now it’s imrsed in the God Star, trying to strengthen itself," explained Negris.
"Swapped into a new body? Did it give up its original one?" Durken was taken aback.
Negris replied, "Yes, it gave it up. An old God Star has no incrent and only continues to decline, serving only as a one-ti energy source. Once used, it’s gone. Now, it’s changed into a younger body and is absorbing the Star Fla of the Little Fireman Divine Star. Although it’s weaker, it has unlimited potential."
Anthony couldn’t help but interject, "Wasn’t it always hesitating? Why did it suddenly agree now?"
Although Anthony knew the direction of the Gray Divine Star, he was still curious because, when he first surrendered, Ange had given him two choices: switch to a younger body for rebirth or remain as is and gradually decline.
The Gray Divine Star was always hesitant, reluctant to part with its original body. Anthony was curious about what prompted it to make this decision after hesitating for so long.
"Because Ange can now delve deep into the God’s heart, where the Star Fla Molten Fire is the purest and most primal. By switching bodies now, it can infiltrate the depths of the God Star and draw that purest Star Fla, let’s call it Fla Marrow, to avoid confusion," Negris took the opportunity to na the pure Star Fla.
Ursman imdiately caught the deeper aning of the na, "Fla Marrow? The Star Fla that generates Star Fla?"
Negris nodded, giving him a look of ’you get my point’: "Or you could call it the freshest. The Star Fla of the entire God Star is ignited at the core. The ignited Star Fla must continuously clash and push within the God Star, constantly generating incrents. By the ti they push to the God Star’s surface, they have already been burning for thousands or even tens of thousands of years and are far from fresh."
"No wonder the Old Star chose to switch bodies, with the help of these Fla Marrows, it might just be able to restore its forr strength," Anthony remarked.
At its peak, the Gray Divine Star wasn’t very large. It was just a very small God Star, possibly only a fraction of the Little Fireman Divine Star. Even if it absorbed a fraction of the Little Fireman Divine Star’s Star Fla, it wouldn’t have much impact on the God Star.
While they were engrossed in conversation, Ange soul-shifted over and pointed at himself.
Everyone latched onto Ange. Before latching on, Negris asked, "The arm? Did you manage to get it?"
Ange nodded.
As everyone latched on, a Star Attraction suddenly shot up in the distance where they were located. Upon seeing Ange and the others, it imdiately roared in fury: "It’s you again! Return my arm!"
Though the Star Zombie’s arms were severed, the Star Attraction’s arms were still intact. It raised its hand and swung its fists fiercely towards Ange.
Even though the Star Zombie could see Ange and the others, the distance was considerable, at least tens of thousands of kiloters. But with one swing, a teor Fist imdiately shot out like a beam of light towards Ange.
Ange could have soul-shifted away imdiately, but upon seeing the teor Fist, Ange quickly pulled out an arm and swung it like a club.
Boom! The teor Fist was knocked aside directly by the arm.
Upon seeing the arm Ange produced, the Star Zombie beca even angrier, shrieking, "My arm! Return my arm!" and was about to charge.
Unfortunately, Ange imdiately put away the arm and soul-shifted away, leaving no chance for the Star Zombie.
When Ange reappeared, he had soul-shifted near the Gray Divine Star’s main body in the Heathrow Plane.
After getting off Ange, Negris asked in so confusion, "Ange, why did you provoke him?"
Provoke him? Ange tilted his head.
"Weren’t you trying to provoke him? Then why did you deliberately take out the Star Arm to knock away his attack?" Negris asked, puzzled.
"Test, power, intensity," Ange replied.
"Pfft, you just wanted to test his attack power and the intensity of the Star Arm?" Negris almost spat old blood.
Ange nodded affirmatively.
Negris was convinced, as expected, Ange wouldn’t do sothing so trivial as taking out an arm just to tease a Star Zombie. He rely wanted to test the attack’s power.
The Star Zombie’s punch was an external release of Star Power, equivalent to an external release of Battle Qi. It consud a lot of Star Power but was quite potent, so Ange wanted to test it, which was quite normal.
Although he didn’t an to provoke the other party, the effect was the sa, as the Star Zombie was so agitated that all it could shout was ’arm.’
That’s just like Ange—a normal action for him, but one that could greatly irritate others.
When they returned, Lisa anxiously pushed through the crowd, approaching Ange to say: "Sir, the Little Zombie seems to be in pain, but when I asked if it hurts, it said it was fine. Please take a look at it."
Ange examined the Little Zombie, his thought sweeping over its body, discovering that Star Power was infecting its skeletal structure.
The Little Zombie’s current body was sowhat akin to the Mourning Undead Soldiers, with black crystal bones but rely ordinary iron skin for flesh, the skin and skeletal structure not on the sa level.
The Star Power received on the arm was infecting the bones, seemingly attempting to homogenize the skeleton, transforming it into Star Bones.
If it followed the Mourning Undead Soldiers’ situation completely, after the bones were transford, the skin and flesh on the body would likely fall off, but Ange didn’t entirely replicate the Mourning Undead Soldiers. Instead, he chose to place the Black Crystal Soul in the chest’s heart position, transforming into a zombie.
In this way, the Star Power needed to be led to the Black Crystal Soul first, then circulate to other parts of the body.
To be honest, this should be quite painful—a force exceeding the soul’s capacity squeezing through, the pain akin to sothing drilling in.
However, the Little Zombie didn’t make a sound, only the high-frequency pulsating Black Crystal Soul showing it wasn’t without sensation.
Ange paused, if not for Lisa’s keen observation of the Little Zombie’s condition, he wouldn’t have noticed. Why didn’t this stubborn child scream for help?
After a flick to the forehead, Ange turned the Little Zombie over, removed its other arm, and reattached the newly acquired Star Arm, letting it lay back down.
With the Star Power from one arm, the Little Zombie was already struggling. Now, with both arms receiving power simultaneously, its body couldn’t help but curl up slightly, crying out, "Ouch!"
Ange spread his arms wide, a balance appearing behind him—the Equal Cross.
