The Star Zombie intensely focused on sensing changes from the opposite side, constantly on guard for anything that might touch him, so he could imdiately react and blast the opponent into smithereens.

This was actually very exhausting. Any species would feel extrely tired when constantly on high alert, and the Star Zombie felt this even more so. It was a ntal exhaustion, unrelated to physical strength.

The reaction speed of a normal human is 0.02 milliseconds, but if one spends an entire day focusing on testing their reaction ti, it becos extrely tiring.

Additionally, the Star Zombie’s consciousness was projected from afar, and the distance was truly too far, causing so delay, which made it even more tiring.

Furthermore, he had to perceive through his body without being able to directly probe the situation on the other side, which added to his exhaustion.

There was no way around it; the opposite environnt was high-pressure molten fire, and his thought couldn’t extend out of his body. It would be crushed by the molten fire imdiately; Ange had relied on the Divine Star Shadow to dive to such depths initially.

If he didn’t extend out of his body, his thoughts would be blocked by the externalized Star Power, unless he retracted the Star Power back into his body.

Indeed, the externalized Star Power blocked his thought perception, sothing he realized only after projecting into this body; King Fei Lie hadn’t inford him of this crucial information.

Of course, retracting it into his body would have no effect; the star projection could even carry his thoughts, but when externalized, the Star Power was like armor, restricting his perception to very small areas such as his eyes and heart.

But if not externalized, his arm couldn’t withstand the heavy pressure of the depths of the God Star, and even if not externalized, he wouldn’t see anything, just like the Divine Star Shadow, effectively making him blind in the molten fire.

Thus, he couldn’t comprehend how the other party managed to find his arm in the vast depths of the God Star.

The intense ntal focus was unbearable for the Star Zombie. Normally, he perceived ti in units of centuries, and with a slight lapse, hundreds of years would slip by.

But now, he perceived ti in seconds, making seconds feel like centuries, and thus he couldn’t help but beco distracted.

Dazed for a mont, he suddenly ca back to his senses, realizing that dozens of minutes had passed. Had Ange attacked his arm during this ti, he might not have reacted in ti, but fortunately, no mishap occurred.

Focusing once more, the Star Zombie couldn’t help but think: When will this end...

Only when the Silent Death Sea collided with the God Star could he be relieved from this heightened vigilance, but this was clearly not possible in the short term.

The distance between the Silent Death Sea and the God Star was too vast. Even if he continued to increase strength, it would take several hundred years for the entire Silent Death Sea to cross this distance. According to his previous understanding, hundreds of years were just a fleeting mont, but now it felt impossibly long, to the point where he felt like giving up.

Just as the Star Zombie was agonizing, he suddenly sensed a strange fluctuation, as if a massive Giant Beast with great mass was approaching.

Sending out his thought, the Star Zombie saw a giant Plane slowly drifting towards the Abyss Core.

Seeing the giant Plane, the Star Zombie imdiately beca distressed. Undoubtedly, at this proximity, the giant Plane was sure to crash into the Abyss Core, as the Abyss Core’s gravity had already captivated it, unless he went out now and blew up the Plane.

But if he acted, he would have to withdraw his arm, causing the entire Silent Death Sea to stop moving, aning all the effort he put into dragging the Silent Death Sea would be wasted. Even if he dealt with the giant Plane, he would need to start dragging and restarting all over again.

Thinking of such a hassle, the Star Zombie decided to let it be. Let it crash; it wouldn’t break anyway.

Although the Abyss Core’s diater was only five kiloters, its mass was larger than tens of thousands of similar giant Planes. It was the core of the Devouring Abyss Tidra, with most of its mass concentrated on it, and the material sprayed out ford just the remnants of Tidra’s form.

The Planes composed of such remnants might be torn apart even before they crash into the Abyss Core.

Up to this point, the Star Zombie hadn’t suspected anyone was up to no good with the giant Plane because he was dragging the Silent Death Sea, altering its trajectory throughout the process, making it normal for sothing to crash towards it.

Thus, he quietly watched the giant Plane approach, watching it crash towards the Abyss Core.

"How coincidental, the landing point is right where I am, and it’s still intact," the Star Zombie mumbled in confusion.

The landing point of the giant Plane was too coincidental—right in the recess where he lay—and its overall sturdiness surprised him too. Normally, a Plane this close would have already been torn apart by the gravity difference between the far and near ends.

Perplexed, he swept his thought through the interior of the Plane to see what it was made of, to be so hard.

As his thought ventured inside, he saw a dense sh of roots; these roots were orderly and filled the entire Plane, much like steel wires mixed into the soil, tightly binding them together.

The Star Zombie was no longer slow to realize sothing was wrong. His first reaction was: "Ancient Man Snake! Have you betrayed ?"

Who else but the Ancient Man Snake could wrap an entire Plane in roots?

And the Deceit Tree, yes, the Deceit Tree too; there were just two such plants in this void, and it couldn’t have been the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms causing mischief, could it? The Tree of Ten Thousand Realms had been entwined by the Ancient Man Snake for so long, who knew if it still had self-awareness.

Realizing soone was up to mischief, the Star Zombie beca alert. His thought followed the roots, delving deep into the Plane, while he clenched his arm, ready to blast the enemy at any mont.

The Star Zombie’s thought reached the center of the Plane, where he saw a huge tree gall, from which all the roots extended. It was obvious that this tree gall was causing the chaos.

Without thinking, the Star Zombie directed his thought straight into the tree gall. If Negris saw this, he’d surely give a thumbs up, saying he was truly brave, unafraid of traps that could imprison consciousness.

As soon as he penetrated into the tree gall, the Star Zombie’s thought swept over a pitch-black Abyss Ball—Abyss Bridge—and the entire thought was instantly sucked into the Abyss Bridge.

What happened inside the tree gall synchronized outside, seeing the Abyss Bridge activated, Negris excitedly slapped his waist: "Great, we’ve caught him!"

However, just as he finished speaking, a piercing soul wail abruptly ca from the direction of the Abyss Core, and an armless Star Zombie charged out, crashing into the giant Plane descending.

"The Abyss Bridge didn’t trap him? Failed again? This is the Abyss Bridge’s second failure; this thing is truly useless," Negris exclaid.

But Anthony said, "Yet his other arm is gone, Sir has succeeded."
