The King Fei Lie imdiately projected over, but before he could see what was happening, a slap landed on his face, spinning him twice in the void. Before he could react, a kick hit him square in the chest, sending him flying backward. As he ca to his senses, the Monarch’s fist was already right in front of him.

"Dare to get distracted in a fight with ? You’re asking for death." The Monarch finished his words, having thrown nineteen punches and delivered over twenty kicks, half of which landed on King Fei Lie’s ribcage, leaving him in a ss, struggling to hold his ground, unable to afford any distraction for exploration.

The pace of their lee was extrely fast; losing the advantage could an getting oppressed and taking a long ti to recover.

Ange, anwhile, swaggered as he severed all the soul contacts of the Undead Dragon People, over ninety thousand in total.

King Fei Lie had no idea what was happening and didn’t dare to get distracted to check, only watching, frustrated, as nodes within the soul network were cut off one by one.

It was a massive loss, and even though it was intangible, King Fei Lie felt imnse pain because these Undead Dragon People were his greatest source of Soul Energy.

The souls of ordinary Undead Giant Dragons were so powerful that they had a special na—Dragon Soul. However, the Dragon Souls of these Undead Dragon People originated from a First-Order Dragon God, far stronger than ordinary Dragon Souls. Any one of them could easily transform into a First-Order Dragon God and maintain the transformation.

This ant that the weakest of the Undead Dragon People possessed spiritual power as strong as Ange’s when he transford into a Late Stage Second-tier Dragon God.

The Undead Dragon People possessing such strong spiritual power numbered over ninety thousand under his command, and the quality of their dragon souls was imasurably higher than ordinary ones, making King Fei Lie’s soul network imnsely stable.

Such a stable soul network was now breaking down so rapidly? What on earth was happening? Who was slaying his dragons?

King Fei Lie never considered ’severance’ as an option, having never known that soul networks could be severed, thinking only that soone was slaughtering the Undead Dragon People, and at an astonishing speed—a speed comparable to the skeleton in front of him, killing one with each punch.

Could there be another skeleton of similar rank? If true, once that skeleton finished off his dragons and joined forces against him, he’d be dood.

Annoyed and restless, King Fei Lie rarely had the urge to ’talk things out’: "Who are you?!"

"Undead Overlord!" the Monarch replied, his actions not slowing down in the slightest, becoming more and more excited with the evenly matched fight, recalling the days when he road the wilderness and battled throughout the Empire. Long-forgotten martial techniques surged into his soul.

"Why block ?" King Fei Lie roared.

"To kill you!" the Monarch shouted back with even more force—a Soul Impact.

The Soul Impact had no effect but to asure each other’s Soul Strength, finding them almost equal.

King Fei Lie was imnsely shocked. After lurking for hundreds of thousands of years, he had absorbed and digested so many Dragon Souls, successfully stepping into the realm of Chaos Black Crystal, confident in his power. Even if a Divine Star were before him, he believed he could trample it.

To his surprise, a skeleton appeared out of nowhere, matching him in rank and power. What did all his efforts over the years count for?

"Stop, why are we fighting? We have no animosity." Although unwilling, King Fei Lie suppressed his feelings and spoke these words, representing his concession.

The Monarch’s offensive showed no signs of slowing, talking as he fought: "You attacked my child and say we have no animosity? When I screw off your skull, I’ll make a rattle-drum for my child."

"Your child? Those Star Descendants?" King Fei Lie said in bewildernt.

"What’s the problem? With a bunch of Undead Dragon People, people might mistake you for a Dragon God." The Monarch chatted while fighting, "Enough about , who are you?"

"Great Emperor Fei Lie," King Fei Lie replied.

The Monarch said, "I already know that. I’m asking for your true identity. My child said you ca from another God Star. What are you doing here?"

King Fei Lie remained silent, his actions hesitating, giving the Monarch a chance to attack, landing a punch on his cheek. Boom, a solid hit, another stunning explosion of light followed.

Normally, even a Mourning Skeleton hit directly like that would feel the impact penetrating through the bones, bombarding the soul within the skull.

But the miraculous aspect of the Star Skeleton’s body was that all impact force was absorbed by the bones, dispersing into starlight at the point of impact, then swiftly gathering back. In this disperse-gather cycle, the impact from an attack would dissipate invisibly.

Because of this trait, the Monarch and King Fei Lie hit each other countless tis, yet no damage was caused, transforming this electric battle into a leisurely chat.

The Monarch’s knee strike followed as he punched King Fei Lie away, but King Fei Lie blocked, countering with two swift kicks. Boom! Boom!

Yet another pair of energy burst brilliance and spatial ripples. The Monarch felt that the overly leisurely battle, where every punch and kick could shake space and annihilate everything else.

To be honest, even if Ange were here, there might not be any good way to handle this, not even using skills like Frozen Space or ti-slowing, only Soul Shift escape.

Only a Star Skeleton could withstand a Star Skeleton.

After another fast-paced clash, King Fei Lie, silent for a long ti, suddenly spoke: "The main star sent to capture the Divine Star Soul."

"Divine Star Soul? What’s that?" The Monarch asked confusedly, never having heard of this term.

"The initial stage of a Divine Star’s consciousness, once the Divine Star Soul hatches, it becos a Divine Star. Before that, it’s just a Sun." King Fei Lie said.

"Hatch? A Sun’s egg, huh? Do all Divine Stars have Divine Star Souls?" the Monarch queried.

"No, the vast majority do not. They lack the qualifications to beco Divine Stars. Only those with a Divine Star Soul have the eligibility to hatch a consciousness and beco a true Divine Star." King Fei Lie replied.

The Monarch, intrigued, asked, "Did you get the Divine Star Soul?"

"No, they exiled the Divine Star into the Boundless Space Hole. I couldn’t enter, failed the mission. If I go back to the main star, I’m dood, so I can only remain here." King Fei Lie answered.

"Wait, wait, you’re here to seize the soul of this God Star—" The Monarch quickly pointed to the Divine Star, visible like a small green bean in the distance, continuing: "Or to seize the soul of the Ancient Godlight?"

Due to the Monarch pointing towards the Divine Star, the rhythm of the battle briefly paused. King Fei Lie didn’t attack but instead retreated, distancing himself from the Monarch. Seeing this, the Monarch didn’t pursue, and both disengaged, temporarily halting the battle.

"The soul of the Ancient Godlight. The Ancient Godlight was exiled, forcing here. This Sun has no Divine Star Soul," King Fei Lie said.
