Jas Grant was taken aback by these words, but he quickly realized what was going on.

It seed like, once again, he subconsciously regarded Sharon as his own.

Almost instinctively, Jas looked towards Evelyn Clayton, and seeing her clear and lucid eyes, he felt a complex mix of emotions.

Keith Donovan didn’t have a chance to speak before Evelyn Clayton calmly spoke up.

"Young Master Donovan, I know what you want to say. It’s nothing more than wanting to discuss the custody of Sharon."

Upon hearing this, Jas Grant glanced at Sharon, his hand slightly clenched, and said in a deep voice, "Evelyn, the child is still here..."

"It’s okay, Uncle Grant." Sharon’s big, sparkling eyes looked up, "Mommy has talked to about these things already."

Before leaving the house, Evelyn Clayton had spoken with Sharon about these matters.

She knew Sharon could understand and also knew that Sharon would be understanding about it.

That’s why Evelyn Clayton talked about this matter in front of Sharon directly.

Jas Grant was amazed at Sharon’s precocious intelligence, but inevitably he also felt worried.

This child, being so clever and mature, in the future perhaps...

"When it cos to custody, I think the most important person to respect is Sharon," Evelyn Clayton lightly raised an eyebrow, "Otherwise, even if you bring in the best lawyer, as long as Sharon disagrees, I absolutely won’t give you the custody rights."

Keith Donovan had hardly ever been through such a situation, especially not with the child present, so he felt particularly uncomfortable.

Moreover, this made his impression of Evelyn Clayton worsen.

Keith Donovan’s smile faded slightly, "Evelyn, even if the child is mature, we shouldn’t just bluntly say these things..."

"Uncle Donovan, you’re not my biological dad, nor my godfather, so why are you concerned about the custody issue?"

Suddenly, Sharon spoke up, looking straight at Keith Donovan with sincere eyes.

Keith Donovan found himself at a loss for words.

Evelyn Clayton’s expression grew increasingly proud.

Jas Grant hadn’t expected Sharon to directly address Keith Donovan like that.

He glanced at Keith Donovan, motioning for him to remain silent.

Keith Donovan almost found the situation amusing in his frustration.

Evelyn Clayton leisurely said at this mont, "Sharon, don’t be rude. Uncle Donovan is just looking out for Uncle Grant."

She then lightly smiled as she glanced at the two across from her, "Young Master Donovan, don’t be too agitated. After all, even Jas hasn’t said anything yet."

Jas Grant’s gaze quietly moved between Evelyn Clayton and Sharon.

After a while, he slowly spoke, "I’ve already given this matter so thought, and of course, I respect Sharon’s wishes."

"That’s great," Evelyn Clayton smiled warmly, "But I’m not a heartless person, and I know you want to spend more ti with Sharon, so I’m here mainly to discuss this."

"You want to see Sharon more, that’s fine, but you have to agree to two conditions first."

At this point, Evelyn Clayton paused slightly, gently looking at Sharon, "Sharon, would you mind going to the other room to play for a while?"

Evelyn Clayton specifically booked this private room today, which had a rest area in the other room.

Sharon obediently went over.

Jas Grant didn’t quite understand, but still asked, "What do you want to agree to?"

Only after the door had closed did Evelyn Clayton continue speaking.

"First, I need you to sign an agreent, ensuring that you won’t initiate any lawsuits to fight for Sharon’s custody during this period; second, I need you to help arrange collaboration between the Sinclair Family and Thorne under Sumr Monroe."
