When Evelyn Clayton said this, little Sharon, who had been quietly eating, also looked up.

She seed sowhat puzzled as she said, "Mommy, are you talking about a godfather? Do I need another godfather? Isn’t Daddy Quinn enough?"

Evelyn Clayton smiled and patted Sharon’s head, "If you think one is enough, then it’s enough."

Keith Donovan’s smile almost faltered.

He couldn’t quite tell if Sharon was being deliberate or not, feeling a mix of exasperation and amusent.

Indeed, she is Jas Grant’s daughter... just a couple of words and he was left speechless.

Jas Grant didn’t pay much attention to it, but he was curious about the "Daddy Quinn."

To be honest, Jas Grant mostly felt a twinge of jealousy.

But he didn’t want Evelyn Clayton to find out he was a little jealous, so he casually asked Sharon, "Who is this Daddy Quinn you’re talking about?"

Sharon swallowed a spoonful of egg custard, looking satisfied as she said, "It’s Daddy Quinn! He’s really handso! And he can race cars!"

Once she said this, Jas Grant instantly knew who it was.

Aethelburg is only so big; soone who could be in contact with both the Sinclair Family and Evelyn Clayton, who could be Sharon’s godfather, could only be Samuel Quinn.

Jas Grant subconsciously exchanged glances with Keith Donovan, both seed lost in thought.

Evelyn Clayton calmly continued eating her al, pretending not to notice the exchange of glances between the two across from her.

Jas Grant finally couldn’t hold back, "Samuel Quinn is Sharon’s godfather?"

"Indeed." Evelyn Clayton lightly smiled, "What’s the matter?"

"Nothing, just surprised." Jas Grant’s eyes darkened a bit, "So the day I t him, that was the day you had Sharon recognize him as her godfather?"

Evelyn Clayton’s smile deepened, "Yes, you’re quite clever to have guessed it right away."

Jas Grant’s heart sank slightly.

He endured for a long ti, carefully choosing his words, "Do you know the reputation Samuel Quinn has out there? Having Sharon recognize him as a godfather, if this spreads, it might—"

"Sharon is just a few years old?" Evelyn Clayton’s eyes turned cold, "Do you think others will make such associations? If there were such people, neither the Sinclair Family nor the Quinn Family would associate with them."

Keith Donovan couldn’t help but interject: "Even if they don’t associate, it sounds unpleasant to say it out loud. Jas is just considering Sharon’s best interest..."

"You all think Samuel Quinn is a playboy?" Evelyn Clayton chuckled lightly, "No offense, Young Master Donovan, but I think your number of girlfriends in Riversend isn’t any fewer than Samuel Quinn’s, is it?"

Keith Donovan was hit where it hurt, sheepishly replied, "Why bring that up? Aren’t we talking about Samuel Quinn?"

"It seems like you both really want to interfere in Sharon’s matters, as if you view Sharon as your possession." Evelyn Clayton raised an amused eyebrow, "Anyone unaware might think you both have custody of Sharon."

Jas Grant’s expression shifted slightly, gravely said, "Evelyn, you know that’s not what I an..."

Evelyn Clayton’s expression turned slightly cold, "What you an doesn’t matter to . All I know is, I kindly brought my child to et you today, yet you’re interfering and critiquing and Sharon, which makes uncomfortable."

Beside them, little Sharon naturally sensed the tense atmosphere, she looked between Evelyn Clayton and Jas Grant.

"Uncle Grant." Sharon’s voice was sweet and adorable, "You need to apologize to and mommy! I recognized Uncle Quinn as my godfather because I really like Uncle Quinn, isn’t it the most important that Sharon likes them if I’m going to recognize godfathers and godmothers?"
