Lynn Yates chuckled softly.

But the laugh was more of a cold scoff, and Clara Yates stiffened slightly: "What are you laughing at?!"

"Nothing, just think your ideas are a bit naive." Lynn turned the steering wheel, "You followed just to say this?"

Clara was a bit flustered, "What do you an by naive? Are you saying I’m wrong? Tangling with Jas Grant like this, do you think people outside don’t have eyes? There’s a rumor going around that Jas is devoted to Evelyn Clayton, but you refuse to let go... That’s the mild version, I haven’t said the worse ones yet!"

Lynn laughed leisurely: "Did all their talk stop from earning a penny?"

At this point, Lynn seed a bit hesitant, "And recently, because of the rumors about , Jas Grant, and Evelyn Clayton, the stock price of The Yates Group increased. I even made more money."

She glanced at Clara with a smile, "Or where do you think the money for the bags I bought for mom and you recently ca from?"

Clara was taken aback, then her face flushed red, she turned her face away in anger.

"I can’t reason with you; all you think about is making money!"

A shadow flickered in Lynn’s eyes.

Indeed, she thought about nothing but making money.

As for Jas Grant...

Clara had always been curious whether she ever liked Jas Grant.

Perhaps she did.

An accomplished man, with an outstanding appearance, from a similarly wealthy family, felt like a tailor-made partner for her.

But what use is it to like soone?

Hmm, that’s the most useless thing.

For instance, a long ti ago, probably when she and Jas Grant first got engaged.

She very briefly hoped for a mont that maybe Jas Grant would be hers.

But soon, reality shattered that hope.

Lynn Yates never thought about it again.

"Stop stalking , and don’t tell mom and dad about my affairs." Lynn glanced at Clara Yates, "Otherwise, I’ll tell mom that from now on your allowance will be issued by , and how much you get will depend on my mood."

Clara was taken aback, then erupted in anger: "You—"

Lynn chuckled, eyes full of teasing triumph at successfully provoking her sister.

The next day, Keith Donovan made another trip to Harvestide Holdings.

This ti it was about a new project, Keith barely caught his breath while holding the docunts, entering the office with a grievance that could sink a ghost ship.

"You said yesterday I should rest!" Keith grumbled, "And today you’re ordering around!"

Jas Grant rarely showed a hint of apology, "This is the last ti; you can go back and rest now."

Keith rolled his eyes, slumped onto the sofa, "Looks like I’ve got a life of toil. Anything else, just order it all at once!"

Jas thought for a mont, there indeed was.

"t with Lynn Yates yesterday." Jas spoke blandly, "Charles Yates wants to inject capital into Harvestide Holdings, but I refused. Keep an eye on The Yates Family’s movents and inform imdiately of any updates."

Keith was slightly surprised: "You t Lynn Yates... was it Charles Yates who instigated it?"

Jas’s long lashes drooped slightly, revealing a hint of aloofness, "Not sure, but most likely."

Keith perked up: "What did Lynn Yates have to say?"

Jas wasn’t busy at the mont, he patiently retold Lynn’s words from last night to Keith, word for word.

Keith was slightly stunned, as if enchanted, slowly saying: "Lynn Yates... she’s really sothing."

"Like her?" Jas showed no reaction, signing off docunts without looking up, "You could pursue her."

Keith was uncharacteristically silent.

Jas looked up at him, seeing him deep in thought, with a touch of interest in his eyes.

Seems like Keith really is interested in Lynn Yates?

Taking advantage of the mont, Jas rarely pulled out a smile while looking at Keith.

"If you really like her, go ahead and pursue her. Besides, you can keep an eye on The Yates Family."
