"The fall/winter fashion show is in just two days. Have we finalized our spokesperson?"

In the Gem eting room, it was rare for Violet Ford and Franklin Ford to show up for a eting.

Evelyn Clayton showed the resu of Nadia Archer to the two of them, "We signed the contract a few days ago. She was originally with Aegis."

Violet raised an eyebrow slightly at this but said nothing more, carefully reading through it before showing a satisfied expression.

"I trust you completely with this." Violet smiled, then looked at Franklin Ford, "What do you think, Franklin?"

Franklin’s expression remained unchanged, "Should we consider soone with higher recognition?"

Evelyn heard this and analytically assessed the current situation of Gem.

"Gem is just starting out, and we might not be able to afford soone more famous. The budget isn’t enough." Evelyn explained, "Even if we could manage, there would be much external speculation. Right now, for the spokesperson we invite, suitability is more important than fa."

Nadia Archer indeed seed suitable.

Gem specializes in mid-to-high-end won’s clothing, mostly long dresses and suits, and Nadia’s temperant fits it perfectly.

"Since she’s suitable, I have no objections." Franklin smiled gently, his gaze subtly sweeping across the other employees in the eting room.

Yara Reagan reacted quickly, smiling as she looked at the other employees, "Alright, let’s adjourn."

Once the other employees left, Yara eagerly returned.

"How about John Jacobs’ issue?" Yara was even more concerned than Evelyn, "Did we find the mastermind behind it?"

Violet sighed deeply, looking quite troubled, "It’s very tricky. Right now, all we know is that John Jacobs died of a sudden heart attack—of course, that’s the conclusion the Y Province police beautified. Digging deeper, we’re facing significant resistance."

The nature of this resistance was obvious.

Evelyn’s expression beca more grave, "Given the situation, further investigation might be counterproductive. The more desperate we seem, the bigger our actions, and the better the mastermind will hide."

Franklin nodded, "Actually, my sister and I both suspect Sumr Monroe’s involvent."

His straightforwardness even startled Evelyn a little.

Evelyn instinctively glanced at Violet, but saw her completely at ease, as if she and Franklin had long agreed to lay it all out in the open.

"Sumr... is indeed suspicious." Evelyn carefully chose her words, "However, her identity is also very sensitive."

Yara spoke bluntly, "I’ve always been curious about Sumr’s background. She only has Heather Donovan as her mother, but why is her father never ntioned?"

"It’s not just you. I’ve been investigating this for many years too." Violet chuckled softly, part mockery, part derision, "But after so many years, there’s no clue. Back when Felix was still around, he was extrely protective of her, and gradually it just faded away."

Evelyn’s expression held a pondering intent, "Could the force backing Sumr be related to her biological father?"

Her question was hesitant, but it silenced everyone present.

After a long pause, Violet exhaled, breaking the silence.

"Speculation is pointless, after all. I will keep investigating, and you all be careful. Your focus has been on the fall/winter show, and it’s been exhausting. Once the show is over, co over for dinner."

The Ford siblings ca and left quickly.

Evelyn and Yara both had heavy hearts.

Yara glanced enigmatically at Evelyn, "I have a feeling there’s sothing Violet and Director Ford are not telling us."

Evelyn turned her gaze, t Yara’s eyes for a mont, and then looked away.

"It might be Ford family matters." Evelyn spoke in a low tone, "In any case, it’s unrelated to us, and since they don’t intend to say, we shouldn’t ask too much."

Yara nodded.

Suddenly recalling sothing, she appeared hesitant again.

"By the way, have you heard recently? Sumr’s Thorne Entertainnt stock prices have plumted. Apparently, it’s Jas Grant’s doing."
