This originally sarcastic question.

But Lynn Yates doesn’t care.

She holds her bag, her expression cold, "The recent fluctuations in Thorne Entertainnt’s stock price, is this your doing?"

"Yes." Jas Grant doesn’t hesitate, "What about it?"

Lynn exhaled silently and got straight to the point, "Harvestide Holdings has been picking up under your managent. My father found out and said he wants to et you. I don’t know if you’re still willing."

After saying this, as if trying to make up for sothing, Lynn’s tone softened a bit: "We’ve already discussed the previous events. You probably know what kind of person my father is. What’s between you and is purely a mutual benefit, you can choose to refuse."

Jas walked to the desk, extinguished his cigarette, "Refuse what? Refuse Charles Yates’ offer of a mutual benefit?"

Lynn said nothing.

After a long while, she spoke slowly like an old friend, "These past few days, my family has been arguing intensively. So say you’ve improved, and I should continue the engagent with you, while others say your heart belongs to soone else, making you unsuitable to marry ..."

"Jas Grant, haven’t you made up your mind by now?"

Lynn’s question was subtle, but Jas knew very well what she ant.

She was asking Jas to choose, either sincerely continue with their mutual benefit agreent or go and find whom he should be with.

It sounded so easy.

But bitterness filled Jas’ heart.

How could it be so easy?

That person seed to have long stopped wanting him.

"Marriage is not the end of a relationship, nor is it the beginning." Jas replied evasively, "Life is long, spanning decades, not every delay leads to change."

Jas looked at Lynn, "Do you understand what I an?"

Lynn raised an eyebrow, her cold eyes slightly shifting, "I understand. Then, Jas Grant, when you do decide to end things, you better not leave both emotionally and financially drained, losing everything."

With that, Lynn stood up for departure.

As she reached the door, Lynn paused, turning back to look at Jas.

"By the way, I recently did business with Evelyn. She can let go of the past and start anew. Are you really so unwilling to accept my help?"

Lynn had ntioned more than once about injecting capital for Jas.

But Jas had declined more than once as well.

Today was no different.

At this mont, Jas paced behind his desk to sit, leisurely looking at Lynn, the aning in his eyes unmistakable.

"Alright, I understand."

Lynn turned and left, her eyes colder than ever.

She respects everyone’s destiny.

Arriving at the parking lot, Lynn took out her keys, ready to leave when she saw a familiar figure approaching quickly toward her.

Lynn stopped, squinting slightly to see.

That person ca closer, standing still, looking at Lynn with complex eyes.

"Clara," Lynn was not too surprised, "Are you following ?"

Clara Yates seed awkward, glancing in the direction Lynn ca from, speaking with a tone that wasn’t quite friendly: "Am I that idle?"

Lynn no longer paid attention to her and got in the car to leave.

Clara thickened her skin and sat in the passenger seat.

"Lynn, I really don’t know what you’re thinking."

In the car, Clara couldn’t hold back anymore and turned to look at her.

Lynn started the car calmly, "Thinking what?"

"What exactly is your attitude towards Jas Grant? If you don’t like him, then just kick him out! Doesn’t Jas Grant have deep feelings for that Evelyn Clayton?" Clara brought it up angrily, "If you like him, then steal his heart from Evelyn Clayton!"
