Leaving Monroe Holdings, Jas Grant made a trip back to the old mansion.

The reason was nothing but the rapid spread of news. As soon as Jas Grant finished the shareholders’ eting, Harrison Grant had already heard about the big shift at Monroe Holdings.

The rain started in the morning, casting a thin mist over the Grant Family’s garden, inexplicably gloomy.

Jas Grant naturally didn’t want to return to the old mansion, nor did he want to see Harrison Grant and Jasper Grant for the ti being.

But given the current situation, he had no choice but to et them.

As he walked through the garden, the main door was open, and the faint aroma of food drifted out, along with the sounds of laughter.

Even without getting closer, Jas Grant could clearly see Harrison Grant dining with Shirley Owens and Jasper Grant, the three of them sitting at the table having brunch, chatting and laughing.

This was his ho, the place he grew up, but now another family was there, as if it no longer belonged to him.

Jas Grant held his suit jacket with his long arms, standing under the umbrella at the steps for a long ti.

His wide shoulders were half-soaked by the splattering rain, yet he seed oblivious, standing there for a long duration.

It wasn’t until the butler ca out to greet him, slightly flustered upon seeing him in the drizzle: "Young Master, when did you arrive? Co inside quickly, the Master, Madam, and Second Young Master have been waiting for you."

Jas Grant’s dark eyes shifted slightly, lowering his eyelids, he responded with a cool and indifferent "hmm," and walked up the steps.

Upon entering the main building, the dry warmth of the heating rely ward Jas Grant’s face, while the chill in his body showed no sign of easing.

Harrison Grant was the first to look over, smiling warmly as he sat in his place: "Jas, you’ve arrived, we were just waiting for you."

A servant stepped forward to take his umbrella and coat, offering slippers. Jas Grant lowered his gaze silently, changed his shoes, and walked straight to the long dining table.

Shirley Owens was seated in the hostess’s chair, almost getting up, her smile perpetually insincere: "Jas, you’re back. Your father was just talking about you."

Jas Grant didn’t even offer her a glance. After sitting down, he slightly raised his eyelids, looking directly at Harrison Grant: "Why did you call back?"

Harrison Grant’s brow furrowed slightly, a flash of displeasure crossed his face, but he quickly resud his calm smile.

He was, to so extent, satisfied with the recent events regarding Monroe Holdings.

"I heard you’ve acquired most of Monroe Holdings’ shares and that the company has changed hands," said Harrison Grant, grinning so widely it seed hard to suppress, "Well done, truly my son!"

Jasper Grant also cast a smiling glance at Jas, "Big brother, you’ve really outdone yourself this ti. Not only has it dealt a blow to Sumr Monroe, but also suppressed The Ford Group’s arrogance."

Jas Grant glanced coolly at Jasper Grant, nodding perfunctorily as a response.

The smile on Shirley Owens’ face had been strained ever since Harrison Grant spoke; now it looked even uglier.

What was Jas Grant being so proud of?

Shirley Owens chuckled lightly, pretending to speak inadvertently: "I heard Sumr Monroe has woken up these past few days, her condition improving too."

Harrison Grant frowned upon hearing this, "When did this happen? I hadn’t heard."

Jasper Grant added, "It might just be temporary. But I’ve heard soone donated blood to Sumr Monroe. Her blood type is special, and once the blood supply runs out, her condition might deteriorate again."

A flicker of astonishnt flashed in Jas Grant’s eyes.

Blood donation... Was it Evelyn Clayton?

As expected, Harrison Grant was the first to speculate, with a light snort: "Could it be that Evelyn Clayton gave her blood?"

Shirley Owens glanced lightly at Jas Grant, observing his expression had darkened, a glint of satisfaction in her eyes.

"Supposedly, it was Heather Donovan who found soone for her own daughter; she truly has so impressive tactics."
