"Bah! You think I don’t know what you’re here for? Stop pretending to be so hypocritical!"

Heather Donovan spat with earth-shattering disdain, catching the attention of passing patients and nurses.

Franklin Ford’s face instantly turned ashen, maintaining his last bit of composure without speaking.

Heather Donovan’s eyes were bloodshot, glaring at Franklin with an air of genuine emotion, "It’s all your fault Sumr is in this ss! You must have done sothing to her for the group’s shares and assets!"

The more she spoke, the more agitated she beca, as if determined to escalate the matter, her voice almost threatening to lift the roof off the hospital building.

Evelyn Clayton looked at her coldly, "Mrs. Donovan, don’t get too worked up. We’re really just here to check on Sumr’s condition. Director Ford has been with and Yara Reagan the whole day, so don’t make baseless accusations."

"We don’t need your concern!" Heather’s eyes were nearly popping out of her head.

Then she turned and glared viciously at the nurse at the nurses’ station, "Who allowed you to divulge patient privacy?!"

The young nurse was startled, mumbling without daring to speak.

Yara Reagan looked at Heather Donovan’s ferocious face with indescribable disbelief.

After berating the nurse, Heather turned back and fixed her stare on Franklin.

"I will never let you harm our Sumr again!"

Franklin’s forehead throbbed with visible veins.

He looked at Heather Donovan indifferently, "Aunt, in your current state, I think anything I say is futile. Let’s talk when you’ve cald down."

Heather sneered, "Can’t keep up the act any longer? Franklin Ford, do you think everyone else is an idiot? After Felix passed away, you couldn’t hide your intentions, could you? Let tell you, don’t even dream about it! As long as Sumr runs The Ford Group, she always will!"

Evelyn could no longer bear it and called Franklin, "Director, let’s go. There’s no need to waste words."

Saying this, Evelyn looked at Heather Donovan with mocking arrogance.

"Sumr has doctors; she doesn’t need anyone’s concern, especially not from those who bite the hand that feeds them."

Franklin gave Evelyn a grateful glance and turned to leave first.

"Leaving for real?" Yara looked at Heather Donovan with displeasure, "What kind of person is this..."

Evelyn gently pulled on her hand.

"Have you forgotten?" Evelyn’s eyes were as calm as a deep pool, "Sumr needs my blood; she’ll co back to ."

Yara trembled and said no more, made a disdainful gesture at Heather, and quickly left with Evelyn.

Heather stood in place, enraged but unable to chase after them.

Her face ashen, she entered the patient room.

Sumr was still in the surgical departnt for a check-up. She locked the patient room door and dialed Harrison Grant.

Harrison answered quickly, his voice tinged with impatience.

"What is it?"

Detecting the coldness in his tone, Heather felt discontent but dared not protest, lowering her voice with a hint of pleading.

"Sumr, Sumr’s in trouble, and she might need a blood transfusion! The hospital doesn’t have more of her rare blood type; could you—"

"No."

Harrison’s refusal was blunt and rciless.

Heather almost cried out, "Why?!"

"Are you stupid?!" Harrison’s voice suddenly rose, full of displeasure, "Evelyn is already suspicious of now! If I contact her again, won’t it confirm her suspicions about ?"

Heather was furious but didn’t dare to speak, trembling with rage.

On the other end, Harrison paused, suspiciously saying, "Perhaps your daughter’s accident this ti is Evelyn’s doing—"
