"I ca specifically to discuss this matter." Jasper Grant said seriously, "That Tim Young just agreed, saying we can et to discuss the details of the collaboration, but he has to go on a business trip tonight, so there’s only the afternoon."

Hearing this, Jas Grant slightly raised an eyebrow, a touch of inexplicable irony flashing through his almond-shaped eyes.

"Does that an, after today, discussions are off the table?"

Jasper Grant gave a light cough, "I think that’s the implication."

With a soft chuckle, Jas Grant stood up and walked out in a rather leisurely manner.

"In that case, let’s go."

The two brothers got into the car, and it was then that Jasper Grant realized belatedly with so worry.

"Tim Young probably already knows about us and Sumr Monroe..." Jasper Grant slightly furrowed his brows, "What if he takes the opportunity to escalate the price?"

Lowering his gaze, Jas Grant concealed the indifferent sneer deep in his eyes.

He naturally had a plan; otherwise, he wouldn’t be eting Tim Young.

The eting was set at The Beaumont Hotel.

After arriving, Jas Grant was the first to get out of the car, but he paused in his steps.

"Brother, what’s wrong?" Jasper Grant asked, sowhat puzzled.

Jas Grant replied blandly, "You wait in the car. I’ll talk to him alone."

Without waiting for Jasper Grant’s response, Jas Grant walked straight into the hotel’s main entrance.

However, he didn’t notice that behind him, a fleeting shadow crossed Jasper Grant’s usually clear eyes, disappearing in an instant.

On the top floor of The Beaumont Hotel, Jas Grant arrived alone at the door of the only suite on the floor, raising his hand with a show of reluctance and stepped into the private room.

"Oh my, Director Grant is here?"

Soon, Tim Young erged from the inner room of the suite upon hearing the noise.

His greasy, large face bore a shrewd smile as he stepped forward to shake hands with Jas Grant.

He discreetly glanced behind Jas Grant, surprised to see he was alone, his smile tinged with unexpectedness.

"Why did Director Grant co alone? I’m sorry for not welcoming you properly, please don’t hold it against . Please, have a seat."

Jas Grant gave a faint smile, unfazed by it.

The two sat down, separated by a long table.

Leaning back in his chair, Tim Young chuckled as he looked at Jas Grant, "I don’t have much ti, so let’s get straight to it. Director Grant, you’re a straightforward person, shall we get to the point, is that okay?"

Jas Grant looked at Tim Young, who seed polite and civil, and didn’t point it out, his smile faint and casual.

"Please, Director Young, go ahead."

Tim Young handed a blue file to Jas Grant, "I heard a few days ago that Director Grant and Director Monroe from The Ford Group had suspended a project collaboration. I found it quite regrettable. However, before this, Director Monroe had already given this project bid docunt; perhaps Director Grant would like to take a look?"

Upon hearing this, Jas Grant’s brows slightly twitched, and he took the file to browse through it.

Seeing the bid provided by Sumr Monroe’s side, the smile in his eyes gradually turned cold.

Jas Grant lifted his eyelids and noticed the smugness hidden in Tim Young’s smile across the table.

In an instant, he understood everything.

It seed this bid was given to Tim Young later by Sumr Monroe herself.

The tactic was to initially present an exceptionally low bid, allowing Tim Young to deceive him so that when he proposed cooperation, they could swindle a sum.

Sumr Monroe had counted on him not giving up on this collaboration, thinking he would have no choice but to accept the losses.

A cold smile crept out from the edge of Jas Grant’s thin lips. The intense handso face was sowhat intimidating, and his faintly smiling yet nonchalant deanor inexplicably instilled fear in people.

Tim Young couldn’t help but tense up, lightly coughing, "Director Grant, do you find this bid acceptable?"

Jas Grant’s lips slightly curled, yet his emotions remained unreadable.

"It seems, I have no reason to refuse, do I?"
