Upon hearing this, a fleeting hint of joy flashed in Tim Young’s eyes.
Thinking Jas Grant had accepted, his tone began to grow arrogant.
He chuckled slowly, "I knew it, Director Grant is a smart man and certainly wouldn’t be inflexible! Now that Director Thornton has ceased cooperation with you, if you’re interested in partnering with The Young Group, you ought to show so sincerity, right?"
Jas Grant raised his eyes, the coldness in them montarily terrifying as it disappeared.
This so-called sincerity required him to make a losing deal while wearing a fake smile?
Jas Grant found it both laughable and absurd, just wanting to see what other cards Tim Young would play, he asked with a half-smile, "So, the offer in this docunt is Director Young’s expected price?"
"Eh, not exactly."
Suddenly, Tim Young sat up straight, his beady eyes gleaming with even more greed, he chuckled, "After all, these were the quotes given by Director Thornton previously, which we agreed to as a concession to The Ford Group. Now, if you want to collaborate with alone, naturally, you should yield an additional three percent."
Three percent...
The last hint of a smile on Jas Grant’s face finally turned into indifference, leaving only faint disdain.
Seeing his silence, Tim Young couldn’t help but chuckle softly, reminding, "After all, Director Thornton is full of sincerity, and The Ford Group is quite popular right now."
Seeing Tim Young playing both sides, trying to exploit the situation knowing he and Sumr Monroe were secretly contending, Jas Grant even felt a desire to cease all collaboration.
Even if one cooperated with soone like him, it would be nothing but trouble in the future.
But Jas Grant knew that at this mont, he had no better choice.
Letting out a faint laugh, Jas Grant lifted his dense lashes, the coldness in his long eyes sending chills down the spine.
He fixed his gaze on Tim Young, his thin lips curving slightly, "Director Young, let’s not talk about this. I recall that The Beaumont Hotel is your asset, right?"
Not understanding why Jas Grant suddenly brought this up, Tim Young was slightly taken aback, instinctively responding, "Yes, what’s wrong?"
"Nothing, just curious." Jas Grant lazily leaned back in his chair, his tone light and slow, gradually reclaiming the upper hand, "Does Mrs. Young know that the actual controlling shareholder of The Beaumont Hotel isn’t you, but a woman nad Lin?"
Tim Young’s face suddenly changed, "What did you say?"
He stared intently at Jas Grant, hardly believing his ears.
How could he know?
Watching Tim Young’s face turn from shock to fear, Jas Grant sneered, his contempt for Tim Young’s actions peaking.
Tim Young had risen by marrying into his wife’s family, supposedly even changing his surna after marrying into the wife’s family.
Though Mrs. Young retreated behind the scenes giving Tim Young face, her decisive and strong thods still held the lifeline of The Young Group.
Even so, under his wife’s nose, Tim Young maintained a mistress.
The shares of The Beaumont Hotel were secretly transferred by Tim Young to a woman nad Lin.
Why Tim Young was willing to be so generous to a mistress and what other motives there might be, Jas Grant didn’t really care.
When he first learned of this, he hesitated, unsure whether to use it against Tim Young.
After all, it wasn’t a noble tactic, and he disdained using a woman as leverage.
But Tim Young had completely dispelled any of his doubts right from the start.
"I’ve heard Mrs. Young is decisive in her actions. If she were to find out certain things, would Director Young’s future still be assured?"
Looking at the leisurely smiling Jas Grant, Tim Young’s expression shifted from dark to pale, ultimately being ashen and silent.
After a while, Tim Young stood up, no longer arrogant or dismissive as before, only appearing lifeless.
He extended his hand, his deanor desolate, almost grinding his teeth.
"It’s an honor for The Young Group to collaborate with Director Grant."
