"Here, let show you." Rather than explaining with words, he decided it was simpler to show it to them. With a flick of his wrist, two small atballs appeared from his inventory, each made using roughly 500 grams of at from Tier 7 mana beasts.
Both Rina and Fiora curiously took the atballs, looking at them with raised eyebrows.
Rina tilted her head slightly, "atballs? Master, you’ve been eating just these tiny things to fill yourself up all this ti?"
Orion chuckled lightly, shaking his head in amusent, "Don’t look down on my diet. These aren’t normal atballs; give them a try."
The two of them looked at each other curiously and shrugged lightly. Each of them ate the whole atball in one bite.
In an instant, their eyes widened, a look of astonishnt appearing on their beautiful faces.
Not only were the atballs incredibly delicious, but they also contained a vast amount of pure energy. The concentrated essence within quickly flowed throughout their mana channels.
Rina unconsciously murmured in surprise, clearly enjoying the flavor, "These are truly delicious, Master. It feels like a warm wave of energy spreading through !"
anwhile, inside Orion’s Sea of Consciousness, Lumi’s mischievous voice echoed teasingly,
[Of course, how can my Master’s balls not taste amazing? (〃^▽^〃)]
Orion’s face imdiately twitched violently, the corners of his mouth curving downwards as he struggled to maintain composure.
Internally, he felt an intense urge to give Lumi a well-deserved spanking. But he decided to just ignore her, as giving in here and arguing with her would only fuel her entertainnt.
So he took a deep breath to calm down and ignored her playful words. After calming down, he looked at Rina with a smile and nodded his head, "See? Now you don’t have to worry about how I fill myself. These are more than good enough, and I can make these types of atballs with various degrees of at."
Rina and Fiora nodded in understanding, their eyes still reflecting amazent as they continued savoring the aftertaste of the surprisingly delicious atballs.
At that mont, multiple footsteps could be heard approaching the room from outside, followed by a knock at the door.
The dishes they ordered began to arrive one by one. The table was soon filled with various delicacies, mouthwatering aromas perating the entire private room.
Orion imdiately began his devouring, savoring the food without reservation. Fiora, being half-dragon herself, also ate enthusiastically, nearly matching Orion’s speed.
Rina enjoyed the food moderately, occasionally giggling at the ravenous duo beside her while also making fun of them by comparing them to hungry ghosts.
Their chatter filled the room as they savored the delicious feast.
Suddenly, the door swung open without warning, drawing their attention. Arya stepped inside first, a radiant smile on her face as her eyes imdiately located Orion.
Behind her, Nyss, Emilia, and the others followed after. They had already gotten Orion’s news and had rushed over as quickly as they could.
This was the first ti so of them had t with Orion after the ruin exploration. They were also excited to et Orion and wanted to ask where he ended up after that incident.
Even though they had already got a rough understanding of the situation from Arya, they still wanted to talk with Orion. Especially Elias, since he had the best relationship with Orion rather than the others.
But as usual, the first to speak was Arya, as she chirped in her sweet voice, "Brother Orion! Finally, we found you! We had to search half of the city before we found you here."
Orion chuckled at her words, "Don’t pull my legs. The Princess of the Kingdom doesn’t even have this little network to know about my whereabouts? Not even a ghost will believe that. And especially with Nyss on your side."
Nyss’ lips curled into a small smile hearing Orion’s words, she lightly nodded her head in greeting while taking a seat across him and saying, "Well, it wasn’t hard to locate you since you didn’t hide your whereabouts. Declaring your na as soon as you ca to the city gates."
Arya playfully stuck her tongue out and also took her seat, "Let’s eat. It’s Brother Orion’s treat today from the looks of it."
The others also took their seats while looking at Rina and Fiora with strange faces, Kale lightly asked, "Will these two help you with the test? Or did you bring them out to train them? I don’t think they can help you much."
Orion just shrugged with a smile, "They wouldn’t let leave alone so I had to bring them with ."
The two of them simultaneously looked at Orion with slightly red faces, Rina said, "That’s— We only ca here to train. We can’t help Master with our strength anyway."
Elias nodded his head in understanding, "You nobles really have different ways of thinking. Most of the students are panicking while thinking about how to pass while you bring out your maids to train them. Though, they might not be as simple as maids to you."
At the end of his words, his lips had curled into a smug smile as he felt a few gazes focusing on Orion. He still hadn’t forgotten how Orion had teased him before regarding him and Felira. So this could be considered a little interest.
Orion raised an eyebrow hearing the blatant instigation in his voice, he swiftly replied, "Of course. They are far more than just re maids to . But this is a discussion for another ti. Now that you are here, tell about the situation."
The others looked at each other before Sylvia nodded her head and said, "Well, the situation isn’t as bad as we thought. This is not the main battlefield. We only have to fight against the beasts which have managed to sneak past the main battlefield at the front. So people here mostly only have to fight hordes of Tier 4-6 demons."
Nyss took over the conversation and said, "But there are also so high-level demons who manage to slip past the net at the front. There is an old city lord at the Exalted Grade so we don’t have to worry about beasts above Ninth Level. But City Lord won’t take action below that level to conserve his strength."
Orion nodded his head hearing all these details and softly asked, "How about the demons’ strength? How strong are they compared to the Humans of the sa level?"
This ti Arya replied, "Most of the Demons are only slightly stronger than Humans of the sa level. But there are so Demons with so Noble Bloodlines who are much stronger and a group of people need to besiege them. And so demons are even comparable to us in combat power at the sa level."
Nodding his head in understanding, he continued to ask, "Is there any type of Demon that is comparable to in combat power?"
Elias’s lips twitched hearing his words, "We are fighting against demons, not monsters. I don’t think there will be any demon comparable to you in combat power. However, you might encounter trouble when facing a group of Tier 8 demons or a Tier 9 Demon. They are much stronger than even the Beastkin geniuses we faced before."
Orion’s expression remained nonchalant. If the city wasn’t breached for so long then it wouldn’t happen so soon as well. And the demons he couldn’t take care of? Others would take care of them. There were quite a few Tier 8 and Tier 9 cultivators in the city.
After all, the war has been going on for over a year, and a lot of warriors have been transferred over from the center of the Kingdom to contend against the demons.
He softly said, "I also heard no demon wave has appeared in the last week. Any update regarding that? Or has there been a demon wave in the last week?"
Nyss shook her head slightly, "Not in the past week, but we suspect the demons are gathering strength for a major assault soon. Our scouts have reported suspicious movents in the forests ahead, and more powerful demonic creatures have appeared in larger numbers."
Arya added with a concerned tone, "The city lord mansion has confird this as well. A large-scale battle could happen within the next two or three days. Right now, our priority is to prepare properly and help fortify the city’s defenses."
Orion listened quietly, thoughtfully rubbing his chin before calmly responding, "Since it’s co to this, we should begin coordinating our efforts imdiately. Where are the others from the academy?"
Elias raised an eyebrow, "You want to join hands with them? Aren’t they your competitors?"
Orion exhaled a sigh, "Sigh, the students are too green. A lot of them might die unknowingly at the demons’ hands. And that would be a huge loss for our kingdom. After all, they might not be much now, but most of them have the potential to reach Tier 9, while the lucky ones among them might even reach Exalted Grade."
