Heaven’s POV
I fell to the floor when I got to the hallway. My body began to shake uncontrollably. The tears I had been holding back finally stread down h my cheeks.
I felt like my heart had been broken into t pieces. I already knew that the Alpha’s brother didn’t care much about anymore, but seeeing how Sophia was around them and how they mocked and humiliated really broke .
Physical was way more bearable than the humiliation I had received.
"Heaven?"
I slowly looked up to find Mrs. Higgins standing in front of , frowning. She must have followed because she was worried.
"What did they do to you? She whispered kneeling beside .
I couldn’t answer her, I just nodded my head tears kept falling down my cheeks.
"This is why I didn’t want you to go" Mrs. Higgins murmured as she helped up She gathered and took to her quarters.
Dylan’s POV
"We prepared a surprise for you in your chamber, Sofia." I said quietly
My brothers and I had planned it together. We each picked items that we knew she would like.
"Really?" Sofia asked genuinely excited.
She moved closer and kissed and my brothers on the lips before hurrying to check out the surprise.
"I’ll go check it out," Sophia said with a wide smile then left.
The mont she left, the mood in the room changed.
"I just know that mute is in a corner crying her eyes out," Damon said laughing as he poured himself a drink.
"Well, I’m just glad Sophia has forgiven . That’s all I care about," Damian said as he stood up and began to put on his Shirt
We all nodded in agreent , we truly hated seeing Sophia sad. She completed us and never complained or refused us no matter how tired she was. So the least we could do is to make her happy.
I looked at my brother and they were unusually quiet. I knew exactly who they were thinking about.
"I hate that fucking bitch" Damon scoffed suddenly.
He confird my suspicion, they were all thinking about Heaven.
"Are you sure?" I asked quietly. Damon turned to look at , like he was offended that I would ever doubt it.
"Of course, I despise her." He said confidently.
I didn’t believe him. I c could see in his eyes that he didn’t really an it.
"So, why does it feel like you’re trying to convince yourself?" I said looking at him.
I noticed it years ago. He felt sothing for her and I was sure about it. The way he looked and cared for her.
Then I shifted my attention to Desmond. "And you, don’t act innocent. You’re trying to hide it, but I know you feel sothing."
He look at irritated and his jaw tightened. "I don’t feel anything for that bitch," he snapped.
"You’re lying," I said
"What did she do to the both of you five years ago that made you all hate her so much?" I asked quietly looking at Desmond, Damon then Damian but they said nothing.
They were the reason I beca so hard and harsh towards Heaven. So I needed to know the why.
The truth was that I never truly hated Heaven. I just hated how she made feel. So when my b brothers started to hurt her, I decided to join in and make her their enemy my enemy so that I wouldn’t t continue to feel the way I felt for her.
"Enough," Damian commanded.
"But aren’t you eager to know what Heaven had done to them?" I asked as I turned to Damien.
"I would also like to know, but now isn’t the ti to start digging up the past. So just drop it, Dylan," Damian said turning is back to .
Damian was right. We should n’t have to start digging up the past. I also didn’t want to rember what Heaven had done to , so I let it go.
