Mira stared solemnly at the calm and composed Stella across from her.

"What’s the matter? That serious expression of yours is really not cute at all."

Stella showed no concern for Mira’s caution.

She looked at her casually and said in a soft voice, "No matter how hard you struggle, it’s futile—you know that very well yourself, don’t you? So why not just surrender? Wouldn’t that be easier?"

"My comrades are all fighting with everything they’ve got for the sake of victory, so I can’t allow myself to hesitate here." Mira responded with a carefree smile.

"No matter how powerful you may be, I won’t lose the will to fight."

"Oh?" Stella’s eyes narrowed slightly, revealing a faint, cold smile.

"Then let properly test the resolve of the Demon Mirajane."

Boom—

A burst of magic erupted from Mira’s body.

In her Satan Soul form, she exploded forward with blinding speed, lunging at Stella with a hand crackling with black lightning, claw-like and deadly.

"It’s useless."

Despite the sudden attack, Stella’s smile didn’t waver in the slightest.

She neither dodged nor defended herself—she simply stood there, utterly still.

Puff, Stella’s body was torn apart by Mira’s hand, but the torn body of Stella dissipated like a wave, vanishing completely like a reflection on water.

Without pausing for a mont, Mira continued, flapping her demon wings behind her, quickly circling around the entire area.

"Trying to evade my attack by moving at high speed, huh? That’s quite a clever idea."

Stella’s voice echoed throughout the room, her voice like an illusion, making it impossible for Mira to discern where it was coming from.

"But still, too naive." There was a hint of mockery in Stella’s voice.

Bang!

Mira suddenly felt a sharp pain in her shoulder.

The sudden sensation caused her movents to freeze, and her body lost its balance, falling to the ground.

"Wh-when!" Mira gasped, clutching her bleeding wound in surprise.

"Don’t understand?" Stella’s figure appeared not far from Mira, watching her with a calm expression, then said lightly, "Take a look around."

Mira lifted her head, and when she saw the surrounding scenery, she froze for a mont.

"There’s... no change?"

The surroundings looked exactly the sa as before Mira’s attack, aning that she hadn’t moved at all.

"Just now... even the mont I attacked, was it all an illusion?" Mira asked, her face paling slightly.

"Hehe, you guessed correctly. Now, the next question: Can you be sure, at this mont, whether you’re in reality, or if you’ve entered another illusion?"

Stella looked at Mira, whose expression had grown paler, and let out a light laugh like the sound of silver bells.

"The illusion within reality, the reality within illusion. When dreams and reality blur together, people beco confused, anxious, and desperate... Humans are such fragile beings. The ability to freely manipulate the boundary between reality and illusion—this is my magic, the magic of the Fourth Seat, Stella. ’Illusionary Reality.’"

"Such a magic exists..."

Mira managed to calm herself, looking at Stella and saying, "But your magic definitely has flaws. If your magic were perfect, you wouldn’t only be the Fourth Seat."

"My magic is not perfect, but its flaws are not sothing you can find. Your strength is still far from enough," Stella’s tone beca unusually solemn.

"The reason I am only the Fourth Seat is because the three people ahead of are truly powerful, powerful beyond what ordinary humans can imagine. So they are able to defeat ... But you, you’re still far from being qualified."

Bang.

A faint sound echoed, followed by a wave of pain so intense that it could almost make an ordinary person faint.

The pain instantly spread throughout Mira’s entire body.

"Aaaahhh!!" Mira scread in agony, her body instinctively curling up on the ground, trembling slightly.

"Perhaps it’s best to end it here," Stella said, looking down at Mira with a cold gaze.

She raised her finger and continued, "With my illusions, I can make you experience pain a hundred tis worse than death. The blow just now was only a normal one. Next ti, no matter how strong your will is, you will definitely die."

"C... Damn it, is this really the end?"

Mira, lying on the ground, struggled with unwillingness, trying to get up.

But the pain all over her body made it impossible for her to control her movents freely.

She could only slowly straighten her back, her eyes burning with defiance as she stared at Stella across from her.

"What a pity." Stella’s voice suddenly turned cold.

"Although it’s unfortunate, it seems I must kill you here."

"Is it over?" Mira slowly closed her eyes, a faint bitter smile appearing on her lips.

"I couldn’t even confess my feelings to Noel until the very end. What a pity."

Bang.

Just as Mira thought she heard sothing collide, a muffled grunt followed by the sound of tal clashing reached her ears.

"?!"

Mira opened her eyes in confusion, and what she saw was a crimson glow, as warm and deep as a sunset.

"Hey, Mira, looks like you’re not doing too well."

The familiar voice reached Mira’s ears, causing her to widen her eyes in disbelief as she looked at the figure standing in front of her.

"Erza!!"

Just in the nick of ti, it was Erza who had arrived at the scene, breaking into the Dark Demon Castle.

She stood between Mira and Stella, and across from her, Stella’s expression was slightly darkened.

A clear footprint was pressed into the abdon of her black gown.

"You are, Erza from Fairy Tail?"

Stella looked at the Erza before her and spoke coldly, "I didn’t expect there to be another intruder. But how is it that you can see through my illusion?"

"Too bad, your illusion doesn’t work on ," Erza pointed to her own eyes and said, "I had an accident before, and one of my eyes is a fake, so illusions have no effect on ."

"Hmph, I see," Stella smirked, her lips curling.

"Mira, are you okay? Can you stand up?" Erza raised her red spear in a defensive posture, not looking back as she spoke to Mira.

"Yeah, I’m fine. I still have the strength to keep fighting." Mira stood up, her powerful magical energy gathering once again.

Along with Erza, they ford a defensive formation.

"Be careful, Erza. This person isn’t like an ordinary illusion mage; they’re a very tricky opponent," Mira quietly warned.

"I know," Erza said with a serious expression.

"In that case, for safety’s sake, let’s team up this ti, Mira."

"I was thinking the sa thing. By the way, this is probably the first ti we’ve tead up," Mira said, her lips curving up slightly.

Erza silently nodded in agreent.
