In a room of the Dark Magic Castle, Garlos and Ishu stood facing each other, a terrifying magical fluctuation spreading from their bodies, making the surrounding air feel incredibly tense.
"There’s no way out now; we’ve missed the chance to retreat."
Ishu’s expression was serious as he looked at Garlos, his hand subtly brushing over his abdon.
"Though the odds aren’t in our favor, we have no choice but to press on."
"At this point, saying there’s no chance is a bit premature, Ishu-san," Ed’s sharp gaze remained fixed on Garlos, and without turning his head, he spoke to Ishu.

Ed’s face changed, and he leaned backward.
Although he avoided the attack in ti, a blood mark was still left across his face.
Ed gritted his teeth slightly, and intense light power gathered in his hand, quickly forming a beam of light that shot out, striking Garlos and forcing him to retreat rapidly.
His feet carved two deep grooves into the ground.
(He really caught off guard.)
Garlos halted his montum and looked at Ed, his expression becoming increasingly serious.
(Although I knew that Ed was a skilled mage, after our brief exchange just now, I realize I underestimated him. His performance in that short clash was above the average level of the Saint Ten Great Mages.)
(Space magic is really more troubleso than I imagined.)
Ed wiped the blood dripping from his cheek, his gaze cold as he looked at Garlos.

Ed suddenly spoke without turning his head, calling out to Ishu.

A gleam of sharp light flashed in Garlos’s eyes.
He extended his hand to et Ishu’s attack.
"[Dinsional Shift]."
Garlos muttered, and with his palm as the center, a black hole appeared, swallowing Ishu’s attack entirely.
Then, Garlos reappeared in another corner of the room, crashing against the wall.
"[Judgnt of Light]."
Just as Garlos shifted Ishu’s attack, Ed had already quickly moved in front of Garlos.
A dazzling beam of light, like an indestructible spear, shot toward Garlos.
Garlos slightly furrowed his brow.
His magical power exploded around him, and once again, his body lded into the void.
The beam of light passed through him, failing to cause any damage.
"It’s not over yet. [Piercing Light Sword]."
Two sharp laser beams suddenly shot from Ed’s hand, narrowly spaced, one following the other.
They streaked toward Garlos like razor-sharp blades.
"Not good! [Spatial Spiral]."
For the first ti, Garlos’s face showed a change.
He spread his arms, and with him as the center, cracks began to form in the surrounding space.
Ed’s piercing light swords collided with the cracks, and without any resistance, they were torn apart by the violent force of the spatial energy.
Watching the space fragnts spread towards him, Ed pushed off the ground and quickly retreated, putting distance between himself and Garlos.
Although the attack had failed, Ed’s face showed no sign of frustration.
Instead, a faint smile curled at the corner of his lips.
In contrast, Garlos’s expression grew sowhat serious.
"I’ve already seen through it—your body’s ti interval when rging with space," Ed said, looking at Garlos.
