Star Dou Great Forest.

Ye Cheng had arrived here, leading a large group.

His main purpose was to fulfill his earlier promise to the Silver Dragon King: to bring humans to sign contracts with soul beasts!

This ti, he had brought many people. In addition to key figures from Baiyun City, there were also top mbers from Spirit Hall, and so promising students from Baiyun Academy.

As for whether the soul beast contract system might be leaked—he had long since prepared a solution for that, so there was no need to worry.

Riding on a massive cloud, Ye Cheng descended from the skies like a deity drifting through mist. In the blink of an eye, they reached the inner region of the Star "ou Great Forest.

Here, the soul beasts—led by the Silver Dragon King—had already been waiting for quite so ti.

Controlling the cloud beneath him, Ye Cheng guided it gently to land.

The mont it touched the ground, the large cloud dissipated into invisible energy.

"Lord of Baiyun City, welco."

The Silver Dragon King, now in her human form, smiled slightly as she looked at Ye Cheng. Though there was a significant gap in strength between them now, Ye Cheng had already proven his potential in the future video. No one dared underestimate him—naturally, the Silver Dragon King was no exception.

"It’s been a while, Silver Dragon King."

Ye Cheng returned her smile. But just as the two were exchanging polite greetings, a crisp, childlike voice suddenly cut in.

"Godmother~"

A tiny voice sprang from behind Ye Cheng, followed by a small figure dashing toward the Silver Dragon King.

"...!?"

The Silver Dragon King looked down at the little girl hugging her thigh and was visibly stunned. She muttered instinctively, "...Klee? How is this possible???"

The surrounding soul beasts, who had tensed up out of instinct when the girl appeared, also froze. When they got a clear look at the child, expressions of utter disbelief spread across their faces—as if their worldview had just collapsed.

Ti travel—even for soone like the Silver Dragon King—was an incredibly far-fetched notion.

Perhaps so God Kings, or even just first-class gods, could reverse ti in localized areas. But that was fundantally different from sending a physical body across ti. The aning and impact of the two were vastly different.

Reversing local ti was one thing. But sending a person through ti—back into the past—was a direct challenge to the fundantal laws of the universe. It ant that the traveler’s actions could genuinely alter the future.

The Silver Dragon King couldn’t begin to imagine what kind of power it would take to send soone from the present into the past—or the future.

That’s why she began to doubt whether this "little Klee" was real. But when she recalled the footage and data from the future video, her hand instinctively reached for the child’s head. A wave of divine sense swept through her, instantly detecting a familiar force!

This power was unmistakably her own. In fact, it was far stronger than what she currently possessed!

What the Silver Dragon King sensed was the sa powerful seal she had placed on Klee in the future, as shown in the video.

If this seal truly originated from her future self, then the authenticity of Klee’s identity as a ti traveler was beyond question.

What’s more, even with the seal still in place, she could feel the boundless, surging energy within the child—like an infinite ocean.

This further confird Klee’s identity.

For a long mont, the Silver Dragon King remained silent.

"Godmother? What’s wrong?"

"You don’t recognize Klee anymore?"

Klee was puzzled by the slightly distant look in the Silver Dragon King’s eyes. In her mory, this person had always been her godmother—the one who loved her most besides her mom.

After a pause, the Silver Dragon King’s face suddenly blossod into a smile. She reached out to pat Klee’s little head and gave a motherly smile just like the one from the video. Her voice was warm and gentle: "How could I not? Of course godmother rembers little Klee."

Once she confird that this child had truly co from the future, the Silver Dragon King’s attitude changed drastically. Even setting aside the fact that this child was her future goddaughter—just the power sealed within her was enough to warrant the utmost respect.

She silently estimated that if the energy within Klee were fully released, she might not even be able to defeat her. That is, assuming Klee could control that power.

After all, it ca from the bloodline of a Creator God—far beyond what ordinary God Kings possessed. And this child’s future wouldn’t stop at God King level either; she would likely reach the sa level as her father... the level of the Creator Gods!

Faced with such a future powerhouse, the Silver Dragon King naturally wanted to foster a close relationship. And with their existing bond, she had no reason to act distant and risk hurting the child’s feelings.

To make up for her earlier hesitation, the Silver Dragon King bent down and picked Klee up affectionately.

The surrounding soul beasts also tried their best to squeeze out friendly smiles. After all, this little ancestor wasn’t soone they could afford to offend. And since she was the goddaughter of their lord, she could just barely be considered their young mistress as well—so their attitudes had to be respectful.

As for why Klee had co along—she’d heard that Ye Cheng was going to the Star Dou Great Forest and said she hadn’t seen her godmother in a long ti and wanted to visit.

In the mory setup Ye Cheng gave Klee, she hadn’t yet experienced her encounter with the Golden-Horned Beast. That ant she had not yet ford a soul contract.

If she had already t the beast and was from the future, then in this tiline, the Three-Eyed Golden Lion would automatically be bound to her by contract—which would instantly expose her as a fake.

After all, while Klee’s appearance and power were convincing, she wasn’t 100% fully constructed as a true ti traveler. If a contract appeared and the lion didn’t show a sudden boost in power, the deception would be obvious.

That’s why Ye Cheng intentionally set her identity as the pre-contract version of Klee—giving himself more flexibility for future plot developnt.

Next—

The humans Ye Cheng had brought, and the soul beasts prepared by the Silver Dragon King, began a massive matchmaking event.

Both sides sought suitable partners for contract bonding.

After all, once a soul contract was ford—it would last a lifeti.

So they had to choose carefully! Very carefully! Extrely carefully!

Ye Cheng handed each person a contract stone.

It looked like a transparent crystal.

This was the latest invention by the Soul Guide Master Xuan Ji, condensing the entire soul contract system into a small crystalline device. During use, both parties simply needed to channel soul power into it—and the stone would handle the rest.

It was an efficient way to prevent leaks in the soul beast contract system—simple, convenient, and highly practical.
