Chapter 497: Tsukuyo, Personally Slaying Night King Hosen! The Sun of Yoshiwara!
In a dim corridor, a woman with dium-length brown hair held a kunai, multiple wounds on her body. She had a perfect hourglass figure and wore a black robe with a maple leaf pattern, fishnet stockings, and high-heeled boots. At this mont, her scarred left eye surveyed her surroundings.
More than a dozen masked won surrounded her, with their leader trying to persuade her to surrender. They were mbers of the Hyakka, a force under the Night King. Tsukuyo was their leader. But now, a conflict had arisen between them. The Hyakka followed the Night King’s orders; Tsukuyo was trying to save Hinowa.
The Hyakka mbers didn’t want to be enemies with her. Many had been saved by her. Yoshiwara was a hell for won, but Tsukuyo had secretly protected those who tried to escape or couldn’t attract custors, letting them blend into the Hyakka to live as people, not as commodities. Now, to be her enemy, they were in pain. But the Night King’s power was a deterrent to all.
Tsukuyo didn’t say much. She knew everyone was just struggling to survive. "Hinowa is the sun of Yoshiwara. I won’t let the sun go out." This was her choice.
"Hinowa..." The mbers thought of that strong woman. She had brought sunshine to this hell. They too had been illuminated by her.
In the silence, the Hyakka mbers, one by one, put away their blades. "Tsukuyo-sama, we are willing to save Hinowa-sama with you!"
This made Tsukuyo startled. "You..."
"Tsukuyo-sama, we are already dead people. Perhaps we should truly do sothing for Yoshiwara."
Clap, clap, clap! "Very touching."
"Who’s there?!" The sound of applause and a male voice put them on edge. They gripped their weapons and stared at the end of the unlit corridor.
Ren walked out of the darkness, clapping, followed by Kagura and a dazed, burly man. The appearance of that man made Tsukuyo and the others exclaim, "Night King Hosen!!!" Tsukuyo’s heart tightened. Does this an sothing happened to Gintoki?
"Hello everyone. I am Ren, a friend of Gintoki."
"Gintoki’s friend?" Tsukuyo frowned. She might have believed him, but Hosen was right behind him.
Noticing her wariness, Ren signaled. Kagura nodded, grabbed Hosen’s hair, and violently dragged him forward, stomping him under her foot without resistance. She arrogantly rubbed her foot on his dazed face.
She even put on a fierce expression. "See that? This is my boss’s defeated opponent! Follow us, and you’ll live the good life, aru!"
At this point, not only were Tsukuyo and the others dumbfounded, even Ren felt overwheld. When did I beco your boss?
He cleared his throat. "Just as Kagura said, this trashy Night King is already half-dead. I also promised Gintoki I would solve Yoshiwara’s problem. How do you want to deal with this guy? Should we just kill him?"
Hosen had endured almost all the tornt he could, similar to Muzan’s sun torture. Now he was just an empty shell.
The Hyakka looked at each other. Night King Hosen is like a dead dog. Could such a thing truly happen?
Tsukuyo, after a brief shock, quickly regained her composure. There was only one choice before her: kill Hosen and free the sun of Yoshiwara. She drew her blade without hesitation and stepped forward.
Kagura saw her movents and removed her foot, making space. Hosen stood up, dazed. This simple action made the Hyakka tremble.
Stopping in front of him, Tsukuyo’s expression was firm. "Die, Night King Hosen! Yoshiwara doesn’t need darkness! It needs the sun!"
A single slash. Whoosh! The blade cut through. Blood splattered. Thud! A head fell. The headless body collapsed.
The severed head rolled to Tsukuyo’s feet. She silently bent down, picked it up by its hair, and stared blankly. "Night King Hosen... is dead..."
[Ding! Detected the death of the aberrant Night King Hosen! Doom Companion ended!]
[Ding! Ren gained 200,000 doomsday points, Sakata Gintoki gained 50,000 doomsday points!]
Ren was slightly displeased. This thing was only worth a little over 200,000 points. Trash.
Upholding the principle of seeing things through, he reminded her, "Hosen is dead. Shouldn’t you go save soone?"
"Hinowa!" Coming back to her senses, Tsukuyo looked gratefully at Ren, then threw Hosen’s head to one of the Hyakka. "Spread the news of his death throughout Yoshiwara!" After giving the order, she turned and ran.
