Chapter 393: Amagi Brilliant Park! Isuzu Sento!
"Is this the anomaly you found through your investigation?" Ren asked Najenda.
A week had passed since his ti with Miyuki. During this week, he moved among everyone, helping them enhance their power and, incidentally, obtaining so rewards, like suspenders, bikinis, and band-aids.
But today, he and Najenda ca out together. They arrived before a very deserted and dilapidated amusent park. Cracked pavent, a faded main gate, and a rusty signboard.
The signboard read: "Welco! Amagi Brilliant Park, Kingdom of Dreams!"
Upon seeing the na, Ren had already confird that it was an abnormal entity. A magical park, perated with an energy called ’Anima’.
[Inorin’s Note: In the Amagi Brilliant Park series, ’Anima’ is the magical energy of fun and happiness generated by guests, which the park’s magical residents need to survive.]
"Since it’s an amusent park, let’s go play," Ren said, taking her hand.
"Play?" Najenda had never experienced it. Although they had already engaged in stimulating activities, she didn’t understand the concept of dating. The mont he held her hand, her body, which had only experienced him once, began to crave it.
"Welco." The gatekeeper was an uncle wearing a red mask. He looked very fierce, but his voice was kind. "Do you need guide services? You are the first and second visitors in a while, so you enjoy them for free."
"Forcing guides on people? Alright then, let’s go," Ren was exasperated.
Soon, a girl walked over. Her figure was slender, her eyes bright, and her skin delicate. Her appearance was calm, her lips soft, and she was a tall, beautiful girl with long, flaxen hair. Most importantly, her chest was very full.
"Hello, I’m your guide, Isuzu Sento." The girl had a calm expression and an indifferent tone.
Najenda was stunned. A dilapidated gate, a robber-like gatekeeper, and an extrely cold guide.
Ren didn’t mind. "My na is Ren." He raised their clasped hands. "This is my beloved, Najenda."
Najenda, referred to as his beloved, held her breath.
"Oh," Isuzu Sento responded weakly, as if she had sothing on her mind.
"I don’t rember this park being here before," Ren said.
She paused. "Amagi Brilliant Park has only been open for a short ti."
"Are you sure?" They had already entered the main plaza. The fountain was dry, covered with brownish, nearly dead moss.
"..." Isuzu Sento fell silent, then sighed. "This is our characteristic the. Nostalgia."
"That doesn’t seem to be the right word for it," Najenda said abruptly.
"This way. You can experience our attractions." Isuzu ignored her and led them to the first one: Thrill Coaster.
Over the next few hours, they experienced various attractions that could only be described as outrageous. The Thrill Coaster was as slow as a snail. The Drop Tower moved slower than a crawling turtle.
Isuzu’s answer: "Because the equipnt lacks maintenance, to reduce the accident rate, we can only slow it down."
Hmm, reasonable.
Then there were the spinning teacups. It should have been a gentle attraction, but it spun faster than an electric fan. Didn’t this one fear a high accident rate?
Isuzu explained again, "Because the park lacks thrilling attractions, we sped this one up a bit."
Good heavens! Truly good heavens! What should be thrilling wasn’t, and what shouldn’t be was extrely thrilling. There was also a candy house specifically designed to injure people and many attractions that were shut down for bizarre reasons. These reasons were simply astonishing.
