Chapter 289: Chapter 289: Marriage Agreent

As she turned her head, she saw him standing there with both hands in the pockets of his dress pants.

His thick hair hid half of his eyes, which revealed a hint of sharpness.

William Griffith’s gaze almost plundered over her body, not missing a single trace of Cherish Turner’s eyes. He stepped forward, walking until he was right in front of her, looking down at her from above. A flash of gloom flickered in his eyes as he raised his head and pinched her chin. She felt the pain but still faced him proudly.

“Cherish, I know you want to leave. I know I cannot keep you here, but we need to have so agreent between us, otherwise, I cannot let you go.”

He lifted her chin to a perfect arc and lowered his head to cover his lips with hers.

However, the temperature of his lips was so cold that it chilled her to the bone.

Cherish stared at his chiseled handso face, clenching her fists. As his lips left hers, she suddenly wanted to say sothing, like this way of loving her was more akin to imprisoning her, closing off her ears and eyes. This would only drive her further away.

But just as she was about to speak, she heard his deep, masculine voice, “Co on, sign here.”

“…” She was confused, but still walked to the glass cabinet under his uninviting smile. Lowering her head, a marriage agreent was placed on top. Her vision beca chaotic as she quickly looked down and saw his na in the male column, written with such flair.

William Griffith.

He had already signed.

Cherish Turner had never imagined such a scenario, yet William Griffith had done it.

Behind her, soone pressed their head against her shoulder. “Didn’t you want to go to Kyoto City? I’ll let you go. Sign it, and you’ll be my bride. I’ll allow you to do anything, even if I cannot accept it. Is that alright?” He deliberately paused, his voice sinking and turning cold, “Cherish, this is the condition for you to gain your freedom. I don’t want to treat you like this, but I also don’t want our relationship to deteriorate because of others, like Daniel Peacock, who you still choose to believe, or anyone else!”

Such as Chloe Turner or Anthony Turner in the future.

Cherish felt his breath assault her, causing an inexplicable panic in her heart. She may have imagined a hundred different ways they could get married, but none were like this.

William Griffith wanted to use his intimidation over Cherish Turner to force her into signing the marriage agreent, so the Griffith Family would have no reason to oppose their marriage.

The feeling in Cherish’s heart changed.

There was no warmth in this marriage agreent, and she did not want to sign it at all.

She was in agony, “When did we co to this point… ”

“You can think of

as overbearing or whatever, I just want to keep you by my side. As for the ans, I don’t care.”

“If you want to leave, that’s the condition.”

“But, William Griffith, this is illegal!” Cherish couldn’t stand this version of him, completely different from the person she knew.

“No one knows it’s illegal. Once it’s submitted, it’s legal. Now, it’s up to you whether you’ll sign it or not.”

“So you feel guilty, using this thod to tie

down? But, can this really hold

back?” Cherish sneered, her smile devoid of the warmth of the past.
