Chapter 288: Chapter 288: The Sa Dominance
Cherish Turner thought that today was over and that William Griffith probably wouldn’t see her again.
Just a mont ago, she was sowhat scared of him.
But every thought of Cherish Turner was wrong. In the evening, just as she was about to take a bath, Mother Goodman knocked on her door.
“Miss, the gentleman is here to see you, he is waiting for you downstairs.”
Hearing these words, Cherish’s heart skipped a beat. On one hand, she felt that since William Griffith had co to et her and talk to her, she needed to seize the opportunity to get him to let her go.
Yet on the other hand, she was sowhat anxious, as she didn’t know what he was going to say.
“Oh, I’m just taking a bath. I’ll be down soon.”
After ten minutes, Cherish washed up swiftly. Dressed in clean clothes, she looked a bit better, knowing that she would need to be clearheaded in front of William Griffith.
Cherish just picked out so random clothes, but surprisingly, her attire was quite dazzling, completely eliminating her previous state of despair.
Thomas Harrison was also downstairs and his eyes brightened at the sight of Miss Turner.
Her pink chiffon blouse flattered her rosy skin, making her perfect. Since it was fitting, the outfit accentuated Cherish’s figure just right, her stunning chest subtly evident, and her two fair legs extrely captivating. The sight of Cherish that Thomas saw was exactly this.
Even Thomas felt embarrassed looking at her because the current Miss Turner was simply too beautiful.
But soon, Thomas sobered up, realising it was inappropriate to steal glances at his boss’s woman.
As such, Thomas straightened his expression and waited downstairs. When she ca down, he softly said, “Miss, the boss said for you to eat first. He has matters to attend to once you are done eating.”
“No need, take
to see him right away!” Cherish rejected without a second thought.
“The young master also said that if Miss doesn’t eat, there’s no need to see him.” Thomas precisely relayed William Griffith’s words.
Cherish subconsciously clenched her fists, paused for a few seconds and cunningly retorted, “Did he say how much I should eat?”
“No!” Thomas knitted his eyebrows, finding it sowhat amusing. Indeed, she was the boss’s woman.
“Good! Then I’ll just take a sip of porridge, no need to fuss. Mother Goodman, get
the bowl of porridge!” Cherish stated, looking at the maid beside her, “Hurry up! Get
the porridge!”
Mother Goodman glanced at Thomas, seemingly waiting for his command. After seeing him nod, she dashed off into the kitchen. Before long, she ca out holding a tray, barely setting it down when soone had already lifted up the cup, hastily taking a sip before putting it back down. Cherish pursed her lips and looked at Thomas, “Is it okay now? Take
there at once!”
“…” Without another word, Thomas turned around and led her to William Griffith.
In the study, William Griffith stood coldly by the floor-to-ceiling windows, absorbed in sothing that was on the desk. Thomas opened the car door and Cherish walked in silently. Then, she shut the door.
William Griffith saw her and pointed at the place in front of him.
Just as Cherish was lost in thought, she heard a deep voice echo in the room, “Are you here?” His tone was indifferent, she couldn’t tell if he was angry or happy. Filled with trepidation, she took a seat.
