Chapter 89: Security From City Council
"Hooah!" a zombie slightly taller than the others were roaring as the ti was getting late. Because it noticed so voice that does not belong to the other fellow zombies, it luckily ca to the street Zhang Qin Feng and Satella was at before.
But it was not the first to arrive.
There are already a few early-cors that started to enjoy their dead companion's buffet. Such a sight was common everywhere in this post-apocalypse. While the zombies were still active, their target was the living humans that actively roam around the surface.
And when there's no target around, they'll be the world's cleaner that devours the fellow companions that no longer movable. To the zombies, everything that managed to get through their throat and system will eventually turn into energy for them to keep moving.
The concept of taste or how rotten is the thing they eat was not sothing they mind about.
But there are also miracles amongst the soulless zombies. In the eyes of mankind, they called it mutation.
Since Zhang Qin Feng did not rummage about everything Satella killed to respect her professionalism, it was common for her to miss sothing from the corpse.
To mankind, Antiviral Material was the base that could be processed into serums for body strengthening and Decrystalization Serum. And similarly, it can also work on the zombies because it was in the root of their DNA.
Although mankind can use them, they'll have to undergo a few processes to remove the hidden danger behind this unique substance. But to the zombies, all they need to do is one easy step.

After feasting on close to ten corpses, a mutation is started on this zombie. Its skin started to decolored as the greyish hue replaced the dull nude color of human skin.
The zombie was about two ters tall before the mutation. But this mutation makes it grow more than that. It only cald after it grows to around 2.5ters tall. The body that was no different from a drunk uncle from the neighborhood now turned into a muscle mass, even beefier than those you can see from the fitness magazine models.
Both of its eyes were glowing red as it smiled.

"Feng, are you leaving later?" Satella asked. Maybe it was just the sensitiveness of a woman, but she had a hunch that Zhang Qin Feng had sothing to do.
In her mind, it would be great if Zhang Qin Feng was willing to stay for the night as she was not 'fed' in the past two days. Although she's not a sex addict, venting out so stress after hunting so many zombies is still a must.
After all, it took one obsession to defeat another.
"Yes, I'll have to leave later after I sent you back to the base. Why? Do you have sothing you want to get for you?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
'I want you to sleep with , you idiot…' Satella wanted to scold him for being so dense about her needs, but she couldn't bear the heart to say it to his face.
Biting her lower lips slightly, she grabbed Zhang Qin Feng's hand as she slowed down. Since there are just another hundred ters to reach their base, it should be fine if they take their ti.
"Can… Can you stay for a few days next ti?" Satella asked.
"Erm… Of course. But it won't be so early because I had many things to do back at my place. After I get my stuff done, I'll accompany you as long as you want, alright?" Zhang Qin Feng played with her hair as he replied to Satella's words.
"En… You promised." Satella pushes the Centurion Rifle to her back and gives Zhang Qin Feng a hug. Even she did not realize that she started to get more attached to him.
She had her fair amount of responsibility after they returned to the base. As for Zhang Qin Feng, he makes his way to the Reprinter Unit first. After transferring a third of the energy collected in the Storage Unit, he makes his way to the penthouse.
Similar to the Reprinter Unit, Zhang Qin Feng transferred about the sa amount into the generator. This would be enough for the building to run on saving mode for a few days.
Standing just before the door into the bathroom, Zhang Qin Feng gives it a few knocks.
"Yes?" Satella answered. There's only a thin layer of glass door between them.
"I'm leaving. I'll co back as soon as possible later." Zhang Qin Feng finished what he was going to say before leaving their room.

It was already getting close to midnight by the ti Zhang Qin Feng returned to the modern world. There was half an hour to go before midnight.
Zhang Qin Feng then decided to look at the computer files extracted from the hard drive he took from the terrorist's outpost in the last operation.
But a knock ca from the shutter as he was halfway running through the sensitive files.
"Who was it?" Zhang Qin Feng answered the shutter without opening it. Since it was not their appointed ti yet, there shouldn't be any visitors around this ti.
"This is the security from the City Council. Because there's an incident involving the police happened across the other street, I'm here on behalf of the council to make an inspection."
"Would sir kindly open your shutter so we can make sure it wasn't used for any illegal activities, please?" the uninvited visitor said.
Since Stein did not respond, Zhang Qin Feng trusted his guts and opened the door. To his surprise, it was just a single man coming over for a random check.
"Hello, sir. Good evening. Would it be convenient for to co in and have a look? It will be just a quick one, I promise." the guy in white office wear and a cufflink on both ends of his sleeve said.
"Please, feel free to do so." Zhang Qin Feng invited him into the main room area where all the computer system was assembled into a tricky maze.
"Wow, it looks like a hacker's base here." the security personnel said. Of course, he makes it sound like a joke because it was an overstatent.
"If you don't mind asking, sir… What is all this computer was used for?" he continued.
