This furious kick did strike its target, but there was a layer in between—a sit-up mat covered with the chalk powder that Dubian Che had purposely thrown away.

Shizuru took the hit squarely on her face.

Dubian Che, clutching his aching waist with his left hand, quickly created distance, throwing anything he could grab with his right hand.

anwhile, he shouted loudly,

"Miss Shizuru, I don’t know how well you know chemistry! Quickli and water cause a chemical reaction that imdiately heats up to temperatures exceeding 300°C. Please be careful of your eyes and tongue!"

"You’re courting death!" Shizuru’s anger was even more ferocious than the boiling of li on contact with water.

She desperately kept her tear-filled eyes open and charged at Dubian Che.

"I’ll kill you!"

Dubian Che, who had always avoided a direct confrontation, had no escape.

The two exchanged blows swiftly, back and forth, with the surrounding li and dust swirling in the sunlight like clouds stirred by a fierce wind.

Jiutiao ijie, as if watching a 3D movie, sighed lightly with interest.

Dubian Che dodged or blocked all her attacks, but his arms and legs were numb with pain. He had no doubts—if he rolled up his trouser legs and sleeves, they would definitely be bruised.

But Shizuru was no better off.

Dubian Che’s sharp mind, never slacking and destined for greatness, naturally did not forget the simple chemical reaction.

Her eyes stread tears wildly and the temperature gradually rose. A normal person would have been screaming in agony clutching their eyes.

But Shizuru wasn’t just any Olympic judo champion; she was an assassin trained by the Jiutiao Family, having killed more people than the total population of Dubian Che’s ho village.

With fierce determination in her heart, she was hell-bent on taking Dubian Che out with her dying breath.

Dubian Che felt his hands and feet ache beyond their capacity to respond and knew he could not continue this way.

One punch or kick would have left him powerless, and his only fate would be death.

As Shizuru’s eyes watered and she instinctively closed them, enduring a weakened punch, he found his chance and pressed his right hand, still coated in residual li powder, forcibly onto her eyes.

"Ah!" Shizuru, unable to suppress her human instincts, quickly retreated, holding her eyes and wailing.

Even if that blow hadn’t blinded her, the li powder wouldn’t have been comfortable for her.

Dubian Che was also suffering, as Shizuru’s punch nearly dislocated his jaw and filled his mouth with the taste of blood.

Fortunately, his regular tooth brushing morning and night ensured his teeth were secure and not at risk of falling out.

Driven by unbearable pain, Dubian Che summoned unexpected strength, pulled out a pole used for pole vaulting, and swung it hard at Shizuru.

Shizuru, relying solely on the sound of the wind, instinctively grabbed the pole.

Dubian Che’s face changed, his experience from Grandmaster Level freestyle fighting made him reflexively clamp the pole under his arm and rapidly wrap his arms around it.

As he suspected, as soon as he completed these actions, an irresistible force traveled through the pole.

Luckily, his split-second decision prevented the pole from being taken by her, which would have left him in a predicant.

Dubian Che caught a glimpse of the basketballs and soccer balls he had thrown about haphazardly. Not caring whether they could hit or not, he kicked them all at once.

So hit the target, others did not. According to Dubian Che’s estimation, only a few struck her head.

At first, Shizuru was sowhat embarassed, but Dubian Che was too weak, and even if she took the hits with her face, it only hurt a bit.

She endured the fiery pain in her eyes and grabbed the pole, ready to take it in one go.

But she fell right into Dubian Che’s trap.

Besides the basketballs and soccer balls, there were also shot puts!

With his left hand wrapped around the pole, ignoring how it was slowly being pulled away, he bent down, picked up the shot put, and smashed it with the most forceful thod.

Unfortunately, Dubian Che’s strength was still too weak, and his accuracy also fell short, only hitting her in the chest.

However, that was enough.

"Bang!" The shot put hit the ground, making a loud noise, as Shizuru collapsed on the spot.

Dubian Che gasped for breath, the pole slipping from under his armpit, his energy almost spent.

Ten seconds later, he swallowed a mouthful of saliva, looked at Shizuru groaning on the floor, and picked up the shot put that had rolled to the side.

Since he dared not get too close, and lacking strength, aiming high, he targeted the larger upper body area and threw it.

The shot put began to fall halfway through its trajectory, striking the opponent’s foot sole.

"Ah!" Shizuru let out a scream, yet she didn’t move, looking as though she had lost the ability to resist.

Staggering, Dubian Che walked towards the still-sliding shot put, saying, "You have no idea how much I’ve sacrificed for this day, Miss Shizuru."

He stopped the shot put with his foot and, enduring the pain, bent down to pick it up.

He didn’t want to hit won, even less to kill. More precisely, he was afraid of killing.

Fear was instinctive, but he, Dubian Che, had long decided only to do what must be done.

The n in black looked on in shock. The personal bodyguard of the young lady and Shizuru, who had the highest combat value, had been defeated by a student?

Although it involved terrain advantage and her being off-guard, a loss was still a loss.

They glanced towards Jiutiao ijie, waiting for her command.

Jiutiao ijiu, however, watched Dubian Che with the shot put expressionless.

Dubian Che continued to observe Shizuru’s reaction. He was on the verge of victory and couldn’t afford to be careless!

He continued,

"I would get up at six in the morning, lift dumbbells for half an hour, at 6:30 I’d follow the radio for the second set of exercises, and from 7 to 8 I’d morize English and Chinese;

from 8:30 to 11, I’d go to the library to read a biography beneficial to life; from 2 to 4 in the afternoon, I’d study subjects including biology, modern society, math, art;

at 7 p.m., in a fifty-ter pool, no matter how tired I was, I had to swim up and down ten tis; at 9, I’d listen to English broadcasts while either lifting dumbbells or doing push-ups. Do you know how I endured such days?"

The n in black looked bizarre.

"Enough!"

The previously incapacitated Shizuru suddenly sat up, her left hand covering her left eye, barely managing to squint through her right eye.

"Bang, bang, bang." The shot put slipped from Dubian Che’s hand.

He looked at Shizuru holding a handgun, raising both hands, "Really, is that necessary?"

"Hahaha!" Jiutiao ijie burst into laughter, pressing her hands against her flat, lean abdon.

After a while, once her laughter subsided, she waved her hand.

Shizuru put away the handgun, panting and leaning back against the basketball rack, her eyes completely closed, her face in agony.

"Take that dicine." Jiutiao ijie said.

Shizuru hesitated a bit before realizing she was being addressed.

She fumbled for the dicine box and popped a "Healing dicine" into her mouth.

Soon, her red, teary eye sockets, the bleeding corners of her mouth, and the numbness in her foot sole all returned to normal.

She leaped up, her eyes glaring at Dubian Che.

Let’s go again, this ti I’ll make sure to kill you... that was how Dubian Che understood her intention.

He wasn’t stupid, he looked towards Jiutiao ijie, "Miss Jiutiao?"

"Continue."

"...Huh?"

"Hahaha!" Jiutiao ijie laughed again, clutching her stomach, "Your frightened expression is adorable; I really like it!"

She took a deep breath, happily saying, "I’m very happy today; I’ll let you go this ti. If I’m in a bad mood next ti, I might kill you."

Jiutiao ijie stood up, walked over to Shizuru, and took a close look at the dicine in her hand.

"Miss, I’m sorry." Shizuru bowed.

"If you lose again next ti, whether or not you can be cured will depend on the doctor’s skill."

Shizuru, rembering the helplessness of her ankle and the eye she thought was nearly ruined, reassured, "Please rest assured, miss!"

Jiutiao ijie put the dicine in her school uniform pocket and left the gymnasium directly; Shizuru and the n in black silently followed.

After everyone left, Dubian Che collapsed onto an ab mat.

Li dust still danced in the beams of light; equipnt was scattered everywhere, and the chair Jiutiao ijie had been sitting on remained there.

Outside the reopened warehouse doors, the sound of crows could be heard.

Finally, he had survived.
