"What those ladies don’t know when they are acting all pompous is that not only do, they embarrass themselves but they also pull everyone who knows them in the sa pit. When such things happen outside, people wouldn’t find it fun to laugh at them. Everywhere they go, people would point at them and include their families.

Because of montary hate and show-off, a single remark might bring a family into bankruptcy. But is that really worth it?" Briar said calmly, a smile on her face as she looked at the man who was just alighting from the car.

Briar was not an idiot. Just because she wasn’t well learned didn’t an that her brain didn’t function properly. Others might find fun in speaking ill of others but those who suffer the consequences are the other people.

Those ladies were ridiculed which they deserved but after this, these ladies would start talking about how they weren’t raised properly. Because of an impulsive mont, trying to make her look bad, these ladies condemned their own families. Was it worth it?

When people point fingers at her, they include the yers in the process. Was it really worth it?

Looking at the man who was now standing next to the car, with his arms folded and a stoic expression on his face, Briar still believed that it was better to stay clear from any fights in public.

If they were private, she would skin the opponent alive and feed her to the fish without rcy. No one would point fingers at anyone.

"When you use your power to diminish other people, they will be supporters but when you suffer, you will all be alone," Briar didn’t forget to add with a smile as she looked at her friends.

The three and many others hearing that didn’t know how to retort anymore.

After dropping such a bomb, Briar grinned sheepishly at everyone and cheerfully said, "Forget what I said. Anyway, those are just my thoughts." Brushing aside what she had just said and before they could respond, she added, "Hubby is here! I have to go!" before raising her gown and hurrying away to Logan without caring for her image.

Alice chuckled helplessly as she looked at Briar who was running towards Logan and her brother who obviously now stood at ease with his arms open, ready to embrace her any second.

While watching that, she couldn’t help but notice the shoes that Briar was wearing.

She facepald and wondered to herself, just how unique her sister-in-law was.

Bertha on the other hand watched all that with a smile on her face.

Briar was young and seeing her happy made her very happy. Briar was the only one who made the three of them worried. Seeing that she was with the man she loved dearly finally, she was at ease.

It was also good to know that her thoughts were still on the good side. It would be bad if she blackens.

Madam yer on the other side, watched helplessly as Briar lost her image and ran towards Logan without caring about anything.

She could hear the other ladies’ snickers and chuckles at seeing such a spectacle. The ladies tend to be reserved in public and yet her daughter-in-law was doing the opposite.

However, before she could form more words to describe what she was seeing, her son’s reaction made her deflated.

"Hubby! You are here!" Briar cheerfully exclaid as she threw herself in Logan’s embrace and he hugged her tightly, a smile on his face.

Madam yer looked at Logan’s expression and his eyes. She was stunned in place.

Although she knew that her son’s feelings for Briar were becoming real with each passing day, she had never seen him with her, to be honest.

So, seeing the two like that, she didn’t know what to say or how to react.

The deep love in those eyes couldn’t be hidden. The fact that he could do this publicly despite that the dia friends were still around, showed that he no longer cared about much or the thoughts of anyone.

Seeing that, Madam yer who was at a loss of words earlier found herself squinting happily.

"It seems that those two are deeply in love!"

"Just look at the way those eyes look deep!"

"He is smiling!"

Listening to the ladies who were snickering a mont ago now praising her son and Briar, Madam yer was happy.

She was glad that Logan ca to pick Briar up personally. These two had never appeared in the sa fra in public ever since the news of their marriage was revealed.

Having Logan co here tonight, solved a lot of problems and Madam yer believed that in the future, no one would dare cause problems for Briar again. with him making more appearances, it might not be bad to let Briar attend more banquets.

No one would dare anger Logan; she was certain of that.

anwhile, Logan looked at Briar dotingly, his unsettled heart finally at ease. Seeing her smiling and without receiving a report of anything bad happening to her, he felt finally at ease.

He had been uneasy the whole ti and now with her in his arms, he felt very calm.

Most importantly, he was overjoyed.

This love-struck fool of his truly loved him so much.

He couldn’t forget how she ran towards him, the hem of her gown in her hands and her face light up with her beautiful smile.

Eyes do tell a lot and her eyes were always saying sothing every single second.

That love in her eyes, her bones, and everywhere on her, was his. And at that mont, he didn’t feel that he made the wrong choice to co and pick her up.

She was his and as his woman, shouldn’t the world finally see for themselves that they were harmonious?

Besides, with the plans he made earlier, doing this should be considered an appetizer right?

With that thought in mind, Logan looked at his mother who was coming and his sister who was shaking her head and smiled apologetically at them before helping Briar who was very cooperative into the car.

Under everyone’s gaze, the two left without biding anyone goodbye.
