~Zara’s POV~

"And how do you feel?"

Those words replayed in my head for a few seconds before I wore my best smile and hesitated a little before answering. "Like I did the right thing."

"Is that truly how you feel, Zara?"

I wanted to say yes, to believe that cutting Snow off was the best decision for . But the ache in my chest told a different story.

I gritted my teeth, my hands tightening around the steering wheel as I pulled up to Ella’s house.

Zara wasn’t answering my calls, and after she turned off her phone, I had no choice but to track down soone who might know where she was.

I stepped out of the car and strode toward the front door, my mind racing. I had to get to her before Vera did before it was too late.
