In the following days, Mia Sutton was out from morning till night. It seed like aside from sleeping ti at night, you could barely see her. She was unbelievably busy.
Our teacher Mr. Sterling: "..."
Sitting in his studio, Caron Grant was next to him, holding so docunts, discussing the upcoming schedule with him.
Caron looked at the things in his hand and said, "So Jensen, you’ve been done with the previous movie for a while now. These are so scripts that have co in during this period, both TV series and movies. I’ve shortlisted them, and the scripts are all quite good. You can take a look."
He placed a few docunts on the table in front of him as he spoke, then continued.
"Also, there are offers for international brand endorsents. Their previous spokesperson was from Europe or Arica, and their contract expired. They contacted us; it seed pretty good, so I kept it."
"There are also a few variety shows inviting you. But since you usually don’t attend such shows, I turned them down."
Caron knew this artist of his was all about acting, with little interest in other engagents. So, he trimd down unnecessary offers.
After saying all that, he looked at Jensen Sterling and said, "Jensen, take a look. These events are alright. You could participate in so variety shows to relax a bit."
Jensen Sterling lifted his head and glanced at him, then picked up a couple of scripts from the table, flipping through them.
Caron then went to sit on a chair aside, looking at the abandoned variety and endorsent offers with so helplessness.
But he was used to it since his artist had always been like this.
Then suddenly, a voice sounded in his ear, startling Caron so much that he froze, looking at Jensen Sterling with disbelief, wondering if he’d heard wrong.
"Jensen, what did you just say?!"
Jensen Sterling moved his gaze from the script and calmly asked, "Are there any galas or similar events recently?"
Caron: "..." So he didn’t hear wrong!
But it’s even more shocking, isn’t it!
Jensen Sterling had never shown interest in such events, even turning down invites to major annual galas. Why is he now... asking about it proactively?
This is simply not logical.
Under Jensen Sterling’s slightly chilly gaze, Caron decisively shut his mouth and started searching on his phone.
He knew Jensen didn’t attend such events, so all probing inquiries were basically rejected.
But there were indeed so invitations lately, so Caron painstakingly dug out those ssages from the corners.
Then he said, "In the last few days, there were three events that contacted us; one is related to talent shows."
This mainly because Jensen Sterling attended the formation night of "Shining Stars," so they tried getting in touch with him.
Completely unaware that the only reason he agreed to go was not for the program itself, but just because Mia Sutton was there.
"And there’s one more..." Caron didn’t finish speaking when a sudden thought flashed in his mind.
Mia Sutton?
He seed to understand sothing.
Then he glanced at the person sitting over there and tentatively asked, "Jensen, do you want to attend the event with Miss Sutton?"
Jensen Sterling didn’t even blink, responding very flatly with a ’Hmm.’
Caron: "..." Indeed, that’s the case.
He figured sothing must be up. Jensen never attends such events. Why suddenly ask about it proactively? There had to be a reason.
And that reason, forgive his incompetence, besides Mia Sutton, he couldn’t think of anything else.
Then he realized a recent gala invited the newly ford group mbers to attend. He’d heard about it.
Other than the ones from "Shining Stars," there was no one else recently ford.
After locking in the target, Caron quickly started going through his phone. He had a bit of an impression of this event, but he couldn’t rember if he gave a vague response or a firm rejection.
Caron quickly found the chat records from that ti.
Opening the chat box, his fingers paused on the screen.
Alright, he had indeed firmly turned them down.
Seeing Caron’s actions, Jensen Sterling asked, "Did you find it?"
Caron: "Found it." Then he handed over his phone to Jensen.
With so helplessness, he said, "Didn’t you always not participate in such events? So I turned them down at that ti."
He also told them, sorry, Jensen’s schedule was full during that period, very sorry, and hoped for future cooperation.
"Get in touch and say I have so free ti recently and can participate."
Hearing that, Caron sighed, then began contacting them.
On the other end, the event organizer was managing matters when he received Caron’s call.
His actions imdiately halted, and his voice held excitent, "What? Did you say Mr. Sterling has ti to attend our event?"
Holding the phone, Caron said, "Yes, a few days ago, the schedule was full, but now it’s freed up, and Mr. Sterling agreed after reviewing your materials. Sorry for the mix-up earlier."
The organizer quickly said, "No, no, no. How can you say sorry? It’s our honor for Mr. Sterling to attend our event."
Then began the usual business flattery, eventually saying, "Mr. Grant, we’ll send the contract over right away for you to review. If there are any issues, we can make adjustnts promptly."
Caron: "Alright."
After so more pleasantries, they hung up.
Caron, holding his phone, returned to the table and said, "Alright, Jensen, it’s all arranged."
Jensen responded with a ’Hmm,’ then took a script out from among the folders, laid it aside, and tapped the table twice with his distinctly jointed fingers.
"This one, no need for the others."
Caron took a look—it was a wuxia fantasy genre.
Wuxia fantasy films weren’t particularly popular right now, but the script was quite good, which was why he brought it along for Jensen to review.
However, he hadn’t expected Jensen to choose a wuxia one in the end.
Although wuxia is nice, the other two were also very good. After all, any script that reaches Jensen’s hands is bound to be of quality.
"Jensen, don’t you want to look at the others? That action film is also quite good."
Jensen waved his hand, "No need, just this one."
