After Mia Sutton woke up in the morning, she was bewildered by her own sleeping posture and almost forgot she had to go to the company for practice today.
She hurriedly washed up, and even she, who usually looked beautiful, had no awareness of being a celebrity today; she didn’t even put on makeup, just applied so moisturizer, tied her hair into a casual, ssy ponytail, and left the room. Before leaving, she specifically pushed the door open to say goodbye to Jensen Sterling.
.....
After Mia left, the room quieted down. Jensen Sterling glanced at the pillow that had been abandoned to the side, not knowing what he thought of, then chuckled softly, got out of bed, and started to wash up.
The house was very quiet, so Jensen knew his mom wasn’t ho; she probably left early in the morning.
He didn’t mind either; after washing up, he went to the dressing room and opened the closet door, seeing half of it filled with Mia Sutton’s clothes. They seed out of place with his belongings, yet also seed to complent them well.
No matter how they looked, to Jensen’s eyes now, they were just a perfect match.
...
On her way to the company, Mia kept thinking about what had just happened. It was really... so embarrassing, but it seed like she had felt soone’s abs, and it felt, well, not bad.
Suddenly, she felt better again.
After arriving at the company, she was neither too early nor too late, and soon, everyone was there.
The company had specifically arranged dance and vocal teachers for them. Ti was tight, and the tasks were heavy, so they jumped right into the topic.
They started with dance practice, and they were to learn the song parts on their own first before integrating them together later.
The song Swordswoman actually had very high requirents for dance. Singing it was inherently different from those gentle songs; it contained power, and naturally, the dance was the sa.
The dance was quite difficult, and the expectations for them were high as well, making it a rather arduous task.
Nine people sat together with the teacher to discuss dance adaptations. They were a recently debuted girl group, and many eyes from the outside world were on them.
This was considered their debut stage after launching, and the formality of the occasion was self-evident. Simply copying their old videos wasn’t feasible; they had to add their own ideas and elents to the dance, modifying it based on the original choreography.
Mia Sutton and Lynn Joyner actually had similar dance skills, except Lynn was better at modern dance, while Mia excelled more in classical dance.
So when combined, the effect would be better.
The morning slipped away bit by bit, with all their ti spent on rearranging dance moves. The process was quite challenging, and all morning passed as they thought of moves, tried them out, then kept thinking and trying again.
After a whole morning of this, it was as tiring, if not more so, than dancing all morning.
Finally, the nine of them, plus a dance teacher, completed this part around 2 p.m.; so people were just exhausted and lay flat on the floor.
"Alright, everyone is tired, take a break, have sothing to eat, and we’ll continue in the afternoon."
At this ntion, everyone realized they were hungry and saw it was almost 2 p.m.
Mia’s head leaned on Lynn Joyner’s shoulder not out of exhaustion but hunger; she had forgotten to have breakfast after her morning ordeal.
She hadn’t felt it while busy, but now it felt like her stomach wasn’t hers anymore.
Lynn supported Mia’s head with a hand and said, "Mia, I’ll order us takeout, what do you want to eat?"
Mia glanced at the phone screen, picked two items randomly, and Lynn added a few more on her own.
Everyone else also ordered takeout, ate, rested for a while, and then continued.
....
In the dance studio mirrors were the reflections of nine practicing figures; a few people in the group primarily focused on vocals so their dance skills were relatively weaker.
If talking about who had strong dance abilities in the group, it had to be Mia Sutton and Lynn Joyner. Lynn, at first, had so unsure moves that she had already asked Mia about, and now the two could almost string the moves together completely.
Vivian Sumrs, after practicing for quite a while, still had so unstable moves, so she went over to ask Mia Sutton.
Her main focus now was vocals; although her dancing was okay, it was ultimately weaker compared to her singing.
"Mia... these moves here, I’ve never quite gotten them, can you help check them?" Vivian asked, pointing to a few moves on her phone.
Mia glanced at the screen, understood, then set the phone aside and demonstrated in slow motion in front of the mirror.
Then she turned around and looked at Vivian, saying, "You try once, let see where the problem is."
Vivian nodded and started doing those moves.
"Here, your back needs to be straight and upright," Mia said, pressing on her shoulder.
This song already had a theatrical elent, and for perforrs of such, the basic skill requirents were very high. They couldn’t quite reach that level, but they had to be sowhat similar.
"And here, your leg stretches too far; the thrust should co from the hip joint."
Mia pointed out all the areas that needed attention when the dance teacher walked in, just catching sight of this, and smiled slightly.
This group was sincere and focused, unlike another debut group she had taught who were not diligent despite lacking technical skills. Everyone appreciates those who put in the effort.
After the dance teacher ca in, she clapped her hands, "Alright, everyone gather around."
Once gathered, the teacher said, "I just saw everyone practicing, and the progress is very fast, very good. Now everyone string the moves together, I’ll watch the effect."
After saying that, everyone started following the music to put the moves together. Although they could complete a full routine, many moves weren’t perfectly executed.
But this was already quite impressive.
After watching them for a while, the teacher nodded, "With such a short ti, stringing the moves together is already comndable, especially Mia Sutton and Lynn Joyner; there’s almost nothing to critique, very excellent."
"That’s it for today, everyone can go back, and tomorrow we’ll start focusing on details."
"Oh, by the way," the teacher said before leaving, "do you have a group chat? Rember to add to it, sotis I’ll send so materials."
