Chapter 1438: Ending 1: The Fire of No Regrets_10
The illusions created by the mind stem were much more realistic.
Although Noland Lee was rely an observer in that illusion, he could move freely.
He listened to the exchanges at the eting site while flying near the mbers of Dillan Paradise, admiring the small spheres orbiting their bodies.
These tiny, clear spheres were actual planetspheres, just compressed to an extre degree by space compression.
Noland could not only observe them closely but also penetrate them with his consciousness, seamlessly switching to the ground-level view of the spheres.
Comparing this, it was easy to see how rough the current illusion was.
...
“Why is this so? Why is this illusion so blatantly fake? It does not seem to match Vaana’s strength,” he muttered.
Noland delved into the mystery deep in thought.
He could hardly believe that Vaana would intentionally place such a poor-quality illusion at the site guarding the Sacred Fire.
There had to be so secret at play.
As his thoughts raced, Noland recalled the plan he had discussed with the Assassin Angel.
The best way to force the tal Ancestor Dragon to reveal its true form of the Evil Curse was to pass through the Illusion Space before it, entering the Inner Star Space Core where the Sacred Fire was located.
The core of the Inner Star Space not only housed the Sacred Fire but also a contingency plan set by the Star God.
It was a switch that could reset the ti and space of the Inner Star Space to the 1000th year of the Era of Star Palace.
Activating this switch would reverse the space-ti of the entire Inner Star Space, erasing all beings and objects not from the 1000th year of the Era of Star Palace, including but not limited to Noland himself, as well as the tal Ancestor Dragon that had long since sided with Extraterrestrial Eternity.
Noland was not worried about dying from activating this switch.
Because both the Scroll Angel and the Assassin Angel had joint immunities.
After pressing the switch, these two angels would unite to vouch for Noland, protecting him from the effects of the space-ti reversal.
The others acquainted with Noland would receive the sa treatnt.
In short, entering the core of the Inner Star Space first would definitely corner the tal Ancestor Dragon.
Noland floated in the starry sky for three minutes, when a flash of insight struck him!
He seed to know how to pass through this Illusion Space now.
It was well known that Dillan Paradise excelled at space compression.
Each mber could easily compress a planetsphere to the size of a glass bead.
So, is it possible:
In this Illusion Space, there are one or several planetspheres compressed to an extre, and are these the only ones that can be landed on?
In other words, all planetspheres that cannot be landed on are fake; they are a type of deception.
Only the landable planetspheres are the exits of the Illusion Space.
Such planetspheres are compressed to the size of glass beads, hidden in the seemingly endless starry sky, known only to Vaana and the Star God.
Is this line of thought feasible?
A more intense luminance filled Noland’s eyes.
He believed it was feasible.
He didn’t discuss specifics for now—for trying was never wrong.
“Where could it be… Where is the planetsphere that I can land on…” he pondered.
Noland tried to approach a silver thread, allowing it to pull him into its midst and shuttle him among the planetspheres.
The shuttling process was like a cutscene; Noland could control nothing and move nowhere.
Upon reaching a planetsphere, he would be thrown into space by the thread, then free to act.
After transferring between over ten planetspheres, Noland’s body uncontrollably flew towards a certain thread and was imdiately taken to the eting site in Dillan Paradise, forcibly entering the main event.
After the main event, his thoughts stiffened, and his vision darkened.
When he opened his eyes, Noland had exited the Illusion Space and returned to the Crystal Ground, alongside other players who had just awoken.
“This won’t work. Each ti I enter the Illusion Space, I can stay for a maximum of 6 minutes. In such a short span, it’s impossible for alone to find a landable planetsphere,” he reasoned.
Noland squinted his eyes, calculating inwardly.
He seized the limited rest ti to transfer his consciousness from his avatar back to his actual body, opening his eyes on a desolate planetsphere.
He brought up the Ga Interface to share his findings and speculations with the ‘Command’ and the Assassin Angel.
Shortly after, the Assassin Angel provided a tip.
When constructing the Illusion Space, Vaana usually leaves a backdoor that can adjust the flow speed of ti.
This backdoor can be activated by incanting Spells silently.
The Assassin Angel, sourcing from unknown places, provided dozens of Spells for Noland to morize, to be tried upon his next entry into the Illusion Space.
Noland quietly noted them down, switching his consciousness back to his avatar.
As soon as his avatar’s eyes opened, a Death Steel Soldier approached, urging the players to reenter the Illusion Space.
At first glance, the Death Steel Soldier seed to provide little rest for the players.
But that was not the case.
Noland, at this mont, was not utilizing Senati’s power to lessen the delay between the Inner and Outer Star Space.
Counting the ti spent communicating with the Assassin Angel and the 5-minute delay between the Inner and Outer Star Space, the Death Steel Soldier had actually provided nearly half an hour of rest.
It was solely because Noland could not perceive the delay that he felt the illusion of having to get up and work the mont he closed and opened his eyes.
Entering the Illusion Space again, Noland was mindful to try the Spells internally.
He was fortunate; upon trying the third one, he triggered a change in the flow speed of ti within the Illusion Space.
Invisibly, the flow speed within the Illusion Space slowed down several tis, affording Noland ample ti.
