Basil’s face turned ashen, gritting his teeth, “You just said you were going to investigate the waiter, and then you ntioned my na. Who doesn’t know what you ant? Let tell you: I haven’t done anything, don’t falsely accuse !”
The waiter hurriedly explained, “Mrs. Mat, I was the one who poisoned you. I despise you! It was who wanted you dead! It has nothing to do with anyone else!”
Xaviera snorted, “A good dog! Quite loyal.”
Emboldened by the waiter’s response, Basil argued loudly, “What does this have to do with ? I don’t even know Mrs. Mat! It seems like you didn’t find anything, so you just found a scapegoat!”
Feigning dizziness, Zora Hughes appeared weak and pitiful, speaking with a weak voice, “Xaviera, I’m heartbroken to know you almost got poisoned, but you shouldn’t implicate innocent people!”
“Regardless of why the waiter poisoned you, it will sound terrible when it cos out. They’ll say you were too willful and treated your employees harshly, which is why people wanted to poison you. Zora Hughes’s face turned ashen, and she quickly explained, “Cousin, you misunderstood , I just think we should consider the big picture. How about waiting until the banquet is over? Everyone gathered here for the banquet, isn’t it? It’s not good for our guests to accompany you in this ss!”
“Even if this banquet is canceled, so what?” Caleb Mat, who stood beside Xaviera, suddenly spoke, his voice full of authority, “I don’t care whether the banquet can be held or not, but Miss Hughes, an outsider, seems to care a lot.”
Zora Hughes was at a loss, completely panicked.

Zora Hughes trembled, and Xaviera dared to make her embarrassed in public? Clenching her teeth, Zora felt a hint of uneasiness that Basil Carter had not gotten caught while instructing the waiter to poison her.
Caleb Mat waved his hand, “Steve Price, call the police.” After saying that, he led Xaviera towards the restroom.
The waiter was controlled by bodyguards, sitting on the ground with a frightened expression on his face.
